It was now the night of Elimination Chamber and as Jessica confirmed to social media she and Travis were expecting, she also announced she'd be away from WWE for the rest of the year at the very least. This was music to Josh and Cassie's ears, as this was the first step in Josh's plan to rid Travis of not only the Universal Championship, but also of him and Jessica from their lives. At the Chamber in Las Vegas, Josh, Cassie and Issie arrived to news for both the parents from Hunter.

Hunter: Now listen you two, we are planning something major for the pair of you. We want you to be the power couple of WWE, which is why that tonight, you Josh, thanks to Braun pulling out of the Chamber match due to a knee injury he sustained at a recent live event, will be taking his spot and winning the match. I know how much this will mean to you to get the title shot you deserve.

As Josh looked both surprised and amazed, Cassie then chimed in.

Cassie: So, what about me?

Hunter: Well, for you Cassie, you said you wanted competition for your belt, and tonight, you get it. You'll be taking on Nia and Sasha in a No DQ match for the title.

Cassie smiled as she relished the challenge of facing not only 2 formidable opponents, but also, 2 former champions.

Cassie: Bring it on. I'll prove that tonight, I'm ready for anything.

Hunter: And that's not all. Thanks to the bad blood between you two and Travis, well, let's just say you'll be calling the shots - by deciding the match stipulation.

A wry smile then formed on his face as this was exactly what he wanted.

Josh: Perfect, this is perfect.

Cassie could tell that this was the time for both she and Josh to get revenge on Travis, and Jessica in a way, for everything they did to them.

Hunter: I know what those two did, and I'm giving you the chance to give Josh absolutely everything he needs to get revenge.

Josh simply shook Hunters hand before he and Cassie left. When the door closed, Josh put Issie's carrier on a crate while the two shared a kiss before smiling at each other.

Josh: This is perfect. A chance for us to get revenge on that son of a...

Cassie put a finger on his lips to silence him before hugging him.

Cassie: You do what you need to. I won't stop you, just make sure you put him through hell.

After an hour getting prepped for their matches, and leaving Issie in Leah and Truth's care for the night, it was match time. Cassie's title defence was the second match, after an epic Intercontinental Championship match, which saw Ali win the belt from Shinsuke Nakamura thanks to an amazing springboard 054 after Nakamura missed a Kinshasa knee and went knee first into the turnbuckle. As Ali got backstage, he and Josh embraced as the two were good friends.

Josh: Congrats mate, you deserve it.

Ali: Thanks, bro.

As Ali went off to celebrate, Josh had some last words of wisdom for Cassie before her match.

Josh: Now, Nia and Sasha are no slouches. Both of them former champions, and Sasha has achieved quite a lot. She's been in the Royal Rumble, Hell In A Cell, Money In The Bank, Iron Woman, Last Women Standing... She'll take any chance she gets. As for Nia, she's quite powerful, but also slow, so try and use that to your advantage. Just bear that in mind.

Cassie: I will babe, don't you worry.

They shared a good luck kiss before they went their separate ways. After the entrances were over and done with, both Nia and Sasha went at it following the history the two of them have, leaving Cassie to watch and try and take any opportunity. She got it when Nia flattened Sasha with a Samoan Drop and the Boss rolled out of the ring. While her back was turned, Cassie hit a dropkick to the back of Nia, sending her into the turnbuckle, before the Aussie got a kendo stick and continuously struck the back of her until the stick broke. The Aussie then got a chair and did the same to Sasha, wearing her down until Sasha caught the chair and drove it into Cassie's midsection. Josh watched on nervously in catering as Cassie was now getting double teamed by Nia and Sasha.

Josh: Come on babe, you can do this...

It was almost like Cassie heard him, because as Sasha set up a table and Nia had Cassie up for a Samoan Drop through the table, Cassie countered and hit a reverse Frankensteiner on Nia, sending her head first through the table, pretty much knocking her out. Sasha then tried to capitalise, locking in the Banks Statement on Nia, but Cassie then pulled Sasha off her and put her in her own version of the Banks Statement, almost making Sasha tap. The Boss then countered by forcing her way out of it and hitting a backstabber. Cassie kicked out at 2 and 9 tenths, leaving Sasha furious. She slapped the mat in frustration, while unknowingly, Cassie was back on her feet, chair in hand. When Sasha turned around, Cassie threw the chair at her, and as she caught it, she hit her spinning heel kick right to the chair, delivering the kick right to Sasha's face. She covered Sasha and won the match.

Mike: Here is your winner and still Raw Women's Champion, Peyton Royce!

As Josh grew a smile backstage, he went to gorilla to congratulate his girlfriend on another job well done.

Josh: That was amazing. I liked the use of the chair!

