Smackdown Live after Wrestlemania...

Everyone was there from both Cassie and Josh's family to see them, as Cassie kept her promise to Leah and would be offering her a title shot tonight, while Josh and Jeff would be speaking out for the first time since the awe-inspiring tag title match. All three of them arrived at the arena together, and while Cassie went to get ready for her match, Josh and Jeff had some time to address one another.

Jeff: Josh, I just wanna applaud you on how far you've come. I mean, back at the Royal Rumble, you were making your debut, and a little over 2 months later, here you are, one half of the tag team champions. I couldn't have had a better partner by my side.

Josh: You sure? What about your tag title wins with Matt?

Jeff: Okay, except maybe him, but you killed it out there. I mean, jumping from a 20 foot ladder through a flaming table? Only Energeon could do something as crazy as that...

Josh: Thanks man, that means a lot coming from someone like you... Now come on then, let's address our victory.

They made their way to gorilla and did their solo entrances, with Jeff first, and as he pointed to the back, Josh's music hit and he did his entrance, with both of them doing a high five with the belts, then draping them over their shoulders as they made their way to the ring.

Josh: Well, it looks like New York is the place to be tonight!!!

He got a loud cheer before continuing on.

Josh: 3 months ago, if you told me I'd be standing here the night after Wrestlemania as one half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champions with one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time in Jeff Hardy, I would not have believed you.

Jeff: And yet, here we are. Your new Tag Team Champions!!!

The crowd continued cheering, with a few of them even chanting 'Hardy, Hardy, Hardy!'

Jeff: The Usos put up one heck of a fight, but the vessels known as Willow and Energeon were able to rise...

Both: ... VICTORIOUS!!!

Jeff: And now, the question remains... Who wants a piece of us?

Josh: Well, the answer will be revealed in a number one contenders match which we will keep a close eye on...

Jeff: So... Heavy Machinery, Rowan and Bryan, Nakamura and Rusev, we await one of you come Money In The Bank.

Josh: And one last thing before we go... Peyton, baby... I love you, gorgeous! Good luck in your match tonight!

Backstage, Cassie was touched by Josh's message for her. And since her title match with Leah was up next, she met up with the boys as they returned backstage.

Cassie: Whoever you're facing for those titles, I know you'll beat them, babe!

Josh: Just like I know you'll beat Leah, I have every confidence in you. Now go out there and give those New Yorkers a good show! And maybe... when we get back... you could give me a good show...

Cassie smirked, giggled a little as she kissed her man before the boys left. She watched as Leah made her entrance, and then smiled even more at the thought of defending against someone she considered a true friend.

The match itself was pretty decent, with Leah locking in her Code Of Silence submission, and just as Cassie was about to tap, she stuck a leg out towards the bottom rope and just touched it, forcing Leah to break the hold. While both women got their breath back, Josh was watching admirably as Cassie fought with everything she had, before laying out Leah with her Fisherman's Suplex, before then hitting a Shooting Star Press, to get the win.

Ref: 1... 2... 3!

Greg: Here is your winner and still Smackdown Women's Champion, Peyton Royce!

Cassie then helped Leah back up to her feet, before the two then embraced in the middle of the ring. But before they could celebrate with the fans, Asuka came out and from the stage, stared Cassie down and pointed at the championship she was holding. And just when things couldn't get worse, Jessica then made her entrance and blindsighted Asuka by hitting her from behind with a microphone.

Jessica: Peyton... You didn't forget about me, did you? Cos I damn sure haven't forgotten what you did at Elimination Chamber! I will never forget that... And nor will I forget you taking my Josh away from me...

Cassie was furious and requested a mic of her own.

Cassie: So that's the game you wanna play, huh, Billie? Using MY boyfriend to try and get under MY skin? Well guess what, it worked. How about next week, IF you're still here on Smackdown Live, that is... You show your true colours and face me for this title?!

Jessica replied almost immediately as she didn't need a second thought.

Jessica: Fine... If that's what you want... But you're playing right into my hands, cos when I take that title from you, it means that if I do get traded to Raw, then I won't be on Raw for very long!

She then raised her belt up high while Billie just smirked and muttered to herself.

Jessica: She doesn't have the slightest clue...

As the rest of the night progressed, the triple threat match to decide the challengers for the tag champs was now decided.

Greg: Here are your winners, the team of Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura!

Jeff and Josh looked at each other with a smirk on their faces, while Cassie was checking her messages.

Jeff: This won't be an easy match... I've been in the ring with Shinsuke, he's a tough opponent...

Josh: You two would definitely be able to throw it down again...

Jeff: I'll never forget what happened at Extreme Rules...

Josh: This is the chance for a little redemption in a way... Babe, what do you think?

Cassie completely blanked Josh as she was still reeling from the fact that Jessica had returned.

Josh: Yoo hoo... Earth to Cassie?!

Cassie: Sorry, what?

Jeff: You okay? You seemed real zoned out there for a minute...

Josh: Yeah, what's up?

Cassie: It's just... With Jessica returning and all that, it kinda throws a spanner in the works for what I wanted to do with this title.

Josh: Hey, don't let her get into your head. Remember the Superstar Shake-up is next week. I mean, for all we know she could be drafted to Raw, remember!

Cassie: Yeah I know... And with you guys at my side I know I have the best support system!

