100 comments, isn't that wild

If you just want the art, you can scroll on down :>

You heard it here, folks. I'm not celebrating reads or votes right now—I'm celebrating comments. That's nothing too special, but I feel the need to address something.

At the time of reading this, we could have had 101 comments, or 99, but no. A perfect 100. And I would just like to say thanks to everybody who commented on this lil art book of mine. Just a little encouragement goes a long way—especially with the early stages of this book, from 2015 (my goodness, that seems like a lifetime ago). Back then, the smallest comment brightened up my blooming young self, and with every one I strived to improve. I still do. I'm working harder than ever, and it's been a blast.

I know not a lot of people read this (a lot of people probably don't care, and that's alright) but for the guys that've stuck around: You're awesome. Awesome for surviving through my Needs Improvement art and OC rants and that one short story I'm still proud of...

It's been wonderful. And (this includes you, real life friends) you have no idea how much you've encouraged me to put my art out more.

So thank you :>

And now, because this is an art book, and because ranting about how comments warm one's heart defeats the purpose of an art book, might as well show off my latest piece.

I love Vocaloid—and I love Gakupo—to bits. His entire presence in The Last Supper by VanaN'Ice and SCL Project (which is one of my favorite songs by the way) is beautiful.

Roses and long hair and shades of purple are all things that I adore; so this was quite the passion project for me, and I finished him much quicker than I expected. It also turned out much better than I expected (I even liked the line art more than the sketch, which is something).

All I can say is "that's a lot of purple."
