Error's POV
Error found himself in a strange dark area when he left the portal. Blue and Stretch appeared a second later, and he closed the portal immediately to prevent Ink from following them.

He noticed that the darkness seemed to be shifting all around them, but at the same time, you could see perfectly (or at least once he bothered to put on his glasses he could).

"Error, Papy, are you two okay?" Blue asked, worry evident in his voice.

"DoN't WoRrY aBoUt Me. I dOn'T dIe ThAt EaSiLy."

"I'm fine Blue."

"BlUe, ArE yOu OkAy?"

"Yup! I'm fine! Also, I think someone's coming towards us from over there- see?"

"YUp."

As the mysterious person approached, they could see that they looked like a Frisk, but grayscale with eerie vantablack eyes like bottomless pits.

"Hello Forced Destroyer, Sans, Papyrus. Do not worry, you are protected from the effects of the Void. I am Core Frisk, one of the Guardians of the Multiverses."

"MuLtiVeRsEs?! ThErE iS mOrE tHaN oNe?!" Error screeched glitchily.

"Yes, Destroyer. Do not worry, you will not have to go to any of them. I cannot take anyone to them, and the only ones with the ability to do so are in a deep sleep, to restore their power after the creation of this Multiverse and its Guardians."

Dogsong begins to play...

"This is my fellow Guardian. He will probably choose not to share his true name, unless he does you may simply call him the Annoying Dog."

'I'll take them to the center of the Void, they can get directions to a safe place from there.'

"He says that he will lead you to the center of the Void, from where you can receive directions to a safe place."

'Frisk, I can speak to them myself you know!'

"Yes, my friend, but can they understand you?"

"Core Frisk, we can understand him. We don't need a translator, thank you," said Blue.

"Well, if you are able to understand him, I can leave," said Core Frisk, before disappearing without a sound.

"Maybe you can Blue, but I can't."

"I cAn HeAr HiM fInE."

"Maybe it's a Sans thing?" Blue said.

'No, it's due to you both being from Original AUs, several of whose Sanses were given small gifts by Lady Destiny. She gave Error the ability to read any form of code, and Blue the ability to understand all languages. With practice, Error might be able to edit coding, perhaps even create new code. Blue, it'll make it much easier for you to befriend people, and eventually you should be able to speak the other languages. I believe that she gave you both these abilities for a reason, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see.'

'Now, please just let Papyrus continue to think it's a Sans thing, or at least until you're away from the Void. You never know who's listening here, and it's better if nobody knows about your gifts.'

"Okay!"

"oKaY."

'Now, let's go.'

"Come on, Papy! We need to follow him!" Blue chirped.

"I'm coming, Blue."

They all quickly followed the Dog through the Void to a spot with a large sphere of light that seemed to be constantly changing forms.

'This is the Core of the Void. Someone will come and take you where you need to go soon enough. I have to go now, but don't worry- if you need me, just call my name.'

"Uh, you never told us your name," said Blue.

'Oh, yeah! I didn't tell you my name, did I? Welp, I guess I should do that. The name's Toby. Don't wear it out, okay?'

"ThAnK yOu, FriEnD," said Error, but Toby had already disappeared.

"Where'd he go?" Stretch asked.

"He said that this is where we need to wait, and that someone will come and tell us where to go soon. I have absolutely no idea where he went though."

They waited there for what felt like minutes, but was in fact hours outside of the Void. The Void tends to mess with space-time, so a few minutes in it can be a few hours outside of it, or the other way around.

Eventually, they saw a strange dark figure approaching from the shadows. As he came closer, they could see that he was a tall skeleton with cracks on his face and- were those HOLES in his hands?! He appeared to be crocheting something out of the shadows of the void- maybe a scarf, they couldn't tell.

Stretch worked up the courage to call out to him, "Hey, dude, are you the one that the dog said would take us where we need to go?"

❝Perhaps I am. It is uncertain, in this place❞

Error looked at the goopy skeleton, a feeling a strange warmth in his soul at the sight. He didn't know why he felt at home with the strange skeleton- Gaster, his name was Gaster- but he did. "hEy GaStEr, CaN yOu TaKe Us WhErE wE nEeD tO gO?"

❝Yes I can, my child. I know where you need to go, and I will take you there. Perhaps I can even give you a few tips about where you are going.❞

"I wOuLd ApPrEcIaTe SoMe TiPs, AnD lEaD tHe WaY.

❝Try not to antagonize the people of this AU. It has several very powerful guardians who might actually be able to defeat you if they worked together. And they're good friends, so they do work together. So... yeah, just don't make them mad.❞

"gOt It. DoN't MaKe ThEm MaD."

They walked for a while, seeing nothing more than the unending darkness and the occasional Gaster, before reaching their destination.

❝Well, here we are, my child. This is the entrance to the Voidpool, and the AU beyond it. You would've been brought here immediately if you hadn't been a guardian.❞

As soon as they got within a couple of feet, Error crashed.

❝What is that horrible sound, Sans?❞

"Error crashed. Don't worry about him, he'll be fine."

❝Crashed?❞

"What do you mean, crashed?"

"Just look at him, you can see it," Blue said.

"Oh. Well that's new."

"He does it sometimes, mainly when something overwhelms him or if someone touches him. I'll just go ahead and hit the 'yes' button now to speed up the reboot," Blue said calmly, completely unfazed by Error being basically unconscious.

"Error, are you okay?"

"ThAt CoDe. I tHiNk I rEcOgNiZe It FrOm SoMeWhErE, bUt I dOn'T kNoW wHEre. It ᴍakᴇs me fᴇel... safe."

'Did he... yeah. He just spoke with hardly any glitching!' Blue thought to himself, and smiled.

"C'mon Error, Papy! Let's go through the rift!" Blue said, bouncing with excitement.

Error knows who Gaster is due to complicated crap I don't feel like explaining.
Oh, by the way, Gaster is only not speaking in Wingdings because I found the magical translating quotation marks. Also I don't feel like translating his stuff into emoji Wingdings. I'm MUCH too lazy for that XD
I just realized that I've got fancy Wingdings symbols too. I'm still not translating it into Wingdings though XD
Also the picture up top is rather accurate to this story. I hope. I don't want to bring her back, she creeps me out.
