Goofy was at his locker where he worked as he sadly got his hat. He then looked at the pictures he had of Max until he got to one where he was little, ready to play "Catch".

"Let's play ball, Dad," it seemed to say.

"Max," Goofy mumbled sadly.

He went to his station and started building toy robots. When he assembled one, he saw the head transform into Max's face.

"Hiya, Dad," it said.

"Maxie," Goofy smiled and hugged it.

"Mr. Goof! An assembly line is for assembling. Stop daydreaming and get back to work... or else!" his boss threatened over the intercom and camera.

Goofy accidentally broke the toy and when he went to pick it up, he changed the settings on the conveyer belt from "Normal" to "Fast". Goofy couldn't keep up with it and when he tried to press the "Stop" button, he instead hit the "Reverse" button. When he thought he fixed it, he was sent toward the device that let the toys out and was sucked right in. He was sent to the main machine, which started to overload, exploded, and sent him flying. He crashed through the ceiling and into some boxes. His boss came up to him, as angry as ever, and got one of the robot heads on the end of his cane.

"Goofy! I warned you! You're fired!" he yelled.

The security guards dragged Goofy out of the building. What was he supposed to do now?
