It was now the last Smackdown Live before Elimination Chamber, and the road to Wrestlemania was beginning to take shape. Andrade Cien Almas was all set to take on Rey Mysterio in a dream match for the US Championship, while Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose would be challenging against Asuka for the Smackdown Women's Championship in a handicap match. As for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles, The Usos would be defending against Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev, while also having one eye on the tag tournament finals. And for the WWE Championship, Mustafa Ali, Kevin Owens, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton and Samoa Joe would all be locked in the chamber with The New Daniel Bryan.

Meanwhile, Josh and Cassie had their own matches to worry about. Cassie would be facing Jessica in a No Holds Barred match while Josh and Jeff had to deal with Ricochet and Aleister Black in the finals of the tag title tournament, provided they beat The Bar tonight on Smackdown Live. The happy couple arrived at the arena in Josh's Bugatti and after posing with fans for a couple of photos, quickly made their way to their locker room.

Josh: The way I see it, tonight's gonna be mega. If me and Jeff win, we're going to the finals!

Cassie: And for me, tonight's my chance to get revenge on that piece of crap I used to call my best friend... I promise to you babe, that by the end of tonight, Jessica is going through a table.

Josh: Wow! Big promise! And another bonus is that we don't have a Mixed Match Challenge match tonight, but we do next week!

Cassie: Oh yeah, who are we facing?

Josh: I think it's Mella and Truth.

Cassie: Well, there'll be one heck of a dance break!

Josh: I look forward to it!

After getting ready and having a quick makeout session, it was time for Josh and Jeff's match against The Bar. The two met Jeff at gorilla, where he was ready and waiting.

Jeff: Hey, guys! You ready, Josh?

Josh: Yep, Sheamus is gonna regret hitting me with that Brogue Kick...

Cassie: Well, good luck, boys!

She gave her loving boyfriend a kiss on the cheek for good luck before the two of them made their entrance. As Sheamus and Cesaro did their entrance, Josh had to be held back from attacking them by Jeff as he was furious as to what Sheamus had done the previous week. The bell then rang, and Josh wasted no time going straight after Sheamus with lefts, rights, and dropkicks everywhere you looked. After hitting a quick Poetry In Motion, Josh took care of Cesaro by hitting the First Spark off the apron, allowing Jeff to go for the Swanton Bomb. As Jeff took off, Josh made the tag again and climbed up and then hit Creation Of Energy on the Celtic Warrior.

Ref: 1... 2... 3!

As Josh and Jeff soaked up the plaudits from the crowd, Ricochet and Aleister Black then made their presence known by heading down to the ring and then engaging in a tense face off with Josh and Jeff. They then stuck their hands out and while Jeff shook them straight away, Josh was a little more hesitant before eventually doing the same thing.

Josh: May the best team win.

As they made their way back to the locker room, Cassie saw her man coming back and ran to him and cuddled him.

Cassie: I'm so happy for you babe!

Josh: Well, the job's not done yet, still have Sunday to go...

Cassie: Well, I believe in you. I always will.

After grabbing a bite to eat in catering, Cassie's contract signing for her match with Jessica was next. After she had made her entrance, hi-fiving some of the crowd along the way, Jessica then made her way to the ring, to a loud chorus of boos. As she sat down, Hunter then made an important announcement concerning the match.

Hunter: Now, ladies, this situation between you two will come to an end at Elimination Chamber, one way or another. And with regards to that match, the Smackdown Women's Champion, Asuka, as well as Sonya and Mandy, you should be paying attention too. Because I am here to announce that the winner of this match will be facing the winner of your match at Wrestlemania.

After Hunter dropped the bombshell, Cassie then took the mic in her hand.

Cassie: Jess, Jess, Jess... By the time I have you beaten on that mat, you'll be begging for mercy, and wishing you never did what you did at the Royal Rumble.

Jessica: Oh really? Cos, the way I see it, you still haven't got over the fact that I have ALWAYS been the better woman!

Cassie: Oh, please. The only thing you could be better than me at is a sleeping-with-the-roster contest.

Jessica was gobsmacked by Cassie's remark.

Jessica: Well, I mean, I guess I could sleep with Josh. After all...

Cassie had heard enough. She got up and smacked Jessica in the face so hard not only did it leave a red handprint on Jessica's face, but it was stinging her like hell.

Cassie: Keep my boyfriend's name out of your dirty mouth, you whore! Yeah, that's right! You heard me. You seriously think I didn't know about all the men you've been with when we were a team? Dolph, Shelton, Drew, Baron, Elias... And that's just when we were on the main roster! Don't even get me started when we were in NXT! You did nothing but sleep your way to the main roster with me!

Jessica then signed the contract without any hesitation, and tried to leave, but Cassie didn't let her. Cassie grabbed her arm, then her other one and hit the First Spark backbreaker. But Cassie wasn't done yet. She then pulled up Jessica's limp body and then hit her fisherman's suplex through the table which was set up. As Jess writhed around in pain, Cassie grabbed the contract, and signed it, making their No Holds Barred match at the Chamber official.

Cassie: Try and sleep your way outta this one, bitch!

Cassie then left the ring with Hunter looking on, and Jessica left laying. When Cassie got backstage, Josh and Leah were the first ones to see her, and they both had pure shock written on their faces.

Cassie: What?

Leah: Girl, I know Jess went off script last week, but tonight, you absolutely tore her apart!

Josh: Especially when she mentioned me!

Cassie: What can I say? She was gonna try and disrespect me and my man, something nobody had better do!

