Ink rushed home to cry to Dream about the Swap bros being brainwashed by Error.

"Dream! Dream!!! Error kidnapped Blue again!"

"What?! I haven't felt anything but positive and neutral emotions from Blue today!"

"Maybe Error has some kind of magical barrier?"

"Ink, you know that my connection to positive emotions can't be blocked by anyone except my brother, and I know if he is blocking it. Nightmare couldn't have been helping Error, I was fighting (actually out having lunch and chatting, heh.) with him. I only just got back when you came in."

"That isn't even the worst part! Stretch was PROTECTING him when I had tied him up in paint chains, and Blue FREED him!" Ink screeched.

"Chill out Ink. I'm sure they had a reason. Maybe they felt bad for him (Or, more likely, they're friends, and they didn't want their friend to get hurt)," Dream answered, while nudging his magical aura of positivity to try and cheer up Ink.

"But-"

"NO, Ink," Dream scolded.

"Ink, if you didn't know, Blue and Error are friends, so you don't need to worry about Error hurting Blue. He wouldn't dare hurt one of his only friends, okay?" Dream said.

"He's Error. I don't trust him not to-"

"Don't argue with me, Ink. (My brother and I may not be the best of friends, but we still meet up sometimes to talk about life, no fighting involved. He tells me funny stories about what's happened with him and his gang, he goes on and on about his crush, we discuss normal things.) Just because Error is the destroyer doesn't mean he can't have a life, and friends, okay?"

Ink grumbled, unable to find fault in Dream's logic.

"After all, Ink, haven't you noticed that after we battle Error, Blue always disappears? He goes to heal Error, because they're friends, and good friends don't let their friends suffer. As for why Stretch was there, I'm guessing that Blue probably managed to convince him to give Error a second chance, perhaps by explaining the reason for his destruction."

"How could he have a reason?! He's killing innocents!" Ink yelled.

"Maybe he has no choice, Ink. After all, whenever I find him with my magic while he's destroying I feel nothing but negative feelings from him... he's not happy about it," Dream said calmly.

"Fine... We still have to find Blue though!!!"

"Yes, we do. I'll look for him in his dreams later, okay? Don't worry, Blue and Stretch can take care of each other."

"Okay... I'm still worried about him though."

"It'll all be fine, Ink. I'm sure that Stretch (and Error) won't let any harm come to Blue."

"I hope you're right Dream."

Snow's POV
'I hate genocide routes. My sister and almost all of my friends are dead. Why must they choose this path so often? I just don't understand...' Snow thought to herself. 'Welp. Here they are, back again. Time to end this.'

With a growl, Snow transformed into a small, but still quite scary, Frost Fury. Her frost-tipped wings, claws, tail fin, and ears sparkled in the golden light shining through the window, and the visible bone surrounding her eye sockets gleamed eerily with its own icy coating. Her right eyelight shone bright blue with the occasional flashes of yellow and white, while her left went completely dark.

Snow was wearing the lilac bandanna that had belonged to her little sister, Syrah, around her neck, and she had on Chara's golden locket- a perfect match to the one that thing was wearing. The gold was stained with the blood of her old friend, and it filled with her with Determination to destroy the thing that had killed her friends and family, as well as so many others. She would extract Justice for the hundreds of deaths that this thing had caused. She had had her fill of Patience... it was time for her to stop sleeping and take action. She couldn't afford to not care anymore.

The human- no, whatever that thing was- was unperturbed. It continued to slowly walk forward carrying the knife it had taken from Chara after murdering her, and wearing the golden locket that had belonged to Chara's beloved brother Azzy, before it had turned him into a pile of dust scattered on his rainbow bandanna.

'You don't deserve to carry their belongings, you disgusting creature,' she thought.

She flapped her wings, rising into the air and sending icy cold air throughout the hall.

"Anomaly.
I've been watching you.
You murdered everyone in your path.
You killed my family, my little sister.
Now, it's time for me to get my revenge.
And you know what they say about revenge...
It's best served ICE COLD.
So, get ready to have a BAD TIME,
YOU DIRTY SISTER KILLER."

