Aashna's pov:

Finally it was the day for the party and I was super excited. But I hate the fact that we had lectures in the morning. I was not in mood to attend them but I had no other option. I met my group, which included Me, Kriya, Karan, Ashish and lastly our lovebirds, Simran and Yash.

"You both can never be on time, come fast the bell rang already” Yash said the moment me and Kriya met them.
Hurriedly we went to our class, luckily teacher was not there, we went inside and got settled on our seats. I noticed everyone talking about the party. All are super excited like me.

"Ruan is not in the college.” Kriya said sadly.

"Come on, he might be busy in preparation and moreover you will see him in the party, So chill.” I said assuring her but still it had no effect on her. She was still whining like a small baby.

"Yeah, even you will be able to see your mystery boy today.” Simran commented and everyone laughed.

"Shut up.” was my only reaction to it as mind literally shifted on that 'mystery boy'. I didn't say them about it but even I was secretly excited to see him.

Whatever, I said to myself and started discussing about the time and place where we all will meet today. After lots of arguments it was decided that we will meet at 7 near Kriya's house.

After the college we went to our home. I took my beauty sleep and it was 4 in the evening when I went to Kriya's home. She said that she will help me with my makeup and hair and I happily agreed to it as I don't have much idea regarding it. In fact I don't even know the names of half of makeup products and it's uses.

I reached her home and met everyone there except Kriya. When I asked her mom I came to know that she is in her room, doing something with her face. Doing what? I went to her room and found her resting her head in the headboard. I went closer to her and saw what she has done to her face. Face mask!

"I guess someone want to look prettiest today.” I said and she jerked up.

"You scared me." She snapped at me but that only made me laugh.

"Well sorry, I didn't mean to do it.  But what's this all.” I said touching her cheek.

"huh.. Not everyone is fair like you, some people have to do things like this.” She said. The only thing I hate about her is when she talks something nonsense like this. She was actually fair and look really pretty but she always deny it.

"Don't say that, even you are fair but you just don't accept it."

"Whatever.” she said and again rested her head on headboard. And I sat on the couch reading magazine. But she not let me read that because she kept on talking about Ruan. I was indeed happy for her, Ruan is a nice guy and I have accepted it.

After she was done with her mask and other things, she came to me asked how she looked.

"You look beautiful even without this.” I said pointing towards the face mask kit.

"Not everyone understands that.” She said and went to her balcony and I came to know the reason behind her sadness.

"Did you saw him?” I asked following her to the balcony.

"He texted me." She replied without looking at me.

"You don't have to be sad. It's over. You are strong girl now.” I said assuring her. God, why this ex-boyfriends can't let a girl live happily? Why they have to poke their nose when everything is getting normal? This is the situation of almost every friend of mine and now Kriya was also the victim of same.

"Yeah" She said still without looking at me.

"Ruan."

"Ruan."

"Ruan.” I said teasing her and finally she smiled. Thanks god! At least that idiots name make her smile.

"Come on I don't want to be late. Ruan texted me to come on time.” She said and dragged me inside. First she helped me and then went to get ready.

I must say that she has done a very brilliant job on me, Not to be a self-obsessed bitch but I actually looked very pretty. I was not able to believe that the girl in the mirror is actually me! I totally loved my white dress, hair and makeup.

I was so busy admiring myself when I noticed her. Prettiest! she looked really very very pretty.

"I must say that the Face mask has done it's job very well.” I said and she threw a pillow towards me.

It was 6:30 and we still had half hour with us, so we did our favourite work, clicking selfies. At seven sharp the Karan called to come outside.

"I'm so excited.” Kriya screamed once we got settled in the car. But it was only Karan and Ashish in the car. I asked about Simran and Yash and came to know that they are coming on Yash's bike.

The venue for the party was only at a distance of half hour from Kriya's house but Ashish was not interested to go so soon and hence he avoided taking the shortcut. I was ok with it but Kriya seemed annoyed. The girl is dying to see Ruan!

After full one hour of travelling we finally reached our destination but As our lovebirds were not here yet, we decided to wait for them. It was 8:10 when they came and then we went inside the hall and met our other friends and seniors. Music was playing in the background and everyone was busy clicking pictures, chatting and even drinking.

Kriya was searching for Ruan but he was no where to be seen.

"Where is he?” I asked her but she just shrugged her shoulders. Neither Ruan nor his friends were here and I just wondered where are they? But for now I decided to think about it later and started enjoying.

At 8:30 I saw a group of four boys entering the hall and all of them were wearing leather jackets and I must say that they all were looking so strikingly handsome that any girl would have definitely fallen for them. Ruan was one of them wearing a maroon leather jacket

But none of them was wearing black jacket. Boring people. Before I could say that to Kriya, I noticed her already drooling at him.

"Enough now.” I said and she looked at me.

"Isn't he looking hot?” She said and smiled sheepishly.

"Yeah, he is." Someone said from behind. We turned around and saw our senior, Riya. She quickly went and hugged him. Kriya went from there but I didn't missed her jealous look. I went towards her.

"You know, I'm jealous.” I said trying to change her mood.

"I'm not.” She said and Ruan gestured me that what happened to her? I gestured saying that I don't know, help please. He instantly came there and it was better for me leave them alone so I went from there. After Five minutes she called me and said that everything is okay and I can join them. I went there and met Ruan.

"Where is our captain? You know Aashna is dying to see him.” Kriya said.

"No.” I protested.

"She has already met him and even talked with him.” Ruan said.

Really? When did that happened? And why the hell I don't know about it?

"He should have been here by now wait I will call him.” He said and went to call.

"When did you met him?” Kriya asked.

"I don't know.” I said because I literally didn't had any idea about what Ruan was talking.

"Look who is here." Again someone said from behind and I turned to see one of my senior saying it. Then I looked at the entrance and saw Ruan coming inside with someone. He was wearing a black leather jacket.

At least someone has a good choice here.

"He is Aarav.” Kriya said.

"Yeah, he is Aarav, Aarav Deshmukh, captain of our football team.” Said the same senior and I was tongue tied.

Is he same Aarav Deshmukh? Means the captain and Aarav both are same?
