Wow, How Long Has It Been Since I've Published Traditional Art?
I like how the titles of my chapters are beginning to not even be about the piece itself.
Oh, and, I'm actually going to color this one in. I just felt I needed to publish it right away. It's the first time I've actually used my new outlining pens.
The spur-of-the-moment idea I was kind of going for was...mercenary. A dropout at a prestigious magic school, Claire goes about her days fighting monsters and pretending she still has someone left to go back to.
It's kind of funny that the song I kept on looping for inspiration was this one, considering the meaning (I get emotional every time I hear it) (actually imagine your friends doing that for you!) (it's heartbreaking):

English lyrics can be turned on, so you won't be confused!
Note that this one is a cover, and not the original. The visuals were created entirely by this group (but all of their covers are so good).
But if you're on a tablet or something, here's another version with different singers, but the visuals from the original song. It's entirely in English!

I like to think that the shepherd boy was the seamstress's oldest and closest friend, and took the most time to muster up his courage and part ways forever.
Now...I kind of messaged one of my friends a bunch of texts over the meaning behind the song, and it was really long, so if you're reading this, supersoccerskillz, I apologize xd. But hey, if you were confused, now you can listen to the...English...version of the song...?
Anyway.
Fun fact about Claire:
As confident as she is, she'll purposely do backflips and intricate moves when she's fighting, because she's just that extra, and she knows it.
