Wu sat in the center of his meditation room, trying to calm his nerves. It has been a week since his brother had escaped through a vortex. To add onto the worry, Lord Garmadon's pupil was nowhere to be found.

In the past week Ninjago has had nothing but peace. Though, the fact that nothing has happened yet is causing the Sensei to become more anxious for the future.

Then, the sound of the ninja training caused Wu to snap out of his worried state. He stood from his spot and walked to the training course.

Opening the doors, Wu was surprised to see no one was there. Yet, the ninja still continued to yell and gloat.

He let out a sigh, following the voices of the ninja. Opening the doors to a new room. There he found the ninja, playing games.

Sensei Wu walked over to the cord, unplugging it from the wall. The ninja complained, annoyed by their Sensei's action.

"That took us three hours!" Cole yelled, slamming his back to the floor to be dramatic. "Why would you do that, why?" "Just because Lord Garmadon escaped through a vortex does not give you the excuse to be lazy!" Wu shouted.

"Sensei, ever since Garmadon vanished Ninjago has been at peace." Zane added. "And peace is boring." Jay groaned. "We'll train tomorrow." Kai shrugged, not being worried of the Lord's return.

"Never put off tomorrow what can be done today." Sensei Wu stated, looking at the four. "Lord Garmadon could be back for the golden weapons at any moment, and at that his pupil could be plotting to take them as well."

"Don't even mention him, when I see him again he's going down." Kai hissed, angered by even the thought of the mysterious person. "Do not let anger consume you." Wu said, shaking his head in disapproval.

"Guys it's Lord Garmadon!" Nya yelled, with a shaky voice. "He's returned and was spotted at Jamanakia Village." That sentence caused the ninja to panic, running out to get their dragons and face the Dark Lord.

(Y/n) let out an annoyed sigh, having it been a week and no sign of the boy. The closest she's been was that school, but they had told her he was kicked out.

Looking around, Ninjago has changed a lot in her absence. Not that she cared, after she completes her mission she goes home. Back home, where it isn't so bright that it's blinding, where everything is familiar to her, where she can forget about the past.

Suddenly she felt someone slighly brush against her. Quickly she turned around and grabbed onto the person's hand. "Fast reflexes, sweetheart." The man said, wincing at how hard the girl grabbed him. (Y/n) only glared at the man, her grip on him tightening.

"State your purpose, what do you want of me?" She hissed, pushing him against the wall. "Ya know, it's usually the men who has the girl in this position, but I ain't complaining." (Y/n) continued to glare, putting more pressure to his throat.

"Okay okay okay, I usually come here to pickpocket, people here don't really put much of a fight." She let go of the man, letting him fall onto the floor. "I have nothing to offer you." She stated, looking down at him.

"What you're wearing says otherwise." He coughed, pointing at the girl's clothing. "And why would you be at a market place if you aren't going to buy anything?"

(Y/n) took out the photo of Lloyd, showing the stranger. "I am looking for this child, have you seen him?" "Nothing comes for free, sweetie, you gotta give me something worth giving information." He said, leaning against the wall.

A dagger appeared in the hand of (Y/n), stroking the blade part. "How is living to see another day sound?" She asked, pointing the blade towards his neck. His eyes widened, as he tried backing up as much as he could.

"I saw him a couple minutes ago, threatening people with snakes." The dagger disappeared from (Y/n)'s hand, as she used her other hand to pat the man on the head as a sort of thank you.

She pulled the hood over her head, walking around the village, having hope in finding the boy.

"So, what do we do with the kid?" Cole asked, picking up the child from his hood. "Ugh! Release me now!" He yelled, kicking his feet as an attempt to escape. "Let me go!"

With those words said, (Y/n) ran towards the group, kicking Cole in the stomach. Doing so caused Cole to let go of the boy and have him land in (Y/n)'s arms. "Woah!" Lloyd yelled in surprise.

"You!" Kai yelled with rage. (Y/n) only rolled her eyes, running past the angered ninja before he could throw a punch at her. She then ran up the wall and continued to run to safety, with Lloyd in her arms.

"Come back and fight me you coward!" "Kai, it is unwise to try and challenge them." Zane stated, stopping Kai from chasing after the mysterious person. "Yea dude, last time we found you out cold." Jay snickered, helping Cole to his feet.

"Whatever." Kai hissed, swatting Zane's hand away from him, walking towards his dragon.

While trying to climb on top of his dragon, Kai knocked down a scroll from his bag. "Huh, I didn't put that there." Zane picks up the scroll, looking it over. "It is most likely Sensei's, you must have gotten the wrong bag."

Jay looked over Zane's shoulder, trying to read the scroll. "Its written in chicken scratch." "No, not chicken scratch, it's written in the ancient language of our ancestors." Zane corrected.

"Can you read it?" Cole asked. "I could try." Zane looks over the scroll again. "One ninja will rise above the rest and become the green ninja, the ninja destined to beat the dark lord." He paused for a bit before closing the scroll. "I am unable to read the rest."

"Anyone thinking what I'm thinking?" "Yeah, like how good I'm going to look in green." Jay gloated. "No way, the color suits me better." Kai said, rolling his eyes. "Technically I am the best." Zane cut in.

"Everyone stop, we're a team, we weren't meant to see this, probably for a good reason too." Cole said, taking the scroll. "Come on, let's go to the Monastery and train."

"Stupid ninja, stupid village, we'll see who has the last laugh." The young boy hissed, kicking a rock through the snow. Lloyd turns to the person who saved him, crossing his arms. "Also who are you, how do you know me?"