Just as the three shared a group hug, Hunter arrived backstage, contract in hand, and he applauded Cassie's efforts out in the ring.

Hunter: That... was pure gold. You took the word personal to a whole new level and beyond tonight! Now, I have some news.

Cassie: Good or bad?

Hunter: All good, don't worry. Firstly, we have you booked to win this Sunday at the Chamber, feel free to do what you like to Jess.

Cassie had a look of pure joy on her face.

Hunter: And secondly, because you will be winning the match this Sunday, you'll not only be in the match for the Smackdown Women's Championship... you'll be winning it. Asuka has said she needs time off for personal commitments after Wrestlemania, so we've planned for her to drop the title to you.

All three of them were in total disbelief.

Josh: Holy crap, Hunter! Are you serious?

Hunter: Dead serious. We've seen how well Cassie can perform in a tag team, so now it's time to see what you're really like, not only as a singles competitor, but also as a champion.

Josh and Leah looked at Cassie who was getting a bit emotional about the whole thing. She cuddled Josh and nuzzled her head into his shoulder.

Josh: Cass, you okay, babe?

Cassie: I'm fine, I... I just don't know what to say... this is gonna be a dream come true for me. Hunter, I... I can't thank you enough!

Hunter: No need to thank me. You've earned it. By the way, Josh, you and Jeff will also be winning this Sunday, as well as winning the tag titles at Mania, as the Usos are going to Raw in the Superstar Shake-Up.

Josh: Wow... thanks for that, Hunter, I appreciate it. I'll let Jeff know.

Hunter: No problem. Now you guys go and enjoy what's left of the night, and I'll see you on Sunday.

As Hunter left, Leah grabbed one of Cassie and Josh's hands each and held them.

Leah: Well, that's awesome news for you guys!

Cassie: I know, right?! How about your plans this Wrestlemania season, Leah?

Leah: Well, I'm in the Women's Battle Royal for Mania's pre-show, but besides that, nothing...

Cassie: Well, after Mania, that's all changing cos... well, don't tell anyone, but I plan to hold an open challenge for the title on the Smackdown after Mania, and I want you to answer it.

Leah: Awesome, that'd be amazing!

The two then hugged, unaware that Josh was still there.

Josh: Ahem...

The two then pulled away, and Leah said her goodbyes.

Leah: Anyway, I've gotta go now, gotta try and find Truth...

Josh: Good luck with that! See you soon!

Leah: Later!

As she left, Josh and Cassie held hands as they got dressed and headed back to their apartment.

Josh: So... Smackdown Women's Champion, huh?

Cassie: I know! I can't put into words how I'm feeling right now! And I'm happy you and Jeff are gonna be winning those tag titles too!

Josh: Yeah, I'm the same! Gonna be a heck of a Wrestlemania this year, having our own Wrestlemania moments!

Cassie: Can't wait... My first Mania, and it's a title match... I'm definitely gonna get my whole family tickets!

Josh: Me too, my little sister will be itching to see me live!

Cassie: So will my brother! And... well, speaking of families, there's been something on my mind for a few days now...

Josh: Well, let's hear it...

Cassie: It's just... when do you think is best for me to meet your parents? After all, I've heard you talking so much about them, and you never stopped writing about them in the letters you sent me!

Josh: Hmm... that's a good question. Well, funnily enough, this Friday is my sister's birthday, and since she's turning 18, we're having a party for her. Did you fancy coming?

Cassie: Hey, when I hear the words 'birthday' and 'party' in the same sentence, how can I resist an offer like that? Of course I'll come!

Josh: In that case, you should be made aware of a few things. Firstly, there's my little sister herself, Louise. She'll probably go mad when she sees you cos you're one of her favourite wrestlers.

Cassie: I'm sure she'll be fine!

Josh: Then there's my mum, Susie. She won't stop talking to someone new, so if she starts with you, try and keep it short.

Cassie: Okayyy... anything else?

Josh: Just the dog, Buster. If you're not careful, he'll fall asleep on you and won't move for the best part of 4 hours, so best not stick to one place. Other than that, my family are perfectly normal.

Cassie: Well, I'm sure that Buster would love to meet Sheriff and Marshall... we'll have to arrange something for both our families one day!

Josh: That'd be awesome!

As the pair drove home, Cassie was thinking and daydreaming of what her dream life would be like in the future... married to Josh, having babies and raising them, playing with the pets and growing old together. By the time they arrived back at Josh's apartment, Cassie was now asleep, so Josh did his best not to wake her. He gently got out of the car, then carefully got Cassie out and carried her bridal style to the elevator, and when the door shut, she began to wake up.

Cassie: J-Josh?

Josh: Shh... just take it easy, you need some rest after what you did tonight. I'm proud of you for sticking up for me like that!

Cassie just yawned and smiled in reply as she nuzzled her head into Josh's shoulder and eventually got to the apartment. Josh laid his sleeping beauty to rest in his bedroom, to let her get some sleep, while he got a drink and looked out of the window of his apartment, overlooking New York. He quietly spoke to himself while taking a sip.

Josh: I wonder... All this talk about families has got me thinking... I wonder how good it would be for me and Cassie to raise a family. She'd definitely make an amazing mum...

Little did Josh know, Cassie had sneaked out of bed and looked at Josh by peeping through the door and when she had overheard what he had said, she couldn't help but smile and whisper to herself.

Cassie: And you'd make an amazing dad... One day, it'll happen, I know it!
