"And this one?" The young girl asked, placing a white colored flower in his boney hand. "Purity, innocence, I think it could also mean a new beginning." Kruncha answered, as he watched the young girl take the flower away and place it in one of the cracks in Nuckal's skull. "Pure skeleton." She cooed, patting his head. "Is it just me, or is our little kin a lot happier these days?" He asked, poking the girl's cheek, only to receive a small playful growl.

"Nuckal's right, you usually hate coming to the Ninjago realm, what changed your mind?" "The flowers." She answered, turning to them and smiling brightly. "This means love?" She asked, holding the red flowers. "Yeah, good job." She giggled, before placing a yellowish flower on his hand. "This one?" "This is a buttercup flower, which pretty much sums up what you are." Kruncha stated. "Humble, neat, and childish." He pinched her cheeks, which made her laugh.

"What do you mean, our kin is anything but neat, she's always dirty. Look! She's dirty right now!" Nuckal laughed, but quickly went happily silent as she place the buttercup flower on his collarbone. "Pretty." She chirped.

A shadow grew from the darkness, causing the two skeletons to stand straight. (Y/n) turned, smiling brightly. "Hi!" The shadow only looked behind her. "Why is she here?" He asked, pure venom in his voice. "She's human." Was all Kruncha muttered out. "Humans need light to properly function. Right? So we're giving her sun, which is funny cuz we're teaching her about flowers and flowers need sun too." Nuckal finished, hoping this doesn't get her into any sort of trouble.

She wasn't scared like the majority of the time she was near the shadow man, which was concerning. She happily walked up to the shadow, handing him seven red roses. "For my lord." She chirped, the shadow taking the flowers. She didn't falter in the slightest when the roses immediately withered in his hand. Her face turned bright and warm, as the shadow moved her hair to the side. He placed a different kind of yellow flower into her hair, before turning back to the generals. "Once you finish whatever you are doing, come back immediately." The shadow vanished.

"Didn't hit me!" She happily cheered, adjusting the flower in her hair. "Childish..." She muttered. "Ah, kin no, the flower he gave you means something else." Nuckal said, giving her a comforting smile. "He sort of answered the message of your flowers, you know?"

"He just politely rejected your offering." Kruncha added, patting her head. "Oh, okay." She nodded, taking the flower away from her hair. "Stupid flower." Her eyes glowed as she made the flower decay, skipping over to the two, she grabbed a hold of there boney hands. "Home, now."

It went by so quick, Kai pulled out his sword, and the next moment he was on the ground. The rest of the ninja were about to attack, but were interrupted by their Sensei. "That is enough!" He yelled, going over to help Kai up. "He was the reason I left in the first place, as long as the Serpentine have Lloyd, he shall be treated with the respect of a guest."

While the ninja complained, Garmadon walked over to his pupil, harshly grabbing her face and tilting it to the side. "This one is new." He stated, referring to the healing scar on her neck. "I needed to damage my body to achieve something." That something being Lloyd, but she didn't want to mention him, she was too afraid to.

He pushed the strands of hair out of her face, before placing the flower behind her ear. "There's been a change of plans, dear." He whispered his changed plan into her ear, causing her whole body to tighten. "Well then, brother, lead the way to my chamber." The sudden, louder voice of his, made her flinch. Wu went to guide his brother to his room.

"Hey, you okay?" Cole asked, placing a hand on her shoulder. She bit her lip harshly, holding her breath. Her silence made him worry for her more, but was short lived once she pushed him away from her. Pulling her mask to cover her mouth and her hood to cover the rest of her face, she left.

"What was that about, what did you tell her?" Jay chuckled nervously, helping his friend up. "Does it matter what he said, she's a walking time bomb, that goes for Garmadon too." Kai hissed crossing his arms. Nya smacked the back of her brother's head, glaring at him. "You're one to talk, big brother."