Jeff: True! Now I'm gonna go, gonna work on my next album! I'll see you guys on Friday for the live event in my home state!

Josh: Later dude!

Now, Cassie and Josh were alone, but not for long, as they now had to participate in their final match for the Mixed Match Challenge. Josh had asked for them to be eliminated due to both of them having their titles now, and Cassie agreed with him. So rather than Hunter's original plan on having Josh and Cassie win the whole tournament, they were instead going to lose to 2 people they both had a lot of respect for, Finn Balor and Bayley.

Josh: Well, our final match for this tournament...

Cassie: Yeah, maybe this will take my mind off things...

Josh: Hey, relax, it's fine! Like me and Jeff said, Jessica might be going to Raw, plus you're bound to have new faces to challenge you.

Cassie began to perk up a little with a smile growing on her face.

Cassie: How do you always know what to say in moments like this?

Josh: I guess I have a way with words...

Cassie: Play your cards right, mister, and those words will be useful when we get back tonight...

Josh: You're real cheeky sometimes, you know that?

Cassie: Yep! Now, come on!

The match itself was quite decent, with Cassie hitting a suicide dive on Bayley and Josh even nailed a perfect Coup de Gras on Finn, before Bayley saved the match by breaking it up. Shortly after, Bayley then got a small package roll up and the win after Cassie went for her fisherman's suplex, but then let go and went down, clutching her stomach. Josh immediately sensed something was wrong, and rushed to his girlfriend's aid as soon as the bell rang.

Josh: You okay?

Cassie: No... I feel like I'm gonna throw up...

Josh: Let's get you to the back, and quick...

When they got to Josh's locker room, Cassie bolted for the toilet, and locked the door behind her. Josh could hear her throwing up loudly.

Josh: Babe?

Cassie: (coughing) Yeah?

Josh: I've gotta go do a quick interview, will you be okay here on your own for a bit?

Cassie: Yeah... do what you gotta do! Could you get me some water as well?

Josh: No worries, I won't be long!

As Josh left, he immediately found 3 bottles of water for Cassie, and then headed to meet Cathy for his interview.

Cathy: So, Josh, what exactly went down out there with Peyton?

Josh: As far as I know, Peyton's not feeling too good, and she's quite ill. She's in the locker room right now so...

Cathy: So what do you and her do now going forward on Smackdown Live?

Josh: Well, she has another title match next week against Billie, regardless of whether she's going to Raw or not. I know that Peyton will pull through, though. She's beaten Billie before and she'll do it again. As for me... I need to focus on Money In The Bank and the challengers for my and Jeff's tag titles, Rusev and Nakamura. It won't be easy, but I know we can do it.

Cathy: Okay, thanks a lot, Josh.

As the camera cut, Josh tried to rush off back to Cassie, but felt his arm being grabbed by Cathy.

Cathy: Josh, do you have a second?

Josh: Er... better make it quick, what's up?

Cathy: I just need your advice on something. I have feelings for someone on the roster, but they're already taken by someone else, what do you think I should do?

Josh: I'd say, come clean and admit it to them. I mean, chances are they'll say no and focus on the woman they're already with. That's probably the best answer I can give you...

Cathy: I guess so...

Josh: Now, I've really gotta go!

He tried going again, but was again stopped by Cathy. But this time, there was nothing to be said, because Cathy just went for it and kissed him for all she was worth. Josh tried to pull away, but Cathy's grip was now tight around his waist.

Cathy: Josh, I need you. It's always been you. Just do the right thing, leave Cassie, and be with me...

Josh: Are you serious?

Cathy: As serious as I can be, Josh. I want to be with you so bad, and I'll do anything to make it happen.

Josh: Well, let me give you an answer right now. No, I'm not interested, Cathy. I have Cassie and she's the one for me whether you like it or not. Now I'm sorry, but I have to go care for my girlfriend.

Josh then left and sprinted down the hallway back to his locker room, while Cathy just had a smirk on her face.

Cathy: Cassie, enjoy your time with him, cos it won't last long... And as for you Jessica, you're another problem I have to deal with...

While Josh made his way back to his locker room, Cassie was still throwing up in the toilet. While she was resting and laid back on the wall, she had a thought.

Cassie: Could I be... No, not a chance... But it is a symptom...

While she was lost in thought, Josh then returned with the water for her. She immediately downed a whole bottle before beginning to stand up.

Josh: You sure you're okay?

Cassie: Yeah, I should be good for a bit. Can we just go now? I'm real tired...

Josh: After the night you've had, I don't blame you one bit. Come on, you're in no state to walk...

He picked Cassie up bridesmaid style and carried her to the car. Josh could see that her face was getting really white and pale, so he rushed her back to the hotel room, where she was able to undress herself and go to bed. But the trouble was, she couldn't sleep because of how the pain in her stomach occurred, as well as what she kept thinking.

Cassie: Could I be... pregnant? Are me and Josh ready for a baby? Am I ready to be a mum?

She was completely unaware that right next to her, Josh was also side awake, as he had his own mental problems to deal with. For some strange reason, he couldn't get the kiss with Cathy out of his head.

Josh: Why the hell did Cathy kiss me? What will Cassie think? Will she end it?

One thing was for sure, both of them had to sort things out. And fast.
