The next morning, Josh slowly woke up to see Cassie still sleeping next to him. It was 9am, and luckily, Smackdown's house show wasn't until Saturday, so the blue roster had a few days to rest up.

Josh: Look at you, still sweet and sound in dreamworld. I wonder what you're dreaming about... I wish you were awake so I could tell you how I feel about you... cos since my last letter to you, my feelings for you haven't changed. I still love you Cassie... And I always will.

He got up to have a shower and make breakfast for them. Meanwhile, Cassiebwas slowly waking up and looked at the other side of the bed to see it empty. Was her time with Josh last night a dream?

Cassie: Josh? You there?

Josh: Yeah, I'm in the kitchen!

She gingerly got out of bed and stumbled towards the kitchen, where the sight she saw took her breath away. Josh was cooking breakfast, shirtless, and showing off the muscular, toned body he had. Sneakily, Cassie bit her lip, as she was turned on by the sight before her.

Cassie's mind: Holy moly... What a body! And those muscles... He is my definition of the perfect man...

Josh: Yoo hoo! Cass? Earth to Cassie!

Cassie then snapped out of her thoughts, as she saw Josh put a plate of food in front of her.

Cassie: Sorry, Josh, I was just... Thinking about something...

Josh: Riiight... Well, there's your breakfast. Bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage and toast, with orange juice. You deserve this after what's happened to you in the last few days.

Cassie took a bite of the egg and toast, and savoured it.

Cassie: Mmm, Josh, this is amazing. I didn't know you could cook!

Josh: Consider yourself lucky, it's actually one of very few things I can cook!

Cassie: Well, it's delicious, and I love it!

Josh's mind: And I love you...

Josh: Glad you like it. Now, I'm gonna go take a shower while you eat, you'll be okay, right?

Cassie: Yeah I'll be okay...

As Josh left for the bathroom, Cassie looked at her phone and saw 2 messages, one from Leah and the other from Hunter.

Leah: Hey Cass! Hope you're okay after what's gone on recently! Anyway, was wondering if you fancy coming along for a gym session today!

Hunter: Morning, Cassie. Just a little note to say you'll need to find your partner for the MMC by this Saturday. Let me know when you've made your decision. Enjoy your days off... I'd say you need them!

After reading the messages, she was curious as to whether Josh would want to be her partner. She then got her opportunity to ask when she heard the shower stop, and went to ask him. As she entered the door, she saw another amazing sight. Josh wearing only a towel, his hair wet, and it gave her a strange feeling in her stomach. Deciding not to hold back any longer, she went for it.

Cassie: Knock knock!

Josh: Hey, shower's free if you want it.

Cassie: Sure, just one thing first.

Josh: Shoot.

Cassie: You sure you don't wanna get properly dressed first?

Josh: I'll do that too. Now, what is it?

Cassie: Well, you know the Mixed Match Challenge?

Josh: Oh yeah, I remember watching that last year! What about it?

Cassie: Well, it's just... Hunter told me that I'm gonna be entering it for the third series, and I need a tag team partner.

Josh: Oh right. And I take it you're asking me?

Cassie: Well, it's up to you. Personally, I'd love it if we worked together...

Josh: Me too. Count me in!

Cassie: Great! I'll let Hunter know!

Josh: Okay then, nice! Now, you'd better get ready, cos I have a little surprise for you today!

Cassie: Really?

She jumped up and down all excitedly, like a little kid at Christmas.

Cassie: I'll take a shower and get dressed then...

While Cassie left for her shower, Josh messaged another old friend.

Josh: AJ, it's Josh.

AJ: Well, to what do I owe this unexpected pleasure? Nice debut on SD last night by the way, you have a moveset unlike any other!

Josh: High praise coming from you... But I need a favour. Are you around in Florida today?

AJ: As it happens, yeah, I am. I'm meeting the Good Brothers for a workout, why do you ask?

Josh: Well, you know Cassie?

AJ: Yep, you trying your charms on her?

Josh: Kinda... I need you to help me find the nearest Australian store that sells Aussie food.

AJ: Well, have you tried that new place near Orlando? I've literally just gone by it and it specialises in Australian food and other stuff.

Josh: You are a lifesaver, bro. Catch ya later! Say hi to the guys for me!

AJ: Will do, bro! Later!

After the quick text convo with AJ, Josh felt it was then time for Cassie to be given her surprise. As he was planning it though, he then heard Cassie from the bathroom.

Cassie: Josh?

Josh: Yeah?

Cassie poked her head out from behind the door and smiled at Josh.

Cassie: Er... This may be a little embarrassing, but can you get me my blue bra and panties from my case, please? I forgot to bring them in with me!

Josh had a quick rummage around before flashing them at Cassie.

Josh: Here you go... You need anything else before you come out?

Cassie: A towel would be nice, seeing as there's none left in here.

Josh then went to the spare bedroom, got a towel from the cupboard and returned to where Cassie was waiting.

Josh: You do realise I won't look, right?

Josh's mind: I'll just look in the mirror's reflection instead...

While Cassie gingerly wrapped herself in the towel, Josh was getting himself dressed in black jeans, a white top, and his signature black hooded bodywarmer that he wore to the ring. As he got ready, he could see Cassie take off the towel, and as he styled his hair, he couldn't help but look at her bare backside and her tremendous figure.

Josh: Holy...

As Cassie then looked at Josh, she was none the wiser as to what he just did. She just smiled and admired his phisique as he put on his shirt.

Cassie's mind: My god, he looks amazing in that shirt... but I bet he looks even more amazing out of it!

She then snapped out of her got dressed in her beige trousers, a purple crop top and a leather jacket, complete with thigh high boots. She then decided to surprise Josh, who was now in the living room waiting.

