Ch. 1 | A Day In The Life Of Jake Moon

Lets backtrack a few months before everything was fucked up. Life was perfect for our protagonist. Let's go ahead and check up on him. I bet he's happy right now!

. . . . .

It was a nice early morning in New York City. A young man with cyan blue hair was just walking down the hallways of his school. His name is Jake Moon.

He was just going out and minding his own business. He wasn't super popular, but everyone still knew him. But it wasn't for a good reason.

Jake had a bit of a strange reputation going around. A rumor has been spread about him that he has been sleeping around with the popular girl. Of course that wasn't true, but that still didn't stop people from judging him.

As he was at his locker getting something, someone was walking up to him with an evil smirk on their face. It was a young woman with bluish purple hair with a cyan streak in it and dark blue eyes. Her name is Natalie Heartstrings.

"Hey, Jakey-Boo!" Natalie said, looking at him with a smirk on her face. "How have you been lately?"

"Shitty." Jake said.

"Well then. . . perhaps I could treat you to a special night." Natalie said. "And by special, I mean-"

"Yeah, I get it." Jake said, slamming his locker shut. "Don't you have a boyfriend?"

"Are you talking about Chad?" Natalie asked. "It's okay. He's fine with me messing around."

"That's not the issue." Jake scoffed.

"Oh, come on!" Natalie whined. "How could not want to fuck a body this good?"

"We're still in high school, Natalie." Jake said. "It's too early for that."

"That's not what Chad thinks." Natalie said.

"Then go sex up Chad." Jake said, turning to walk away.

But Natalie wasn't going to have it. She stomped up to Jake and forcefully grabbed his arm.

"You can't leave me alone again!" Natalie said angrily. "I have needs, too! Ans you're the only one I want to fulfill them!"

"Get off of me!" Jake said, forcing him arm out of Natalie's grasp.

When Jake broke out of the grasp, Natalie fell forwards on her stomach onto the floor.

Jake just scoffed as he walked away.

"Fine. . . be that way." Natalie said, getting back up and brushing herself off.

. . . .

Later after school, Jake was walking home with his sister, Makayla.

"Seriously?" Makayla said, sounding annoyed. "That bitch just doesn't know when to quit, does she?"

"I'm afraid not." Jake said with a sigh.

"You should get a restraining order on her or something." Makayla said.

"We go to the same school." Jake said. "I don't think that would work."

"Well, you have to do something about her." Makayla said. "She won't stop, otherwise."

"I'll be fine." Jake said.

"Maybe getting a girlfriend will stop her from flirting with you." Makayla said.

"I already told you that I'm not interested in that." Jake said. "Besides, who'd want to date me?"

"I'm sure lots of girls would." Makayla said. "You're a good-looking guy, bro. Don't doubt yourself."

Jake just sighed as he didn't say anything else the whole way back home.

. . . .

When he got home, Jake looked at his phone and saw that there were a lot of text messages left by none other than Natalie. (Even though she shouldn't have his number)

"Hey, Jakey-boo! It's me! Where did you go? I didn't see you after school!"

"Jakey-boo! Why don't you answer your phone?"

"I swear to God you better answer! I'm not playing around!"

"Sorry, Jakey-Boo. That was uncalled for. Please, please, please, please call me back! Love you!"

Jake just sighed as he put his phone down. He goes through this every single day and it honestly sucked.

_______

Okay. . . I know I said that our protagonist was happy. Well, that was a lie. His life sucked even before the whole killing thing. I bet you're thinking that it can't possibly be any worse than this. Well, hold on to your panties and buckle up, buttercup. Cause it's gonna get wild.

To be continued. . .
