It had been a week since Aichi had passed on, the funeral had already happened, despite the lack of a body.

Kai, he wasn't doing too well, he'd spend most of his time hidden in his room in the dark, mourning the loss of the blue haired boy.

It was just how Aichi had said, life is indeed very unfair, for he had only just had his feelings returned to him before losing the younger.

The brunette looked over tiredly towards the clock before sighing, realizing that it had already been two days since he had last gotten up to eat.

He reluctantly got up from his bed and stretched, noting the aching pain caused from not moving for so long.

Slowly the tired teen walked towards the kitchen, he want in the mood for food, however he knew that his body needed it's nutrients.

He had once thought about ending his life to join the blue haired boy, however that thought was quickly sent away, for he knew that if there ever was an afterlife, Aichi would blame himself and feel miserable.

Jades narrowed slightly when the fridge was opened to reveal the lack of food. With a sigh, the brunette walked towards the front door and put his shoes on before exiting the house.

Jades blinked in surprise when he looked down to see a young russian blue curled up on his doorstep. At a closer look, the kitten seemed to be around a week old, too young to be away from it's mother for any length of time.

Jades flickered around, looking for the kit's mother, however he found none, frowning, the brunette gently scooped up the young kit. A soft half asleep mew escaped from the kit's mouth as it opened it's eyes to reveal dazzling sapphires.

Those sapphires seemed to entrance the brunette, the kitten gazed into the deep jades before mewing softly, snapping the brunette out of his trance.

"Where's your mother?"

The brunette asked softly, despite knowing that he wouldn't get a response. The kit's ears went back and sapphires filled with sadness as the kit gave out a pitiful mew, causing Kai to raise a brow. For it seemed like the kit actually understood what he was saying.

The brunette's heart ached at the sadness in those sapphire orbs so he brought the kit inside of his apartment, for some reason he felt overly protective of the kitten.

The kit was placed on the floor as the brunette walked to the kitchen cabinet and brought out a bowl and filled it with milk before placing it onto the floor for the kitten to drink.

Sapphires lit up at the sight of the milk, resulting in the young kit scampering over towards the bowl, tripping over it's own feet and landing in it's nose a few times along the way.

Kai chuckled softly, sure he loved cats, yet for some reason, he already felt attached to the young kit, more so than usually, the thought of getting rid of the kit hurt.

"Maybe I can keep you...."

At the brunette's words, the kit looked up and meowed happily, milk droplets falling from it's chin.

"Maybe I should pick out a name..... But then I'd need to check it's gender...."

The brunette murmured as he picked the kit up, he was about to flip the cat to check it's gender, however a quick swipe to the knows, curtsy of sharp kitten claws made the brunette drop the kit in surprise.

Kai raised a brow at how sapphires were flickering dangerously at him, while the kit arched its back, as if saying 'don't you dare do that ever again'.

After a few moments sapphires flickered towards the brunette's tablet that he occasionally used instead of a computer. The kit scampered over towards it and pawed the ON button hard enough to turn it on, surprising the brunette.

Curious jades watched as the kit pawed the notes app and began to type, causing the brunette to freeze in shock when he realized that the kitten wasn't tapping random letters.

'My name is Aichi Sendou'

The tablet read, jades looked towards the kit to see sapphires were gazing into his deep jades.

"Aichi........ You've come back...."

Kai whispered softly as tears began to fall from his eyes as he carefully picked up Aichi and hugged him, earning him a soft purring laced mew as the young kit nuzzled the older.

"I guess life isn't as unfair as I thought......"

I picked a russian blue because they naturally have blue eyes~ and I chose a cat because Kai likes cats ^-^

Anyway since they reunited... People won't be mad at me anymore hehe..... Anyway bye bye until my next book~
