Mikriko's POV
"So,you've come back to be beaten again,haven't you?"I asked as Natsu struggled to move.'Im trying to help you,you baka.'I thought gloomily.
"Heh,I wouldn't really call this a 'battle', this'll be more like a training session,Mikriko."Dezar smirked. I scowled. 'He's trying to blow my cover,is he?' I thought."What does he mean 'training session,' Mikriko?"Natsu asked.
I shook my head."He's just trying to distract us."I lied easily, as if I really meant it.Natsu took the bait and believe me. "Enough chat! Electric Dragons Lightning Sword!"Dezar yelled, as a sword formed out of lightning that came out of nowhere.I barely dogged when the sword hit the ground were I was standing a second earlier.
He went for another strike,but this time,I blocked it with my hands.Blood started to stream down my wrist then my arm till it dripped off of my elbow."Egh."I grunted.
Dezar smirked."Narkok will be ferrous when he finds out what you did to me."I mutter too quiet even for Natsu to hear who was 8 feet away.
Erza and Gray ran towards me.I still held my hands up as Dezar applied more pressure."Uh...."I grunted as my whole body shook as I held my ground."Ice Make:Lace!"Gray yelled,pounding his fist against the palm of his hand.
Marcket came out of nowhere and blocked the attack with his huge sword."Dark Knights Duel Daggers!"Marcket yelled, summoning two duel daggers out of black mist.
"Electric Dragons Wall of Protection!"Dezar yelled,pulling up a force field.Erza and Gray fell into it, being pushed off. I knew for fact that no one would be able to hear us now, or reach us, in that fact.
"Give up,Mikriko."Dezar said, putting even more force onto the sword.I cried out in pain, tears slowly streaming down my face. "I won't let you hurt innocence anymore."I said, my bangs covering my eyes.
"Awe, your pretending to be someone else,aren't you? Even though you have killed hundreds, you pretend you haven't hurt a single person? You are desperate, aren't you?"Dezar asked.
I looked up at him,my eyes no longer covered."I have no idea what you mean."I lied, remembering Natsu who was inside of the force field.
Natsu's POV
I watched in horror as Mikriko blocked the sword attack.I struggled once more as blood dripped from Mikriko's arms. Dezar put up a force field,as Erza and Gray flew back away from the force field.
"Give up,Mikriko."Dezar said."I won't let you hurt innocence anymore."Mikriko said, her bangs covering her eyes. My eyes widened.I've never seen her like this.
"Awe, your pretending to be someone else,aren't you? Even though you have killed hundreds, you pretend you haven't hurt a single person? You are desperate, aren't you?"Dezar asked.
'What does he mean? Pretending to be someone else? Killed hundreds?' I thought."I have know idea what you mean." Mikriko said.This didn't seem real.What was happening? Why do I feel so helpless and confused?!
"Is he telling the truth, Mikriko?"I asked.She looked over to me, her teeth grind. "Of course not."She said, smiling a closed eyed smile.I couldn't take it, Mikriko was basically dieing protecting Fairy Tail.
"I won't let you win."Mikriko said, eye covered and wind picking up.White light pulsed from the ground, Mikriko's hair flapping madly.
"Light lives inside of me."Mikriko said.But it didn't sound like her voice.It sounded like multiple voice all at once. She opened her eyes and they were glowing the color blue.
I looked at her shocked.Even Dezar and Marcket did too.They pulled away.Mikriko over lapped her hands and blue light pulsed out of them, a beam hitting Dezar and Marcket.
They disappeared a second later."Were'd they go?!?! They're basters! Wimps!" Mikriko yelled into empty air. "What did you say?"Dezar said, appearing behind her.He smirked.
Mikriko turned around and look at him."Let's see who the wimp is now." Dezar said, kicking her in the chest."Mikriko!" I screamed.
Mikriko laid limp on the floor by the huge whole she had made.The magic holding me back broke free.I could move now."Good bye, Mikriko, forever."Dezar said, kicking her through the hole in the wall.
We were on an unstable bridge above a river.The bridge was thin so there was nothing to hold onto.I saw in horror as Mikriko fell off of the train.I dont know why it happened but I jumped off of the train, following her towards the water.
I grabbed ahold of her wrist.She had passed out.The cuts in her hands were deep.I pulled her closer to me till she was in my hug."Your safe now.Your safe now....."I whispered,closing my eyes as we splashed into the cold water below us.
