OK so i dont get why people had jared so much. He did nothing in the play but joke around and help evan until evan starts ignoring him for zoey and then evan rubs it in jareds face that he has no other friends. And yes you could argue that since jared isnt a main character it wouldnt show his friends, but I'd like to add as a rebuddle jared IS a main character  he has more screentime than connor (as in when he is alive, ans himself, not just the personified, glorified image of him evan made up), so yes i would argue he is a main AND VERY IMPORTANt character since he, alana and Heidi(evans mom) all get their own song, talking about how this situation has changed evan. Dont get me wrong evan was thrown into this without a choice, but jared couldn't help it, and that whole "nod and confirm" works. Try it sometime if you get the chance anyway im done
