Max was in his dorm room, pacing back and forth. He was getting nervous because he wanted to ask Jamie to this dance that was happening that night. He took a deep breath, left his dorm, walked to Jamie's and Mocha's, then knocked on the door. Mocha answered it.

"Hey Max. What's up?" she asked.

"Oh. Hey, Mocha. I was just wondering if Jamie was in," he answered.

"Yeah. Hold on. I'll go get her," she said.

Mocha left and spotted Jamie on her bed, watching TV.

"Jamie, someone's at the door for you," Mocha replied.

"Okay," Jamie responded.

She got off the bed and walked to the door to see Max, looking a little nervous.

"Hey, Max," Jamie greeted.

"Hi, Jamie," Max said, rubbed the back of his neck nervously, then replied, "Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah. What is it?" Jamie wondered.

"W-Well, I was wondering if you...uh, wanted to go with me to the...party tonight. I mean, we'll be hanging out with PJ and Bobby and all, but I wanted to know if you'd still like to go. With me," Max explained.

She started to smile so big and hugged his neck as she answered, "Yes! I'd love to."

He hugged back, so happy that she said yes. When they parted, she kissed his cheek, which made them both blush.

"Well, I'll see you tonight," Max said.

"Yes, you will," Jamie responded and shut the door.

Then she started jumping up and down and squealing as Mocha came around the corner.

"He asked you out?" she asked.

"YES!" Jamie shouted.

"Well, I think I have the perfect outfit for you," Mocha smirked.

She led her to their bedroom and got to work.
