Perfect
Oh no. Oh god no. Please, God NO!
She stared in shock at the mirror, eyes wide and filled with terror. This can't be happening! I've been sticking to the meal plan, exercising daily and even using twelve separate brands of high quality cleansers. This can't be happening to me! Not now!
The cause of all the disruption sat in the centre of her face, right between her eyes. A small, red, lumpy pimple. It stood out like a flamingo among sheep against her flawless, pale skin. Now normally this wouldn't have cause such a reaction had she been someone commonplace but her face was known throughout the country, even the world as one of the best actresses and model in recent years. Each and everyone of the shows and movies she'd worked in made it to the top charts and were given the highest scores from critics and fans alike. They praised her skill, her emotion but what really sold her character was her appearance.
With snowy white skin, large eyes, hourglass figure and luscious locks, she had been rated 4th on prettiest women in the world rankings, a place that she held onto desperately. Surrounded by more and more charming females meant she worked day and night to keep up her looks. Thousands of thousands of dollars were spent on face and hair products as makeup. Two hours a day were spent exercising and another two spent getting dolled up. Daily meals were set to calories count tailored to give her just enough energy, but not enough to gain weight.
She had contemplated getting plastic surgery, but the prospect of blending to all the other fake wannabes turned her away. Instead, she forced herself into a strict schedule, each second counted for to a t. And now, with the appearance of this bulbous menace, all her hard work would wash down the drain. Covering it up with makeup and concealer did nothing. To add to her growing list of problems, the timing couldn't have been worse.
Today's schedule consisted of shooting the first of many scenes of a romance film along with many other respectable figure. Some of the country's top actors and actresses were performing and the entire country expected only the best out of them. This one blemish could ruin her entire career. If word got out that she had a pimple, her status and reputation would be demolished. There was only one way to solve this dilemma. Lie.
