The morning after Smackdown, Cassie and Josh were still worried about what went down the previous night. Cassie couldn't get the thought of being pregnant out of her head, while Josh was thinking about what Cathy said and did. He now had to explain things to Cassie honestly, and how to do it. Luckily for him, he was the first one awake so he could make breakfast and some coffee for them both. While waiting for the kettle to boil, he noticed a message from Cathy on his phone.

Cathy: Hey gorgeous, really enjoyed that kiss last night! Just wanted to say that I miss you. Hope you've had some time to think about what I said too! Mwah!😘

Josh banged his hand against the table in frustration once he read it. Luckily it wasn't enough to wake up Cassie, but he was still frustrated, so he replied almost immediately.

Josh: What happened last night was a mistake, it shouldn't have happened. I think it's best if you just stay away from both me and Cassie, especially in the state she's in at the moment.

He felt happy he had that situation under control, for the time being at least. He then made some French toast and coffee and headed back to the bedroom, where Cassie was beginning to stir.

Josh: Morning, my Sleeping Beauty! How you feeling after last night?

Cassie groaned at first but then smiled a little at the sound of her boyfriend's voice and began to wake up properly.

Cassie: Morning... Ugh, I feel like I've got a hangover...

Josh: Well I made some French toast, hopefully that'll make you feel a little better!

Cassie: You always know the way to my heart babe... I LOVE French toast!

He gave her a smile before taking a deep breath and deciding to tell her the truth about what happened with Cathy.

Josh: So, listen... There's something that was bugging me what happened last night...

Cassie had a look of worry on her face.

Cassie: This isn't about our Mixed Match Challenge loss, is it?

Josh: No, no, I'm fine with that. It's just... When Cathy interviewed me, she said... That you were no good for me and... she also kissed me.

Cassie then got even more worried.

Cassie: W-what? She... KISSED you?

Josh: I tried telling her that you were always the one for me but she just wouldn't listen. She said I'd be better off with her. Obviously I didn't believe her and I didn't kiss her back. I mean... I barely even talk to her...

Josh looked worried, but when he saw Cassie with a little smirk on her face, he then began to get a little confused.

Cassie: Believe me, babe... If you kissed her back, I'd be royally pissed off with you, but after you explained the whole thing, and when you said that I'm the only girl for you, it's hard to stay mad at you. It's Cathy I'm mad at for trying something with my man. Believe me, on Smackdown next week, she'll regret even laying a finger on you.

Josh couldn't wipe the smile off his face as he then hugged Cassie and kissed her for all he was worth.

Cassie: Speaking of sharing secrets... I feel like I should tell you mine about why I was ill. All night I struggled to sleep, and I still don't feel right. It was only when I did get to sleep that I began to realise what it could be.

Josh: Was it something you ate?

Cassie: If only it was that.

She then grabbed both of Josh's hands and held them tightly as she took a deep breath and came out with her secret.

Cassie: Josh... I think I'm pregnant.

Josh's jaw dropped at those words. He was speechless for the next 10 seconds and couldn't take his eyes off Cassie.

Josh: You... THINK you're pregnant?

Cassie: Well yeah, I mean, I've been violently ill for the last 10 hours or so. But I haven't taken a test yet. And also, there's... something else too.

Josh: Whatever it is babe, I'll be here for you.

Cassie: Okay then... It's just... When I was younger, I found out... that there's a very low chance I can have kids. I never did find out the reason why, but the specialist I went to said there's only a 10-20% chance that I can get pregnant.

Josh, for all the man he was, shed a tear at Cassie's confession. They both shared a deep hug and a tender kiss.

Josh: Cassandra... You must be the bravest soul I know. Having to live with that, it must be a kick in the teeth as I'm assuming you want kids...

Cassie: Believe me when I say this, Josh. My number one goal in life now that I'm with you is for us to start a family of our own. I don't care if I've only just won this championship, I'd give it up in a heartbeat to be with you and the children we could have in the future.

Josh: You might wanna change that could into will. Cos no matter what the circumstances may be regarding your health situation, I want kids just as much as you do. Whether that's 5 months or 5 years away, it'll happen one day. I'm sure of it.

Cassie couldn't help but shed a tear of her own before snuggling up to Josh.

Cassie: If you say so babe. If you say so. Now, in order to find out if I am pregnant or not, I'd say we need to get a test. So here's what I suggest. Seeing as we have a free couple of days, we go get a test and see for ourselves together.