After showing Garmadon his room, and explaining to Wu everything he had missed, they all met up in the bridge to catch up. "Where are we on with the four Fangblades?" Their master asked. "Pythor has managed to obtain two..." Jay muttered, scratching the back of his head. "But we only need one to stop the Serpentine, we still have a chance." Cole quickly added, as not to be scolded. "Has there been any information on their whereabouts?" Their master asked, getting a negative response. "I have programed my falcon to alert us on any suspicious activity."

"Good, we find the Serpentine, we find the fangblades." Wu stated. "And my son, something that shouldn't have been needed to retrieve in the first place." (Y/n) keeps her gaze to the floor, her body tightening as she feels the glaring daggers directed towards her. "Who's hungry, I sure am, (Y/n) let's go eat." Nya grabbed a hold of the girl's arm, dragging her into the dining room, where Jay's mother left delicious food.

"Wow Mrs. Walker, you've out done yourself." Cole complimented, getting a smile from the older woman. "I know a thing or two on how to cook, if you like I could-" "NO!" His teammates protested, getting the ninja to sit down with a pout.

Garmadon sat beside his pupil, whether she was uncomfortable or not, wasn't shown, as she hid her face from everyone. "Well then, dig in, there's enough for everyone to have seconds." Edna cooed, making a plate for Jay. "Mom, I can get my own food." He complained. "(Y/n), dearie, go ahead and eat, I even made some of your favorite desserts." The girl stared at the food, the aroma making her stomach lightly growl. "Forgive me, but I am not hungry at the moment."

It was a very obvious lie, or at least the older woman knew it was a lie. "How about just a small bite, that couldn't hurt you." (Y/n) shook her head. "This would be the perfect opportunity to see if you've gotten soft, brother, show me to your training room!" Garmadon exclaimed, holding tightly onto the girl's wrist as he dragged her to follow his brothed. "Ah, before I do that, Nya, Kai, prepare the deck and double check the anchor." Both siblings nodded, Nya immediately getting up, and Kai taking in two more bites of his food before going.

"Ugh, can't believe we have to be respectful towards him." Kai groaned, grabbing a random broom and sweeping the deck. "Well, it won't be that hard to be respectful, you always faked respect with our old babysitter, just do that here." Nya shrugged, raising the sails. "Besides, you have to remember Garmadon isn't just any normal villain, he's Sensei's brother." She turned to Kai, giving a small smile. "A brother who used to have a kind heart, it isn't his fault he's evil, and even so, (Y/n) said he isn't always so cruel."

"That's it!" Kai exclaimed, throwing the broom down. "What?" "Unlocking my true potential, maybe if I stand up to Lord Garmadon I'll get my powers and everyone will see I'm the green ninja!" "The green what?" Nya was lost, as she stared at her older brother in confusion. "No time to explain, gotta train and be at the top of my game." His sister let out a sigh of annoyance as he ran off.

Cole, Jay, and Zane sat, awkwardly playing with there meal. "So... how's the food?" It was a dumb question to ask, food doesn't taste all that great when the mood is spoiled. "Guess I'll be going..." Edna frowned, and before her son could leave, she grabbed him. "Jay dear, could you bring this to (Y/n), I know for a fact she hasn't eaten, thank you son." He had no room to argue, she was already gone.

"(Y/n) is with Garmadon training, how am I supposed to give this to her, what if he starts attacking me!?" While Jay freaked out, Cole took the plate. "I'll give it to her." Was all he said as he made his way to where they all trained. As Cole walked, he couldn't help but feel something wrong.

The more he thought about her, the worse the feeling got. When he asked, she said Garmadon hurt her both physically and mentally. From that only, she should know what Garmadon is doing is wrong, right? She understands being tortured by her teacher is wrong, right?

"What?" Garmadon's voice snapped him back into reality. "Just came to drop off food, didn't see either of you eat, so..." Cole felt a bit awkward, he didn't know exactly what to do now. "As stated before, she isn't hungry, and I've eaten." "Well, she hasn't, she needs to eat." He snapped, glaring at him.

