(Solider's P.O.V)

As Torcher lead me into the lodge, he showed me a bed where I can sleep.

Torcher: "Okay, there isn't really any space for everyone to have their own personal room. But once you get to know everyone, it's not that bad."

Silas: "So.... How many soliders are here..?"

Torcher: "There is a lot, but I only know some of them."

Silas: *fiddles with his fingers nervously* "Oh, o-okay...."

Torcher: *puts a hand on Silas' shoulder* "Why are you nervous kid?"

Silas: "I'm not-t nervous...."

Torcher: "Yes you are, you're fiddling with your fingers and you're stuttering. You can't hide it, y'know."

Silas: *sighs* "Fine.... It's just that... I'm not from here, so...."

Torcher: "Oh, I understand.... Well, I bet the soliders will make your experience here better."

Silas: *smiles* "I think they will. Thanks...."

Torcher: "No problem." *Holds out his hand for Silas to take* "C'mon, I gotta introduce you to the other soliders. Don't worry, they're not bad."

Silas: *Takes his hand* "Okay... Let's go."

Torcher: *nods and smiles*

Torcher lead me outside and we both stopped at a hole in the ground.

Silas: "What are.... We doing here?"

Torcher: "Summoning the soliders..."

Silas: "Wait what?"

Torcher: *aims his flamethrower at the hole and pulls the trigger* "FIRE IN THE HOLE!"

Soliders quickly climb out of the hole, some scowling and some just smiling or laughing.

Torcher: "A little note, the ones that are laughing are the ones that I know well..."

Silas: "Very understandable...."

Some of the soliders came to the both of us and waved.

Liam: "Hey Torcher! Who's this?"

Torcher: "This is a new recruit that just came in today." *Turns to Silas* "Silas, this is Liam-" *whispers* "He's very annoying and will do countless pranks on you, so expect that..."

Liam: "HEY-"

Silas: *giggles* "Okay, warning taken."

Torcher: "Anyways.... Liam, introduce your friends to Silas so he can know them at least."

Liam: "Well, I'm Liam-" *points to different soliders* "and that is Aero (red eyes), that's Conni (a girl solider and has light blue eyes with a fade of purple), that's Robin (green eyes), and that's Vy (purple eyes with pupils shaped like an 'X'). They all have different eye colors, so it's easier to tell them apart."

Torcher: "So, there.... That's some of the soliders." *glances at the other soliders that are still scowling* "I don't think the others are in the mood of meeting you right now... So lets move on."

Torcher showed me around the place and introduced me to some other soliders on the way, before I knew it, it was getting dark outside. Torcher took me to the lodge to get some sleep.

Torcher: "Well, that was fun but I gotta go and get some rest... You have a good night's sleep alright? I'll see you tomorrow, in front of the general's office 6:00 sharp."

Silas: "Okay." *Waves* "Goodnight, Torcher!"

Torcher: *waves back* "Goodnight, kid...." *heads to his room*

Since it's getting dark, might as well get some sleep... Wait I can't, I have something to do first..... I just hope that no one gets hurt...

Silas: *Gets into bed and pretends to fall asleep*

[Time skip - 12:00 P.M]

Silas: *quietly gets up from his bed and leaves the lodge*

I can't do this... Everyone is so nice, I can't stand hurting them. Why did it have to be me?

Silas: *silently makes his way to the surrounding wall of the outpost*

Well, here goes.... I just hope that it's worth it.....

Silas: *jumps off the wall, hearing a sickening crack before blacking out*

[-Flashback-]

Silas: "You called, General..?"

???: "Oh, Silas... Come on in."

Silas pulled up a chair and sat in it.

Silas: "So, what do you need..?"

???: "I'm sending you on a secret mission, but you'll have to be careful because you are going to be undercover."

Silas: "Yes, sir."

???: "We need to destroy a weapon that is being built before it hits our country and destroys everyone. The location is in another country at a place that they call the 'Outpost.' In the Outpost, they are protecting a lab called the 'Plant.' That is where we assumed the weapon is being built. You will have to place these bombs in the Outpost but be careful, they have underground passages beneath some buildings. So hide them well.... Make sure that they are under the surrounding walls so when we come, it will be easy to enter the place and hold off the soliders while another team locates the weapon and destroys it. The bombs can detonate by anyone, and you have to make sure that doesn't happen until MY signal. Your job is very important, so I'm counting on you. Don't screw this up, alright?"

Silas: "Yes, sir."

???: "But first, I'll need you to break your leg."

Silas: "Why..?"

???: "All of their soliders look the same, so breaking your leg will be the only way that we could tell you apart from everyone else."

Silas: "Alright."

???: "Don't worry, it'll heal someday. Just do this successfully and come back, okay?"

Silas: "Yes, sir."

???: "Good, I wish you the best of luck, and I pray for your safety."

Silas: "Thank you, father...."

???: "Alright, dismissed."

Silas gets up from his chair and leaves.
