The train came to a crashing halt all of a sudden."Whats happening?"I asked.'Do not panic.It's just Lexton on the train tracks.' Nalek assured me.'Why is he on the tracks?!' I screamed in my head. 'To talk to you.' Nalek said.
"Really?"I asked.Then I realized that I actually said."Really what?"Lucy asked, walking up to me. "Oh, um......Really that we stopped.Heh?"I asked, rubbing the back of my neck.
Lucy just crossed her arms and looked at me."Really?You think I'm gonna fall for that?"Lucy asked."Yes?"I asked. "This talk isn't over."Lucy said, walking away."Natsu!"Lexton shouted over the noise of the train.I tore my attention towards him."What is it, Lexton?And why are you on the train?"I demanded.
"I'll tell you in a second, just sit down."Lexton said.
--------5 min later-------
"Okay, I came to talk about the Dragon Slayer Ball."Lexton said, sitting down as the train started moving again. "What about it?"I asked, as team Natsu crowded around me and Lexton."Well, I don't know how many more of the Dark Dragon Guild members still want my action items.Or how many more they'll steal."Lexton said.
"Wait, they stole some of your action items?"Erza asked.Lexton nodded."When?"Lucy asked."Today, 20 minutes ago, to be precise."Lexton said."Were's that white haired girl that was with you?"Lexton asked.Everyone looked away sadly.
"Did I say something wrong?"Lexton whispered in Wendy's ear."Yes.The white haired girl left the guild."Wendy whispered back."Oh."Lexton said.
"Welp, here."Lexton said, handing everyone a letter."What's this?"Amaya asked."An invitation to my ball."Lexton said.Everyone's eyes widened with excitement."Really?! We get to go?!"Wendy asked, practically jumping up and down. "Well, yes and no.Im asking you to be my guards durning the ball so that no one in the Dark Dragon guild will try a trick.
"Or steal any more action items.But you can still enjoy yourselves."Lexton said."We'll go!"Lucy blurted before anyone could protest."Ya!!!"Lucy, Amaya, Wendy, and Erza yelled gleefully."Ya....."Me,Gajeel, and Gray said gloomily.
"People can only come in from 6:15pm to 7:00 pm.And they have to have a invitation and have to be a Dragon Slayer." Lexton said."Then why do we get to go?"Gajeel asked with a stern frown of hatred."Because, your the guards. But you guys do get payed 2,000 Jewels per person."Lexton said.
"Yes!!"I yelled, jumping out of my seat."Here, just in case the white haired madden shows up."Lexton whispered, handing me a envelop that said 'MIKRIKO' in bolded letters.I looked at mine and it said 'NATSU' on it, just like Mikriko's.
"Okay."I whispered, looking down.The envelop had a stamp that sealed it closed."Well, good bye.See you in 4 days." Lexton said, exiting the train.I ran my figures over my envelop's seal.A small bump caught my attention.Created a small flame on my figure tip since it was starting to get dark.
What I saw astonished me.Words started to shimmer on the envelop but when I removed the flame, the words disappeared.I put my figure up to it again and started reading.
Natsu, if you found this, your smarter than I gave you credit for.I believe that with your friends, you can do anything.Even if one of them betrayed you.But every betrayal has its reason.
It was like he was talking directly about Mikriko.'Maybe he's right.Maybe there might be a reason why Mikriko betrayed me.' I thought.'He is right.Mikriko did it because she was lonely.She didn't have any parents, any friends when she was young.Then, Narkok just stole her the day Narkok killed Mikriko's father, Shezu.
'Shezu was part of Fairy Tail.A Water Dragon Slayer like Amaya.Narkok removed Mirkiko's memories besides the ones about the Dragon Flute,the reason Narkok wants Mikriko.Narkok swapped the other memories with ones he created of her living as a slave in the guild, and other things she needed to know about the guild.
'After 2 years, she became a assassin.She's been completely manipulated and brain washed.She-I've go to go.' Nalek said.'Nalek, Nalek?!'I yelled.There was no reply.'Did that really happen to Mikriko at such a young age?'I asked myself.If it was true, I was a baka.
