The brunette jumped when he suddenly saw the blue haired boy standing beside him, his eyes illuminated with the power of psyqualia, his gaze shifted towards the soulless body.

"I can see you"

The brunette said in surprise.

"Ehhh really?...... Then maybe this might work"

Aichi replied softly as sapphires rested upon his body. Slowly Aichi clasped the hands of his body, causing it to glow.

A few moments later a bright light blinded the brunette, when his sight returned he saw only the physical form of the blue haired boy laying on the ground.

"Aichi?"

Kai questioned, hoping that the boy had managed to enter his body.

"........"

Blank blue orbs gazed up towards the brunette causing unease to trickle into him.

"So it failed...... Aichi you there?"

".........."

"....... Aichi?......."

"........"

"If you can't use psyqualia right now you can knock me out to talk......"

"........."

"....... Did something happen?...."

The brunette murmured, a little uneasy that the young boy wasn't responding to him. Kai knelt down to feel the young boy's skin, it was as cold as ice, just like before.

The brunette wondered if the young boy?s spiritual form just needed to rest, he refused to think of any other reason as to why Aichi had stopped responding to him.

"...... I should bring you over towards the heater...."

The brunette sighed as he grabbed the younger's hand gently and began to lead him towards the heater.

The brunette didn't know what else to do so he decided to lay down with the the younger, hoping that Aichi would somehow enter his dreams.

Thankfully, sleep came to him easily since he was used to taking naps all of the time.

"Aichi?"

The brunette called when he found himself in the familiar white plane.

"Kai......"

A tired voice replied, the brunette turned around to see the blue haired boy sitting down, an exhausted look plastered upon his face.

"I was worried when you didn't respond....."

The older breathed in relief at the sight of the younger.

"Sorry..... Not enough strength right now...... That's why I could only slip into your dream instead of causing a dream....."

The younger breathed, the brunette felt uneasy when he looked at the young boy closer. before in the dreams Aichi's form was solid, however right now it was somewhat transparent.

"......... How do you feel besides tiered?"

Kai asked, a little curious as to what it felt like to be in the younger's position.

"Numb...... And heavy"

Jades narrowed slightly at the response, the numb part seemed plausible, however he doubted that the boy weighed anything at all.

"So you won't be trying again for a while......"

The older teen concluded, Aichi nodded.

"Yeah..... each time I try it gets harder..... Maybe we should give up......"

The blue haired boy sighed as he gazed towards the floor tiredly, the older clenched his fists tightly.

"Why are you so quick to give up Aichi? It's not like you......"

The older teen replied, sapphires looked up towards the older as a slightly bitter smile crept upon the younger's lips.

"When I first sealed myself away, I had already built up the resolve to not exist....... So I guess it doesn't seem as bad to me than it would have if I hadn't been resolved........"

Aichi replied softly, causing guilt to bubble within the older's chest.

"It was my fault that you had to do that......."

Sapphires softened at the older's guilt, the smaller boy stood up from the place where he was sitting and hugged the older, a kind smile gracing his lips.

"It's not, he would have had to be beaten anyways, it just happened to be by me. Don't blame yourself Kai.... I don't, so why should you?"

Aichi whispered softly.

"Aichi...... I just-"

"I know..... I'm thankful for you trying to help me...... but, I seriously doubt that I can last much longer"

Realization hit the brunette when he noticed that the smaller boy seemed even more transparent than before.

"Wait.... You don't mean...."

Kai felt panic rise within him as he noticed that the transparency was increasing ever so slightly.

"I really shouldn't have activated my psyqualia....... It drained a lot of my energy...."

Aichi laughed lightly as he scratched his cheek.

"This is nothing to laugh about!"

The brunette replied with frustration, for he felt so helpless in not being able to help.

"I know..... But, it's better than feeling sorry for myself......."

The younger whispered softly.

"You can't give up...... Please Aichi...."

Kai's voice was little more than a whisper.

"The world isn't perfect Kai..... Things can't always turn out okay....."

"It's not fair....... You've went through so much for others......."

"Kai, I'm fine, I'm not scared"

The brunette noticed that he was trembling slightly.

"I don't want you to leave....."

Sapphires shimmered with happiness, veiling the sadness that was masked beneath.

"I don't either, because I...... I love you Kai......."

Jades widened at the younger's confession as he looked at Aichi's face to see that a faint pink tinged the younger's face.

"I love you too......"

The brunette whispered softly as he slowly lifted the boy's face to plant a soft kiss upon the younger's lips.He felt as if he could easily slip through the boy if he lost his focus.

Aichi moved away after a few seconds and smiled, tears streaming from his sapphires.

"I wish we had time to be together..... I love you, goodbye...."

The blue haired boy whispered as he disappeared in a silver light.

Jades blinked open, Kai lifted a hand to his cheek to see that it was wet with tears, he looked towards the place where the blue haired boy had been only to see a shimmering silvery light dissipating.

"Aichi......... I finally got to tell you my feelings....... It isn't fair....."

Kai whispered, missing the young boy even though he had just been with him a few moments ago.

He felt as if a part of him had suddenly become missing as he got up off of the floor and walked slowly over towards his room.

Me: Aichi is gone....

Kai: ..........

Aichi: .......

Me: I guess I shouldn't expect you to say anything....

Kai: ........

Me: the story isn't over!!!

Kai: why not?..... There's no point.... He's gone......
