Jades flickered towards the ground at his friends accusation, he hated that the blond could easily see through him.

" I deserve to feel like this Miwa, after all..... It's my fault that Aichi has ended up like this...."

Grey orbs narrowed at the brunette's response as the blond dragged the brunette to his bedroom away from the blue haired boy, even though it probably wouldn't have mattered much if Aichi overheard them anyways.

"Kai, you know Aichi way better than I do, and even I know that he would have never blamed you"

The brunette winced slightly at the blond's tone, he had never heard his friend sound so serious before.

"I know....... I just....... It hurts so much to see him like that....."

The brunette's voice was little more than a whisper as he covered his left eye with the palm of his hand and shook his head.

Grey orbs softened at the brunette'a words, the blond was thankful that his childhood friend was allowing himself to confide with him.

"Of course it hurts Kai...... I would be hurting as much as you if I were in your place while someone I loved was in Aichi's condition"

Jades blinked in surprise at the blond's comment.

"You have someone?"

The blond let out a nervous laugh and hooked his arm around the brunette's shoulder.

"Anyway, we should go check on Aichi ne?"

The brunette nodded and allowed the blond to lead him back towards his living room only to see that it was empty.

"Aichi?......"

The brunette asked softly as he gazed around the room, jades settled upon the heater to see that the young boy wasn't there either.

"Uhhhhh Kai......"

The concern in the blond's tone made Kai go on edge slightly.

"Did you find him?...."

Kai asked as he went towards the front hall where Miwa was only to freeze when he saw that the front door was open.

"...... I think Aichi went outside....."

The blond murmured, his voice laced with worry for he was already fully informed of the blue haired boy's condition.

The brunette cursed softly before putting on his shoes, he noted that Aichi's shoes were still there meaning that the boy was walking around outside without any shoes.

"I'm going to go search for him...."

"Wait bring a coat, it's supposed to rain soon"

The blond said as he passed the brunette a coat, jades gazed outside to see a perfectly clear day, it didn't seem like it was going to rain but he decided that it was better safe than sorry.

The brunette ran out the door and looked around for a familiar blue haired boy, he doubted that Aichi could have gotten too far.

"I shouldn't have taught him how to open doors..... at least not until he could think for himself......."

The brunette sighed as his gaze flickered around, unfortunately, since it was indeed a nice day, there were a lot of people on the streets.

"This is bad....."

The brunette murmured as he began to run along the streets in search of Aichi, occasionally calling out the boy's name even though he knew that he wouldn't get a response.

After a while the brunette shivered slightly before a drop of rain landed on his forehead, he looked up in surprise to see that the sky had turned grey due to clouds, he hadn't noticed the weather change.

Soon after the first drop, two more came down, then five, then it began to pour.

"Aichi......."

The brunette whispered softly in slight fear, he hoped that the boy had taken refuge somewhere, yet he also doubted that the boy would even understand enough to do so.

The rainfall seemed to fill the brunette up with newfound energy to search for the boy, for he knew that being out in the rain could prove to be dangerous for the blue haired boy due to him not being able to save or produce body heat that well.

Seconds turned into minutes which swiftly transformed into hours, Kai couldn't believe that he was having such a hard time looking for a soulless boy who couldn't even move fast.

The brunette leaned against a street lamp to catch his breath after running for so long, not carrying that his hair was soaked or even about the water that was dripping into his eyes.

"Aichi......."

The brunette breathed, only to have his eyes widen at the sight of a familiar blue haired boy. Aichi was slumped against a tree with his eyes closed.

The brunette breathed a sigh of replied as he made his way over towards the boy, he then realized that he was at the park where he had taken the boy earlier.

"How'd you get all the way over here?...."

The brunette sighed as he crouched down to move a few strands of rain slick ended hair out of the boy's face.

Without waiting for a response that would most likely never come, the brunette gently nudged the boy in an attempt to wake him up.

Jades narrowed at the feel of the boy's skin, it was as cold as ice, Kai felt his heart beginning to hammer against his chest.

"No..... Aichi please open your eyes..... You've got to wake up...."

The brunette whispered softly as he grabbed the boy's shoulders and shook him.

"No no no no no...... This can't be happening....... Aichi please!....."

The brunette placed his head against the boy's chest and breathed a soft sigh of relief. There was a pulse, not a strong one, but a pulse none the less.

"You scared me........ I thought that I had lost you again......"

The brunette whispered as he placed his raincoat in the soaked boy before scooping up said boy gently in his arms before running back to his apartment with him.

He knew that the boy needed to get warm, and fast, he only hoped that he wasn't too late in finding Aichi.

"Aichi you better not die on me..... You're still needed in the world...."

The brunette murmured under his breath as he ran.

Me: that is why one should lock doors behind themselves.....

Miwa: it's not Kai's thought! Who would have expected that Aichi would decide to go on a trip?

Kai: ............

Me: hehe Kai's all sad~~~~

Miwa: *sigh* ........