Cassie: Thought you would!

After spending the next hour with Truth and Leab, it was now time for Josh's chamber match, and he'd be in there with some of the best in the business. He would be in there with Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Ricochet, and Bobby Lashley. Despite going into the match with the upmost confidence that he could get the job done, he was still a little nervous about stepping inside the Chamber for the first time, and Cassie could tell.

Cassie: Well, I can't exactly say I know how you're feeling right now, cos I don't. But this is one of the most dangerous structures in WWE. And in order for you to gain revenge for the both of us, I'll need you fighting fit for Wrestlemania. Just remember that.

She gave him a kiss before hugging him and kissing his forehead and then leaving him alone to mentally prepare. As the rest were doing their entrances, Josh then got ready for his own. As his music played and he went down to the ring, he saw everyone else in there, and the sheer brutality of what was about to go down in the match. He took a deep breath and muttered to himself.

Josh: Time to get the job done...

Josh then took off his ring jacket and entered the ring, as he would be starting the match along with Lashley. As the bell rang, Josh wasted no time, catching Lashley out with a superkick. But Bobby kicked out at 1 and at that moment, Josh knew this wouldn't be a walk in the park.

Josh: Let's do this...

After another 15 minutes, everyone bar Drew McIntyre was in the match, and as his pod opened, he had a psycho look on his face. He quickly got to work, nailing Rollins with a Claymore with Lashley holding his head to the pod, knocking him out and with Drew pinning him, eliminating him. Next to go was Ricochet, as he went for a springboard move, Lashley caught him with a spear in midair, pinning him. As The Almighty celebrated though, he then turned round to a spear from Reigns, eliminating Bobby. As Drew and Roman then slugged it out, Josh climbed to the top of the pod, and looked down below.

Cassie: Don't you dare... Don't you dare...

Taking a deep breath, he jumped and landed Creation Of Energy on both of them, landing hard on his midsection. He covered Roman, and eliminated him, but when he covered Drew, the Scottish Psychopath kicked out. With the fans shouting "Holy Shit" and "This Is Awesome", it was clear they wouldn't forget this match for a while. Josh got to his feet, but not for long as Drew rolled him up for 2, and when Josh kicked out he was met by a Claymore kick into the steel cage.

With Drew sensing victory was his, he pointed to the Wrestlemania sign and did the title belt motion, but didn't see Josh come from nowhere with a springboard tornado DDT, followed by the First Spark. Josh then looked up at the top of the pod again and climbed up once more. After what happened before, Cassie couldn't bear to look as Josh looked around, saw Drew laying still, and then leapt into the air to hit a picture perfect Creation Of Energy, knocking the wind out of him. Eventually, Josh got the pin and the win.

Mike: Here is your winner, and the no.1 contender for the Universal Championship, Josh Stevens!!!

He had his hand raised as he then got out of the chamber and walked backstage, to be met by Cassie, who had a concerned look on her face.

Cassie: Well, that was certainly... Dangerous, to say the least...

Josh: I live for the spectacular, babe. You should know that by now.

Cassie: True... Come on, let's go celebrate.

The next night on Raw...

Travis was in the ring, receiving a hostile reception from the crowd.

Travis: Yes, yes, you all love me. But I'm not here to talk about you. I'm talking about Josh Stevens. Me and him have history. And at Wrestlemania, I intend to finish what me and Billie started at the Royal Rumble.

At the mere mention of Jessica, Cassie was fuming backstage. But she knew this was Josh's moment. He made his entrance and got in the ring, face to face with Travis.

Josh: Travis, Travis, Travis... You have no idea what is coming, do you? You honestly think that I intend to JUST take that shiny belt from you? Oh ho, hell no.

Josh then got right up in Travis' face.

Josh: You see, I am just getting started. You tried taking everything from me. So I figured, what better way to get my revenge than by doing it to you?! You see, there are a couple of things you should know about our match. Firstly, that it will have a special guest referee...

As his music played, Tommy Dreamer, the Innovator of Violence, came out to a massive pop, but not as big as a pop as to what Josh was about to reveal next.

Josh: Secondly, there's the fact that because I won last night, I get to pick the stipulation for our match. And I'm warning you now. You are gonna feel pain. You are gonna hurt so badly you'll be begging for me to stop. You're gonna be tortured within an inch of your life. Because at Wrestlemania, it's gonna be Josh Stevens vs Travis Sharp for the Universal Championship... in WWE's first ever... BARBED WIRE MASSACRE MATCH!!!

Travis was in sheer disbelief. His mic slid out of his hands and couldn't say a word.

Josh: Remember what they say about energy, boy... It cannot be created, nor can it be destroyed. So good luck trying to beat me. Cos you're gonna need it.
