9 Years Later

Sameer's Pov

I've finally turned 19 years old, completed my acting course at KNK Institute, now I just need to grab a role as the male lead, I know it's going to be difficult, but there's no harm in trying.

Mom tells me that I almost look like Dad back in the days, but I'm totally different than him. I love partying, hanging out with my friends, but never had a girlfriend. How dissapointing is that! Right now I'm going for my auditions whilst my parents are at the back cuddling together. Thier love for one another has been consistent since I was born.

Sameer: Come on Ashdeep we have finally arrived.

They all get out of the car, and Sameer looks around. The director comes to them and shakes thier hands, and allows them to come inside. The spot boy gives him the script, and shows him to the vanity van. He gets changed and starts learning his lines until he knows it properly. He comes out and a young girl bumps into him. Before she falls he catches her, moving her hair to the side. For him, she is the most beautiful girl in the world. They both stare at each other deeply, and she blushes.

Naina: Thank you for not letting me fall

Sameer: I wouldn't have let you fall, your too precious sweetheart. By the way I'm Sameer Rai

Naina: I'm Naina Singh the lead actress to this film, have you come for the auditions?

Sameer: Yes I have

They both start walking and she tells him to be calm and confident. For the first time, his parents sees him talking to a girl, which is surprising for them. Sameer introduces his parents to her

Naina: No one can forget the iconic couple Ashdeep, I'm such a huge fan of yours, and I finally get to meet you both. I'm Naina Singh.

Ashi: We have the actual Samaina standing in front of us

Randeep: But don't you think it's a coincedence? We will meet you at home, have a great day.

Sameer does his audition perfectly and gets selected for the role. He thinks Naina is his lucky charm. She is overjoyed to know that he has become the male lead.

Naina: I knew you could do it, and you didn't bring my hopes down, but pushed it higher. Can we become friends?

He nods his head and she hugs him, that touch makes his heartbeat race, and he takes the moment in by wrapping his arms around her. They both let go, and the director tells them both that shooting will start tommorow. They both wave bye and go thier seperate ways. Sameer is just thinking about Naina and the way they met today. As soon as he arrives at home, he does not take notice of his parents as he is so lost.

Randeep: Did you get selected for the role?

Sameer: I only did it for Naina, she's my lady luck

He goes upstairs into his room, and closes the door. He has never felt like this for anyone. Sameer grabs a pillow and holds it tightly. Ashi comes inside and sees her son like this. She feels that he has fallen in love but with whom? To get him out of the trance, she starts screaming.

Sameer: What happened Mom?

Ashi: Finally your talking to me, congratulations you bagged the role. Your eyes are telling me a different story

Sameer: What do you mean, my eyes are normal?

Ashi: Sameer you can't hide anything from me? Tumhe pyaar ho gaya hai?

Sameer: Pyaar aur wo bhi itni jaldi, yeh kaise ho sakta hai, we just became friends today.

Randeep: Sometimes love can happen at the first sight

Sameer: But how can I be so sure of my feelings, it takes time to realise that, and I don't know her properly?

Two Months Later

Naina and Randeep are shooting the climax scene where Deepika takes revenge on Ranbir and leaves him for another man. He tells her not to do this, but she pushes him.

Deepika: Mein tumse pyaar nahi karti hoon, kyuki tum mere laayak nahi ho aur waise bhi muhjhe gareeb log bilkul passand nahi hai

Ranbir: Toh yeh drama kyun kiya tumne? Bata deti pehle say ki yeh sab naatak hai, toh mein kabhi pyaar mein nahi parta. Tum toh ek shaitaan ho, dusro kay dard, tumhe toh bahaut khushi mil rahi hai, par yaad rakhna tumhe bahaut afsos hoga baad mein?

He starts crying bitterly, and screams her name falling on to the floor. It starts raining heavily which covers up his tears, and lifelessly walks away from there ending the shot. The unit applauds him for an outstanding single take, and is overwhelmed to see it. The director gives him a break, and he walks past Naina. A month ago, she told him that she loves someone else, and since then he has covered up his feelings really well. She has seen that he is not the same Sameer as he used to be. He just comes to do his scenes, concentrates on the emotion, and goes back home. For him it's basically the same situation in his reel and real life.

Naina: Sameer how come you don't talk to me anymore?

Sameer: I don't have the right to talk to you personally, look your boyfriend is there.

After shooting ends he arrives at home not talking to anyone and closes the door with a loud thud scaring his parents, they have never seen him this angry before. Randeep decides to talk to him.

Sameer: This love is wasting my time, for how long will I have to wait, isn't two months enough time for you God. For how long will you give me this punishment? I can't handle this pain anymore.

He starts throwing things everywhere and breaksdown into tears. His parents come into his room to see everything in a mess. Ashdeep pulls him up and makes him sit down on a chair. Ashi gives him some water, and they both can't see him in so much pain

Sameer: Pyaar itna dard kyun dayta hai? Agar pata hota yeh sab honewala hai, then I wouldn't have got trapped? I love Naina so much that it hurts, her name is everywhere, that's the only person who I can think of, have a future with, to be in a relationship with, but I don't think that is ever going to happen

Naina: I love you Sameer

She comes over to him, and he can't believe that she is here. He slowly stands up, and she comes running into his arms hugging him. Sameer now believes that this is real. He starts crying and she wipes his tears

Naina: I'm so sorry Sameer for giving you so much pain. I should have realised that your my soul mate and not that Sharad. Today I broke up with him, he dosen't like it when you come close to me, and I realised you have such a big heart, despite knowing I was with him, but you never spoke a word. Your more like an angel, and your a great example of true love.

He cups her face, and kisses her on the forehead with happy tears. She pecks his hand, and starts smiling widely at her.His parents look at him, and indicates him to forgive her.

Sameer: It's alright Naina, you don't have to say sorry. It is your choice on who you want to love, and I can't presurise you to love me, that's not love. I rather earn love then snatch it. Love has changed me a lot within these two months. But the pain of loosing your first love is heartbreaking, whenever I used to come home, I asked God what was lacking in me, but then I realised everything comes with patience.

Randeep: Idiot bolona ki tum bhi Naina say pyaar karte ho?

Sameer: Dad aap ka love confession kaha huwa tha

Randeep: Set pey

Sameer: You two were alone on the sets?

Ashi: Right

Sameer: So don't you think it would be awkward if I confess my feelings in front of you both?

Naina: There's nothing wrong if you express your feelings if your parents are here as well, it would be so unique.

Sameer bends down on one knee and holds Naina's hand...

Naina: Yes For An Eternity

Sameer takes out a red velvety box, and opens it up to show her a diomond necklace with thier ship name on it. She becomes overwhelmed, and bends down to his level

Sameer: Will you be my girlfriend?

Naina: Yes I will

Ashdeep clap for them both, but they never knew that Sameer can be this romantic. They both accept thier relationship, and now you can see the patience of expressing love.

And They All Lived Happily Ever After...