Josh: Wow, Cassie... You look beautiful...

Cassie couldn't help but blush at his statement as she wrapped her hands and arms around Josh's neck.

Cassie: Oh, before you say anything, one thing. You know how we're gonna be in the MMC together for season 3?

Josh: Yeah, why?

Cassie: Well, our first match is next week against Naomi and Jimmy...

Josh: Nice! I can't wait!

He then stood up, but Cassie didn't let go of her vice like grip on Josh's neck, to his amusement.

Josh: Now, for your surprise. I want it to just be us two today, so how about a beachside picnic?

Cassie: Aww I'd love that!

Josh: And it gets better! AJ was telling me of this Australian grocery store not far from here. If you like, we can stop off there and get some snacks.

Cassie: Wow, you think of everything! Yes, please! I will definitely make you try some fairy bread!

Josh: I... Didn't know something called fairy bread existed...

Cassie: Trust me, you'll love it!

When the both of them made the quick drive to the Australian grocery shop, Cassie was in awe of what she was seeing. Grabbing Josh's hand, she pulled him towards the fairy bread.

Cassie: Here you go, try a bit!

Josh cautiously took a bite of it, while Cassie finished it for him.

Cassie: So, what do you think?

Josh: Wow... That's amazing!

Cassie: Told you you'd like it!

They grabbed more of it as well as some other stuff, like Cassie's favourite wine, Penfolds, and then headed to the beach, where they had an amazing view of the sea, and the sun high in the sky. After they got the picnic basket from the boot, they then took a walk towards a good spot, with Cassie completely unaware of the fact that Josh and her were holding hands while walking together. Eventually though they got a good secluded spot and sat down.

Josh: Now, gimme some of that fairy bread, that stuff is too good!

While Cassie did that, Josh got the wine at the ready, and poured a couple of glasses for him and Cassie.

Josh: For you, m'lady.

Cassie couldn't help but blush at Josh's name for her. They clinked their glasses together and had a sip before Josh then spoke up.

Josh: Listen, Cassie... There's something I've been meaning to get off my chest... And I think now is the perfect time to tell you. You remember in that last letter I sent you, I told you that I loved you? Well, those feelings haven't gone away, and I still do love you. I know we've only just rekindled the friendship, but, it's true. Cassandra... I love you.

Cassie herself was in pure and utter shock. The man she fancied just admitted he not only had feelings for her, but that he loved her. A couple of happy tears flowed down her face as she tried to compose herself and reply.

Josh: I know you probably don't feel the same way, but I just had to tell you...

She interrupted him by taking his hands in hers and holding them.

Cassie: Josh, it's you. It's always been you. Sure I may have had old ex boyfriends who have treated me like crap, but when I'm around you, I can tell that you're completely  different than anyone else. You treat me like royalty, which I adore. So now, I'm gonna say something I never thought I'd ever say to anyone again. Josh... I love you too.

The two then smiled at one another as the grip on each other's hands became tighter.

Josh: So... what happens now?

Cassie: This is the part when you kiss me... I think.

Their heads slowly moved towards each other, and with the sun beginning to set in the background, their lips made contact for the first time, and sparks flew between the pair. Cassie deepened the kiss by wrapping her arms around Josh's neck and he returned the signal by wrapping his arms around her waist. After a few minutes of solid making out, the two then pulled away from each other, breathless as to what they just went through.

Josh: Wow... You're an amazing kisser.

Cassie: So are you. The best kisser I've ever had.

Josh: Thanks... So, where do we go from here? I mean... Since we admitted we love each other, do you think we...?

Cassie silenced him by putting a finger on his lips.

Cassie: Shh... Don't say anything. Not a word. If you were gonna ask what I think you were gonna ask me, then let me give you my answer.

As Cassie kissed him yet again, fireworks began to be lit in the background and all around them was a sea of colour as Cassie gave Josh her answer.

Cassie: Josh Stevens, my answer... Is yes. I would love to be yours. I would love to be your girlfriend for as long as I live.

They then kissed once more, and as the fireworks erupted in the sky, the happy couple then held hands while kissing to show their love for one another. As they pulled away, Josh finally spoke.

Josh: You have no idea how happy I am right now.

Cassie: Me too. Just the thought of you has kept me going for the last few days, which I'll admit, have been some of the worst of my life.

Josh: Yeah, I saw what Jessica did to you at the Rumble. You didn't deserve that.

Cassie: Speaking of Jessica, have you seen this?

Cassie pulled up her Instagram account, where she got the WWE page. The most recent post was concerning Elimination Chamber.

wwe: After being attacked by peytonroycewwe on SD Live, billiekaywwe will face off against her former bestie in a No Holds Barred match at Elimination Chamber!

Josh: Whoa... That'll be epic to watch...

Cassie: I can't wait to get my revenge on that good for nothing bitch...

Josh: Easy, Cass. Save it for the Chamber. But for now, look what Jessica posted.

billiekaywwe: What you did will haunt you, Peyton. For next week... I have a surprise you will never expect.

Josh: Wonder what she's on about...

Cassie: Yeah... Guess I'll find out when the time comes.

The two then packed up and walked hand in hand back to the car, and Josh drove them back to his apartment. Cassie was getting tired, so as they watched a movie, she got comfortable laying on Josh's lap, as he fed her popcorn. Slowly, she was beginning to fade into dreamworld, but not before she whispered a few words.

Cassie: I... love you... Josh...

Josh couldn't help but smile and stroke her hair as she fell into a slumber. He then kissed her forehead and she smiled in her sleep.

Josh: I love you too, my true IIcon.