The Dark Lord smirked down at him, ruffling his hair. "You teens, so serious about every little thing." That was a complete one eighty to his previous attitude. Garmadon took the plate, as Cole put his hair back in place. "You almost seem worried, as if you're scared I'm hurting her." He froze, quickly looking back at the older man. "The meal is greatly appreciated." The door closed, leaving Cole filled with uncertainty and worry.

(Y/n) unwrapped the bandages around her hands, having slight trouble as she kept twitching. Letting out a sigh, she threw the bandages to the floor. Nya barged into the room, getting the girl to straighten up by reflex. "We're all at the bridge, Zane's falcon spotted something." (Y/n) nodded, slowly getting up, wincing at the pain that shot through her body.

Both girls entered into the control room, walking in the middle of an argument. "If memory serves correct, I'd say one of us cheated back when we last fought." "And I remember someone needing there Sensei." The argument was childish, but (Y/n) wouldn't say that out loud.

"It appears the temple has gotten more unstable since last we came." Zane stated. "Hmm, that means you all will need to tread lightly, and not use your powers, as it will cause it to become more dangerous." Wu said, walking to his pupils. "All of you will need to wear these."

Wu gave his ninja a bracelet, fully black with a glowing yellow to it. "How's this supposed to help with A LITERAL ERUPTING VOLCANO!?" Jay yelled, immediately going into panic mode. "Since none of you are fully able to control your powers, these bracelets disable them, think of it as a safety precaution." Kai scoffed, begrudgingly putting on the bracelet.

"This also means you'll be unable to activate your golden weapons, but again, this is all a safety precaution." Wu said again, trying to emphasize how important it is to keep the bracelets on. "Speaking of which, where are our weapons?" Cole asked, causing Kai to look around. "And why's Lord Garmadon not here?" "Kai, Wait!"

The two girls stayed as the rest went to follow Kai. "Nya?" "Yeah?" (Y/n) stared at the volcano, feeling her heart beating fast. "Do you think my assistance will be required?" "Honestly, yeah, I don't know how, but the boys always seem to mess things up in the end." She snickered, grabbing a hold of her hand. "When you're with them you always get things done."

She said that as a compliment, but it made the girl grow more worried. "Come on, let's go before that idiotic brother of mine does something stupid." (Y/n) forced a smile as she followed the Samurai.

When they entered the room, Garmadon was on the floor as Kai jumped around gloating. "I did it! Am I glowing, did I get my powers, is this my full potential?" (Y/n) glared at Kai, pushing him away from her Lord as she helped him up. "He allowed himself to be deafted." (Y/n) said. "It may be best you not reach your true potential, or else someone could get hurt." Wu stated.

The ship came to a sudden stop which caused (Y/n) to lose a bit control over her breathing. "Looks like we reached our destination." The group walks up to the upper deck, looking over the volcano. "Will you be joining us, (Y/n)?" Zane asked. The girl made no movement until she felt her Lord's hand on her shoulder, which caused her to instinctively nod.

Nya stayed on board with Jay's parents, while the rest went to retrieve the fangblade. "Do I really need to wear this stupid bracelet, I mean I'm the only one without powers, soo..." Kai trailed off, proceeding to take off the bracelet, only to have it put back on by (Y/n).

"It is a safety precaution, keep it on." She hissed, glaring at the ninja. Kai snatched his hand away from her, glaring back. "What's up with you? You know what, nevermind, I don't care." He walked away from the girl, not giving it a second thought.

They entered the temple, watching as Pythor pushed another serpent out of the way to get the fangblade. He admired the shiny blade, catching the ninja reflecting in it. He turned around pointing the blade at the group. "ATTACK!"

While the rest went to retrieve the fangblade and Garmadon went towards Lloyd, the girl froze. She really wasn't needed, she was only brought as a punishment. This is her punishment for being lazy. They were screaming again. The laughing started again. She covered her ears.