The person bows, causing Lloyd to become confused. "I am (Y/n), Lord Garmadon has sent me to protect you, whatever it is that you require I will retrieve." "You sound like a girl." Lloyd stated, taking off the hood to see she was indeed a girl.

"You sound like a boy." She said back, standing up straight. "Where are we heading, Master Lloyd?" "I thought you were leading.." He sheepishly answered.

"I am not familiar with this realm, last I was here I was with Samukai trying to get an old man to build weaponry, I believe that happened a year ago, but that's besides the point." Lloyd kicks another rock, hearing it hit something hard. He walks over to the harden floor, wiping away the snow. Looking to his right to see a lever and on instinct he pulls it.

The ground began to open, causing (Y/n) to pull Lloyd back. "Are you alright?" He shakingly nods his head.

"Woah!" He says, looking down the tomb in amazement. "Let's go in!" Lloyd yelled, jumping into the tomb before (Y/n) could react.

(Y/n) jumped in as well, using the walls to slide down the tomb. Lloyd on the other hand immediately fell face first. "Master are you alright?" (Y/n) asked worriedly. "I-I'm fine." He stuttered, getting up from the floor.

Lloyd walked around, Looking at the icy walls that looked as if they were mirrors. "You are out of your mind to venture far from home." Lloyd immediately went to hide behind (Y/n) as a large serpent slithered towards them.

(Y/n) backed away, holding Lloyd behind her. She hears a rattle and immediately looks around for some sort of way out. "Look into my eyess, give up your mind."

When she found a solution, (Y/n) held Lloyd in her arms and ducked, causing the serpent to look into the icy reflection.

Opening her eyes again she saw the serpent in a trance. "Cool!" Lloyd waved a hand in front of the serpents eyes. "He is hypnotized, you are able to control him." "Yeah! I control you now."

"What shall you have uss do massster?" The snake asked, bowing to the boy. "Us?" Just then, more Serpentine began to walk towards the pair. Lloyd held onto (Y/n)'s cape, in fear of the serpents attacking

___Timeskip

The village people ran and screamed in fear, catching a certain girl's attention. "What is it now?" She asked, turning to see Lloyd, the mysterious person, and the Serpentine.

"Take the candy!" Lloyd commanded, causing Nya to back away, seeing the people get hypnotized.

"Request me to do anything?" (Y/n) asked the small child. "Just stay next to me, man am I glad I ran into you!" Lloyd stated in excitement. "You did not run into me, you were thrown and I had caught you." "It's a metaphor.."

Just then the four ninja jump in front of the pair, causing Lloyd to hide behind (Y/n). "Attack!" He commanded, the Serpentine readying for battle.

"They're real?!" Kai yelled in surprise, backing away and glaring daggers at (Y/n). She watches as the ninja get cornered by the village people, having no choice but to retreat.

Only minutes later did the ninja come back out to fight off the Serpentine while avioding the village people. The ninja came to the conclusion that the venom in the staff would be the cure to free the village people of being hypnotized (Y/n) follows behind Lloyd, as he pulls the wagon filled with candy.

In the corner of her eye (Y/n) saw Zane getting ready to throw his shurikens. (Y/n) kicked up a wooden plank near by her, causing the shurikens to get stuck onto it.

"RETREAT!" Lloyd yelled, the Serpentine slithering away from the scene. (Y/n) ripped the shurikens from the plank, looking back up at Zane.

The two only stared at eachother, not knowing who would make the first move. Zane slowly inched closer, as (Y/n) stood ready for a fight. "Who are you?" He asked.

(Y/n) tilted her head, she is the enemy, someone that could take him down in a matter of seconds, why is he trying to ask her questions.

"Zane what are you doing, take him down!" Kai ran past Zane, taking his sword out and pointing it towards (Y/n)'s neck, causing her to drop three shurikens.

Of course it was a trap she so foolishly fallen into. The enemy could care less, why would she think otherwise.

(Y/n) kicked up the sowrd, knocking it out of his hand then throwing him out the way as the sword landed in her hand.

"One of the golden weapons." She muttered to herself, taking the time to see how beautiful it truly was. This time she could take the weapon without any trouble. With the weapon in her hand she turns and leaves, leaving a trail of voilet smoke behind her.

Kai growled lowly, very much annoyed that he once again got beaten by this caped stranger, and also gotten his weapon stolen.

Zane pulled Kai up from the ground. "Why didn't you do anything!" He yelled at the master of ice. "I did not sense any form of danger from them." He quickly answered, backing away from the angered ninja.

"Calm down Kai, we'll get your golden weapon back." Cole stated. "Calm down? You wouldn't be so calm if you got your weapon stolen!" He hissed.

"Do not let your anger control you." Zane said, only annoying the ninja further. "Whatever."

"General why musst we take orderss from a child and hiss guardian?" Skales, the General's right hand man, asked.

Skales looked at the boy and girl, seeing as she tried to stop him from eating more candy. "They freed uss." General Slithraa answered. "We are taking orderss from a child, he is not even one of uss."

"I may not have my sstaff but I am sstill your General, you besst know your place." He hissed, slithering away from his right hand man.

Skales only glared at his General, walking away only to be stopped by another snake. "You coward, we all know he iss under their command, yet you do nothing." Skales only pushed the serpent away from him, glaring at him. "Now iss not the time to sstrike, we musst wait for the perfect moment."

"As my second order of ruling over the Serpentine, I say we get out of this cold place and go somewhere warmer." Lloyd declared. "Let's make a treehouse!" He excitedly said.