*I suck at fight scenes, so the "official" dialogue is in the Asks+Bonus Stories book for EitS, if you feel like reading it.*

*Snow's Megalovania starts playing*

"Welp... I'm going to Muffet's... Syrah, do you want anything?" Snow whispered, before everything went dark.

---

Snow awoke back in her normal skeletal form, curled up in a ball of blankets in her bed. Her bed was just a mattress on the floor, but it didn't bother her in the slightest. In fact, it was probably a good thing, as the last bed she had slept in ended up covered in claw marks after she had a nightmare.

She leisurely stretched, yawning, before wandering over to her small dresser to get ready for the day. Syrah was probably going to patrol, as usual, while Snow would probably fall asleep at her station again.

'I suppose I could actually do something like what I'm supposed to do, and sit by the door and tell knock knock jokes to Quill. He'd appreciate them, and I could ask him if anyone has fallen yet. He's like me, Lune, and SS!Chara, he remembers the resets. I believe that anyone who would hold the place of Judge in their AU can remember. Lune though... I dunno why she can remember, but I'm glad. She's a good friend,' Snow thought.

---

Snow quickly walked downstairs to see her little sister, Syrah, in the kitchen, and, given that she could smell Cinnamon Bunnies, probably making those.

"Hey sis, can I have one or am I going to have to go to Muffet's for breakfast?"

"Yes, you can have some... but only if you take a few to Lune too."

'Oh, yeah, I need to do my daily check on the Voidpool to make sure that nobody has arrived here. I should probably make a list of what I need to do today... but I'm lazy, and I don't know where the paper is,' Snow thought to herself.

---

Snow took a shortcut to just outside the cave where the Voidpool was located. She quietly walked into the large cavern, with its enormous pool of water that sparkled with the stars of some other world. It didn't seem like anyone had arrived today, but it never hurt to do a through check. She could hear faint music drifting through the air, a soft tune that reminded her of Chara's little brother Azzy, but at the same time not him.

Then, the music changed.

"Shoot."

It was a song Snow had nicknamed "Dogsong," because it always played when this small, white dog showed up. The dog was very annoying, and it tended to show up at the most seemingly random times, but every time it showed up, something important would happen in the near future... so something important, or, more likely, someone important, would be arriving at the Voidpool at some point in this timeline.

"Welp. I'm out. Time to call a meeting."

---

After coming across the annoying dog, Snow immediately left the Voidpool and took a shortcut to Lune's.

"Oh! Hey Snow, how are you? Also, do I smell Cinnabuns?"

"Good, and yes, you do. Here, Syrah made me promise to give some to you. Also, I was thinking that we should invite Chara over- I need to talk to her, and I think she'd appreciate the Cinnabuns too."

"Okay! Should we invite Azzy too?"

"Well... I want to discuss space and time, so probably not. Honestly, we might need some chocolate for this."

"It's that bad?"

"Yup."

"I'm going to call Chara, if you need anything you probably know where it is, you come here so often," said Lune. "If you don't, than it can wait."

"Okay."

---

"Hi Chara!" Lune chirped, hyper from her sugary Cinnabun.

"Hey Chara," Snow said, before yawning loudly. Her sugar rush had worn off, and as she hadn't gotten much sleep last night, she was very tired.

"Hey partners. How's it going?"

"Good... I'm sleepy though," Snow grumbled.

"I can tell," Chara said, laughing slightly, "So, what'd you call me here for?"

"I need you to stay near the Voidpool. Something is going to happen there soon, and I want someone who I can trust and I know can take care of herself. Chara, you were a judge. I trust that you can handle anything that comes through that portal, and if you can't, or if it's a skeleton, call me," Snow said, in a unusually serious tone.

"How do you know that something will happen there?" Chara asked.

"I saw THE dog there. It tends to show up before important things happen, where they will happen. So, we're going to keep an eye on the Voidpool."

"Okay. If you don't mind helping me get home to grab some stuff, and then taking me there, we can go," Chara said.

"Actually, there's some other stuff I want to talk about too, mainly about what we'll do if the human goes geno," Lune said.

"Lune, we can't change the ending of the geno run without damaging the code, you know that. We have to wait for the kid to reach the Judgement Hall," Snow said sadly. "All we can do is hope for a pacifist run this time. If you want to work on Mettaton and Napstabot's ΝΣΘ forms, though, that might be a good use of the time we have."

