The next day came as everyone heading to their classes as fast as they could. And no matter what happen with Applejack, she wasn't gonna let Sunset Shimmer ruin her day at all. She was sitting in her seat talking to Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.
"And then she called me a chicken." Applejack told them, explaining her burning with Sunset Shimmer.
"A chicken?" Rainbow chuckled. "You are most likely to be a horse."
Applejack gave her friend a face proving it wasn't funny.
She cleared her throat and said "Sorry AJ."
"I think chickens are very nice. Their calling is certainly lovely." Fluttershy said.
"More likely annoying." Rainbow said.
"And then I said she was meant to be a pig and she stormed out." Applejack finished.
Rainbow laughed. "Pig? High five for AJ." She gave her red-neck friend a high five.
"Now girls, insulting pigs are not that funny. They're just as important as chickens." Fluttershy said.
"Yeah for bacon." Applejack joked.
Fluttershy made a face knowing it was not funny to mess with the animal food chain.
"Sorry Flutters. At least better not be that bad since we have that dang project thing."
"I bet it's gonna be easy." Rainbow said.
"I don't know." Fluttershy said. "Miss Cheerliee does give out fun projects but sometimes they are hard."
"That's only cause you had Rainbow as your partner and she let you do all of the work."
"I did not!" Rainbow said.
"Oh really? Name one thing you did during your project with Fluttershy."
"I talked while she stood there when we present it."
Applejack only face palmed herself.
"Oh I don't mind doing the work. I just don't like some projects include glue and scissors." Fluttershy said.
"Well let's hope it's easy for ya and you get someone other than Dash."
Rainbow laughed but they three stopped speaking when Sunset walked towards them and sat behind Applejack. She placed her feet on her desk and laid back relaxing.
"Um, Sunset Shimmer?" Fluttershy got her attention. "You're not really suppose to have your feet on the desk."
Sunset only looked at her and ignored her point.
Fluttershy knew she was going to be ignore at this point. "Oh. Okay."
"Good morning students." Miss Cheerliee said coming into the classroom. "I bet you all had a great Monday and I hate to start it on a Tuesday, but as you know, our little project is made today."
Some students groaned with this idea and didn't want to do it.
"Now now, I know y'all don't like projects, but it's not my choice. It's the school board."
"Can't you lie and pretend we all did it?" A boy asked.
"Very funny. I can't do that again."
Sunset Shimmer was getting a good view of Applejack's head and had a straw and a few spitballs in her hands. She put a spitball in the straw and blew in it making it fly and hit Applejack's head. Mostly her hat.
She looked back at Sunset Shimmer annoyed.
"What?" Sunset said trying to look innocent.
"Now what our project is, it's called 'Short story book'. I notice from some of you is that you have special writing skills and drawing skills. So I thought it was a great idea to let you partner up and write y'all's own little story. You can at least used four characters and have seven chapters. Last time a group of boys did one character and use one chapter, so I pray no one does that please."
Everyone laughed of how that happen.
"Now I actually partner everyone up so when I say the names, don't coming running to me saying you want someone else to be your partner. Everyone understand?"
Everyone agreed to their teacher.
"Good luck with who you get." Applejack whispered to Fluttershy.
She them felt another spitball hit her hat. She looked back at Sunset and whispered "Will you stop that?"
"What? What am I exactly doing?" Sunset whispered. Still trying to look innocent.
Applejack looked back up to the teacher as she gave out the names.
"Alright," she looked a white sheet of paper. "Trixie with Rainbow Dash..."
"What?" Rainbow looked surprised.
Applejack and Fluttershy snickered how she didn't get Fluttershy and instead Trixie.
"This can't be happening." Now she had no clue what to do.
"Bulk Biceps with Fluttershy.."
"Yeah!" Bulk said with pride.
"Lucky. I wanna be your partner." Applejack whispered.
"I'm sure whoever you get will be more fun than me." She whispered back.
After a few names, Applejack waited for her name to be spoken. And she is hear it, although she wasn't happy with what she heard.
"Applejack with Sunset Shimmer..."
What?!
Applejack's face was wide open with her jaw dropped. She could not believe it. She's partners with Sunset Shimmer?
Another spitball hit her head and she was about to lose her temper with spitballs. "Stop it right now." She whispered.
"What are you talking about, partner?"
She smirked at the red-neck.
"Now remember in the partner short story, one person must do the illustrates, which is drawings, and one must do the writing. Don't make them sloppy or that you didn't even tried cause I know everyone is talented in ere. Understood?"
Everyone agreed again.
Applejack felt her head spinning. She can't be partners with Sunset Shimmer. This was a huge nightmare. Now she'll be hearing more insults than ever. She's gotta find a way out of this partnership with her enemy.

An hour later...

The bell finally rang and every student got up and left out of the class. Sunset Shimmer bumped purposely onto Applejack making her fall to her seat. She stood up and saw her teacher sitting in the desk by herself. She asked towards and pray she let her work with someone else.
"Um mis-"
"Don't even think about asking to change partners Applejack." She said.
She is one smart teacher.
"But miss Cheerliee, do you know what Sunset Shimmer does to me? She picks on me, throws spitballs in the middle of class, I'm her target for someone to bully. Please you gotta partner me up with someone else."
"Listen Applejack, there's a good reason why I set you two as partners. And trust me I've had talks with her about bullying others and how wrong it is. Maybe if you gave her a chance, she can at least have a friend."
"Have you lost your pest-loving mind? No disrespect but there's no possibly way I can Sunset Shimmer's friend by how she treats me. And besides, what makes you think she can help with this project?"
"She's actually a good artist. You Gould see her work sweetie. And I know that you have the best writing skills in class. Maybe she can illustrate and you can write. Simple like that."
"But-"
"Applejack, you gotta try to work on this with Sunset Shimmer. She has a hard time making new friends and it isn't easy. This project is more of a bonding friends together thing so that way students who barley speak to each other. And it might be a good experience for you. Don't you ever wanna know why Sunset Shimmer is always picking on you? Well you can get your answer by just trying to be her friend and work together."
Applejack still doubted miss Cheerliee. How can she possibly be friends with the person who's picked on her non-stop? But maybe she's right. Maybe she'll find out why Sunset does this and how could she stop it. Maybe it won't be as bad as before.
"Okay. I'll try." She said.
"Thank you. And I know you two will be great friends. Now you better get to class before you're late. I'll write you a pass."
Applejack stood there waiting for the pass. And no matter how much she knew she had to try, she knew this project won't end well and she will never talk to Sunset after this.