"This is going to take too long." Kai hissed, taking off the bracelet. The sword of fire reacted, causing the temple to shake. "Kai what are you doing?!" Jay yelled. "You're  compromising our safety!" Cole shouted. Kai only ignored them, running past a reunited son and father.

Kai threw his sword at Pythor, pinning the sword to the wall, and knocking the blade near the lava. The group, except for Kai, retreated near the exit. "(Y/n)!" Lloyd exclaimed, tightly hugging her leg, and it took every bit of her self-sontrol to not kick him away from her. "Kai, forget it, the blade isn't worth your life!" Cole shouted, trying to get the fire ninja to retreat with them.

Garmadon grabbed his son, pulling him away from the edge. "I think it's best if we retreat now, we wait any longer, then all of us will be trapped here." Garmadon said as Wu looked back worriedly at his student.

Just underneath (Y/n) the ground began to break, causing the yelling in her head to stop momentarily. She drops into a near floating rock very close to the lava. "(Y/N)!" Lloyd yelled, reaching out for her. "We need to leave." Garmadon stated again. With the help of Wu, they push the group of protesting teens and child out just in time before the exit is sealed.

'They left you.'

'Garmadon never cared.'

'You held onto an imaginary person.'

'You deserve this.'

'Feel what we felt.'

'Burn.'

'Jump.'

'Suffer like we did.'

'Cursed child.'

"Kai." She whispered, ignoring the insults, ignoring the screams, ignoring the laughter. "KAI!" "WHAT!" He yelled back, not once looking at her, his only focus being the fangblade. He was close to reaching the blade, frustratingly close.

The blade or her life.

Everything and nothing always came before she did. She doesn't have the luxury of being selfish. She doesn't have the luxury of being human. Her feelings never mattered. But...

"I don't want to die." She wants to live, wants to be selfish. She doesn't deserve it, but she wants it. "Please!  Help---Help me, I-I can't-- I hate--- please!" Kai finally looked back to see her. It shocked him, to see her broken. When he looked over to the fangblade, it had been too late, it sank into the lava. "Damnit!"

He let out a heavy sigh, using spinjitzu to make his way to the girl. Once he stepped onto the plateform where she stood, she immediately wrapped herself into him. The grip she had on him was tight, he hesitantly put an arm around her.

Taking in the surrounding, he noticed the mess he was in. "Oh man." He whispered, trying to look for a way out. The only motivation being the frightened girl holding onto him. He rubbed her back, attempting to calm her down. "Alright, think Kai, think!"

It wasn't worth it. It wasn't worth proving he could be the green ninja, that he could be the most powerful ninja. He treated this like a competition, but he only now realized that lives would be at stake, lives ARE at stake. He held her closer. "Don't worry, I'll protect you." He whispered to her, feeling warmth within himself.

Nya covered her mouth, watching the volcano erupt, everyone stared in shock. Wu looked away from the sight, not able to watch a student lose his life from wanting to be powerful.

"Was there nothing you could've done?" Nya questioned, looking at the group, her sadness turning to anger. "My brother was in there." She cried, barely holding onto her anger. "My friend was in there!" Cole glared at her but otherwise said nothing.

Mr and Mrs Walker went to comfort their son, Jay squeezing his father's hand. "(Y/n) isn't really gone, right?" Lloyd questioned, looking at his father. Garmadon showed nothing on his face, nothing to note his expression, if he was sad, happy, angry, nothing. It only further added to Cole's sadness and anger.

An explosion from the volcano caught their attention again. A red glowing orb making it's way to the bounty. Nya perked up, tears falling. "It's Kai!" The atmosphere changed again, this one being more cheerful as they landed.

Kai had lost his footing, but was able to quickly recover, making sure he didn't hurt the girl. He felt her flinch a bit, causing his hold on her to tighten. "Kai! It's really you!" She cheered, watching the two hold onto eachother, she let out a small smirk.

"What?" Kai asked, a bit suspicious of his sister's intentions. "Looks like someone made themselves cozy." She teased. Kai looked down at the girl in his arms, before pushing her away, causing her to fall back on her butt. "Kai!" Nya scolded. "I didn't do anything!" He quickly defended.