"Well, we should probably get going, right Snow?"

"Yes, we should. Now c'mon, we need to go get your stuff."

---

"Well Chara, here we are. The Voidpool."

"The water is beautiful... I didn't see it before, I was passed out when we got here and you rescued me from the void," Chara murmured, awed by the otherworldliness of the cavern.

"Don't go swimming in the voidpool, okay? It tends to try to pull you in and scatter you throughout time and space. Its magic is rather confusing, it calls to those whose AUs were destroyed in rather unusual ways, hopefully causing them to end up safely in the voidpool, where we can get them and try to help them. We can't always do much, but every so often we get one or two we can save- like you and Azzy, Quill, and Fynn. You guys were all very lucky."

"So I'm lucky to be alive. Cool."

"Yup, pretty much," Snow said, snorting quietly at how calmly Chara could discuss her own death. "Now, I've got to go talk to Quill, will you be okay here?"

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me. Quill's probably getting worried by now, you know how he is."

"Yeah, I'd better go before he busts down the Ruins door and makes it so I have to explain to Syrah how I know him."

---

Snow took a shortcut home and walked the rest of the way to the Ruins, where she tapped on the door and called, "QUILL! GET YOUR BONEY BUTT OVER HERE OR I'LL BLAST THE DOOR DOWN!!! Also, I brought you a Cinnabun!"

"I'm coming, Snow! Please don't destroy the door!" Quill yelled, not wanting to have the door blasted like it was after she grew impatient a few timelines ago.

Snow grumbled and leaned on a snow-covered tree by the door. The snow fell on her head. Although she didn't really care, the chilly snow felt nice, it gave her a good idea for a prank. She quickly made a snowball and used blue magic to hold it over the door, so she could drop it on Quill.

Quill opened the huge blue and violet door that connected the Ruins to Snowdin Forest, expecting to find a very annoyed Snow.

Instead, he found her leaning against a tree, her right eye glowing a pale blue.

"It's ice to see you today Quill," Snow joked, before letting the snowball fall on his head.

"SNOW, WHY?!" Quill yelled, although he was laughing.

"You know it was funny. And as for why, there was snow reason."

"Oh, Snow! What am I going to do with you? Come on in, I have pie," said Quill cheerfully.

"I have serious stuff to discuss today. Mainly that we'll probably have a new person here soon, so if we get a genocide kid... then we'll have a bit of a problem. If the kid is on the warpath, I want you to leave the Ruins, okay? Don't let yourself die, we need you. Their determination has no match, but working together, we might be able to exhaust them to the point that they RESET."

"Okay Snow. I'll be careful. I hope that we don't get a genocide run, but if we do... what'll we do?"

"I'm working on that, but I need you alive at the end of this. If you're forced to flee, head to Lune's place, okay? The kid won't be able to go there if it's a genocide or neutral run, and if it's pacifist they won't head there until later on, if at all. So you should be safe there."

"Now, on a lighter note, do you want some pie?"

"Is it lemon-key lime? I feel like you've perfected that, your recipe is unparalleled."

"Yes, it is."

"Quill, we really should just start calling you Pa-PIE-rus."

"Oh, Snow!" he said, laughing. "Do you want to come with me when I check for the kid today?"

"Okay. It's not like I have anything else to do, after all. Though if I get a call from Chara I'll have to go. She's keeping an eye on the Voidpool."

"Well then, what are you waiting for? Let's go before you get a call, so I can show you around the Ruins."

Quill led the way up the stairs into his place. You could still see elements of when Toriel had lived there, but mostly it seemed to be redecorated exactly how he wanted it. It was rather messy here and there, but that was to be expected.

The house had a lot more color than when Toriel had lived there. The walls were painted many different hues, and there seemed to be a few splatters of black ink and colorful paint on the floor too. A desk with lots of art supplies was near the window looking out onto the Ruins from the living room, and an ink drawing of what appeared to be a star lily was drying there. The walls above the desk were covered in ink drawings of many other things, including a few other star lilies.

"I like your drawings Quill. They're really pretty."

"Thank you."