Josh: Sounds good to me. Plus I just want you to know that regardless of whether that test comes back positive or negative, I'll still love you no matter what.

Cassie: That's reassuring to know babe! But first we need to get ready, so how about we put a little bit of that free time to good use in the shower, since we never got a chance to last night?

Smut Alert!

Before Josh could answer, Cassie had dragged him into the shower, and Josh's jaw dropped as every bit of clothing was now stripped from her body, leaving her fully nude. She then literally tore off Josh's shirt and pulled down his boxers before turning on the water and pulling him towards the wall.

Cassie: I can't wait any longer babe, I've been craving his bad boy inside ever since the last time!

Josh: I love it when you're in this kind of mood baby girl...

The two then got themselves cleaned up and dressed for the day. They then headed to the chemist and picked up 3 pregnancy tests before getting a bite to eat at a small cafe. They were caught off guard a little by some fans, but they were more than willing to sign stuff and pose for them.

Cassie: To Amelia, the next true IICON! From Peyton!

Amelia: Wow! Thank you, Miss Royce!

Cassie: Just call me Peyton, Miss Royce makes me sound like a school teacher!

Amelia then rushed back to her mum Kate, who was also waiting for her son Jack, who was posing for a picture with Josh.

Josh: There you go bud!

Jack: This is SOOO cool! Thank you so much!

Josh: No problem! Oh, one more thing before you go...

Josh pulled out 3 tickets for Money In The Bank, where both Jack and Amelia would get to see their favourite stars in action.

Jack: No way!!!

Amelia: Mummy, look!

Amanda: Oh gosh, I... I can't take these!

Josh: I insist. I love fans like you guys, so consider this a little reward for being amazing people!

Amanda: If you insist, then... Thank you. Thank you so much!

Josh: No problem! I look forward to seeing you guys there in a few weeks!

As Josh and Cassie said their goodbyes to the family, Cassie herself couldn't help but think about how good Josh acted around the kids.

Cassie's mind: He cares so much about kids... I wonder how he'll be if he ever has kids of his own with me...

She immediately snapped out of it before the two headed back to their hotel room. Almost as soon as they got in, Cassie sat on the bed and slowly pulled one of the pregnancy tests out of the bag while Josh watched and sat down next to her. He then grabbed her hand and held it as he spoke to her.

Josh: Listen to me babe. It doesn't really matter to me if you are pregnant or not. It won't change how I feel about you. And ONLY you. Not Cathy, not Jessica, no other girl would do for me. Except you. So just remember that while you take it.

Cassie felt a tear run down her face and gently kissed Josh before slowly pulling away and taking a deep breath and grabbing the bag with the other tests in it.

Cassie: You always know what to say to me in situations like this babe. I honestly don't know where I'd be without you by my side.

Josh: I will always be by your side babe. Now go take those tests.

Cassie took another deep breath and headed to the bathroom to do the tests. She took them one at a time, and after a good 20 minutes, they were ready.

Cassie: Okay, Josh, you can come in now!

Josh cautiously entered the bathroom, where Cassie had put the tests on the shelf with the result facing down.

Cassie: I haven't seen the results yet, I wanted you to be in here when I did.

Cassie then grabbed the tests and handed one to Josh.

Josh: On three...

Cassie: Okay. One...

Josh: Two...

Both: Three!

They both turned the tests over and all three of them showed the same result.

NEGATIVE.

For a split second the pair didn't know what to think, before Josh then spoke up.

Josh: Like I said... Just because these say negative doesn't mean it's the end of the world. We can try again in the future. But I think for now, it's best we focus on our titles.

Cassie just smiled and hugged her man.

Cassie: I think that's a real wise decision babe. I mean, I have my Women's title match next week against Jessica, while you and Jeff have that tag title defense against Rusev and Nakamura at Money In The Bank. And I'll also deal with Cathy next week too. Nobody kisses my man and gets away with it.

Josh: Yep, two tough matches! But let's not worry about that now, we've got a couple of free days, let's just sit back and relax and not worry about anything!

Cassie: Sounds perfect, handsome! I'll get some snacks ready, you choose the movie!

Josh: You got it!

While Josh got Netflix set up, Cassie got some snacks together in the form of popcorn, crisps and some drinks. But whilst she was waiting for the popcorn, she kept rubbing her stomach, feeling a little sad that she wasn't pregnant.

Cassie: One day, our wish will come true, Josh. One day.