Garmadon looked down at his pupil, watching her face slowly break. "Ah, it's one of those days." He muttered to himself. "Lloyd, follow me, I need to show you something." Garmadon said, carrying his son to a far away room. "But I want to see (Y/n)!" He complained.

"(Y/n), sweetie, are you alright?" She lost her breathing, hot tears falling from her face. She let out a blood-curling scream, causing everyone to freak out. "What's wrong dear, what happened?" Mr Walker asked worriedly, softly placing a hand on her cheek, only for her to push him away and shake her head. "Kai what did you do!?" Cole yelled, grabbing the ninja by the collar of his gi. "I didn't do anything." He hissed back. "Woah, Cole calm down." Jay squeaks out, trying to get his teammates fighting.

"Stop--Please stop---I didn't mean to-- screaming--- Hot-burn-burning burning." Her vision was blurred with tears, and the lack of breathing wasn't helping. "Dear, look at me, look at me sweetie." Edna said, grabbing the girl's hands to stop her from pulling on her hair.

Her breathing calmed only slightly, her hold on the older woman tightened. "Zane, dear, if you wouldn't mind using your powers to keep her from overheating." Zane quickly cooled his body, sitting close to (Y/n) close enough for her to feel the cold, but not too close for them to be touching.

"Now, keep your eyes on me, look at me dear, you're safe now, you're alright." Edna breathes with the girl, calming her down. (Y/n) regains her breathing, placing her head onto Edna's shoulder. The woman rubbed her back, not minding the tears wetting her shirt. "You're alright dear, keep breathing, you're safe."

After a while, the woman noticed the girl had fallen asleep. "Ed, would you pick her up for me, I don't want her with a sore neck when she wakes." Her husband carries the sleeping girl, Edna moving a bit of strands of hair from her face.

"Is she going to be okay!" Nya asked, trying to see her friend. "Nya, I know you're worried, but keep your voice down." Edna scolded. "Oh, you poor girl, once you wake up you are eating." She whispered to (Y/n), giving a sad smile. "Wu, show us to her room, I'm sure she wants to sleep on something comfortable."

Wu snapped back into the present, nodding his head as he showed them to the girl's room.

Garmadon let out a loud laugh, causing the red ninja to growl. "You thought grabbing the fangblade would make you the green ninja, brother, you and your pupils are extremely idiotic." He laughed again, finding amusement in their anger. "How did you four know of the green ninja in the first place?" Wu asked, shaking his head in frustration.

"We had switched bags by accident, we found the scroll and read it." Kai answered, still glaring at Garmadon. "But now that that's out of the way, Sensei, who is the green ninja?" Wu only shook his head, looking at the four. "None of you are the green ninja."

"But Sensei, the scroll reads: one ninja shall rise above--" "Translation error on your part." Garmadon answers immediately. "What it actually says: A ninja born with the blood of the first spinjitzu master will rise and become the green ninja, destined to defeat the Dark Lord."

"So then that means..." "I'm the green ninja?" Lloyd asked, rubbing his sleepy eyes. "Lloyd, what are you doing, you should be in bed." "Does that mean I have to fight you?" He asked, looking up at his father with sad eyes. The two look at eachother with unimaginable sadness.

"This is heavy and all, but whatever happened to THE FANGBLADE!?"

Author's note

Want to start this off by saying sorry for the wait. I'm not sure if I had writer's block or I was just being extremely lazy. But the chapter is here it's done.

Second, let me explain the ending by saying:
1) this is fanfiction, obviously some of this won't be cannon to the actual show.
2) I feel like this makes more sense then Garmadon and Wu not knowing who the green ninja is, and Misako (who is just a normal human woman) immediately knows Lloyd is the green ninja.

And lastly, this is going to be multiple ending story, you can comment on whoever you want as a love interest. I will be writing an ending for all of them.