"Can we eat that pie now? It smells so good."

"It should be room temperature now, but it tastes better cold."

"Oh, I can handle that. Don't worry, it'll be nice and cold," Snow said cheerfully.

"Okay, but please don't fill it with ice."

"Oh I won't, I have much more civilized ways. How do you think I survive in Hotland?"

"Well then, what are you waiting for? If we can have pie now, let's do it!"

"Oh, I already did it. If I can see it, I can freeze it, or at least if it's not alive."

"Okay then, let's eat it then!"

Snow and Quill walked over to the pie, but before he could cut it, Snow's phone started to ring.

"I'd better get that."

≻✆≺
Yes, she enjoyed your Cinnamon Bunnies. Chara enjoyed them too.
I'm currently at a friend's place, and I'm on call for work, due to that I need to keep my ringer on, and it's loud, so can you stick with texting me for now?
Thank you!
≻✆≺

"Okay, that has been managed, it was just Syrah. She wanted to know if Lune liked her Cinnabuns."

"Well, I've got some pie ready for you. Do you want whipped cream?"

"Do I even need to dignify that with an answer? You know me, Quill."

He put a massive blob of whipped cream on top of the slice, and handed it to her.

"Here you go, dig in!"

"Oh my goodness!"

"Do you like it?"

"I don't like it... I love it!!! THIS IS AMAZING."

"Thank you, I'm glad you like it."

After eating their pie, Quill and Snow began the walk up to the ring of star lilies where humans could end up in the territory of the monsters.

Rather unsurprisingly, there was nobody there. They always got a few days before the human fell in each reset, thankfully.

Snow's phone went off again, playing Chara's Jurisdestruction (if you want to know why it's not Megaloglamour, then ask).

"Welp, I definitely need to get this one. I probably have to go Quill, but seeya later!"

≻✆≺
Oh, hey Chara!
Someone's in the Voidpool?
Wait... did you say that there are THREE skeletons?!
That's not normal...
We should only get two at one time, as AUs tend to have only two skeletons, unless Gaster isn't trapped in the Void.
Wait, two of them look similar to me?!
That's not right... we shouldn't have gotten two Sans-Serif font skeletons from one AU.
I'm coming, and I'm going to see if Quill will come.
Yes, I'll see you in a minute Chara.
≻✆≺

"Quill, will you please come with me? Chara says that there are three skeletons in the Voidpool, and I could use some-"

"Yes, I'll come, don't worry. I haven't been to the Voidpool in ages though, so can you take me?"

"Yup, no problem."

"Thank you, Snowy. Now, let's take a shortcut!"

---

"Chara, we're here!"

"I'm over here! I just got them out, are they supposed to be unconscious?"

"Yes, it's normal. The portal into the Voidpool tends to knock people out if they aren't unconscious already. Something about the magical shift from the Void to Startale disagreeing with them, and allowing them to adjust safely. They all look okay though, good job Chara!"

"Should we take them back to your place Snow, or what?"

"I was thinking about taking them to my place, yes."

"Quill, can you get the big one? Chara and I can probably get the other two, but he looks too heavy for either of us to pick up."

"I can get him. Are you going to shortcut, or do you want me to do it?"

"I can get myself and this one, but I've already done a lot of shortcuts today, so if you could boost Chara?"

"No problem!"

"Thank you Quill. Now, let's go before they wake up."

As soon as they got back to the house, Snow walked over to the couch and carefully set down the dark-boned, scarred skeleton she had been carrying.

"Let's check them now, just in case," said Chara.

"Okay. Let's check those two, then take them upstairs. They can go in Syrah's room, I'm sure she won't mind, as she's staying with Undyne and Fynn... hopefully not burning down their house... oh, they're going to burn something down, aren't they. Somehow they always manage to burn things."

A small groan from Error where he was settled on the couch got Snow's attention. She walked over to him and settled next to the couch on the fluffy blanket Syrah had gotten her last Gyftmas. Eventually she fell asleep, and Error continued to sleep as well.

Quill returned home to keep an eyelight on the Ruins, and Chara settled into a chair upstairs to wait for the other two skeletons to awaken. Not long after that, Chara fell asleep too. It had been a crazy day for all of them.
