Karishma busy with her work, & her cell rings with a video call of Haseena, first she surprised by sudden & most first video call of Haseena, & she picked up her call with a smile, "hello" & Karishma confused by the paper shows on screen, "Haseena shayad se tumne pichle wala camera on kiya hai", & suddenly Haseena appeared on screen with a smile, "shayad se nahi, maine intentionally kiya tha, phir se dekho kya hai" & again she turned her camera towards the paper, & Karishma started to read, & her eyes fill with happiness, "tumhe invitation aaya hai, Singapore se doctors conference ke liye" & Haseena shows her face with smile, "kab bulaya hai" "next week", "oh" Karishma react little sadly, "kya hua, abhi toh khush thi", "nahi, aisi baat nahi hai, I mean next week, woh maine socha tha hum doono bahar jaayenge, bas iss liye aur kuch nahi", "bas itni si baat, ek kaam karte hai, hum doono yeh letter aaj shaam ko bahar dinner karke celebrate karte hai", Karishma quickly says with excited smile, "no, no, abhi celebrate kare rahe hai, tum abhi mere office aa rahi ho, hum doono lunch ek saath kar rahe hai, mai hum doono ka favorite lunch order karti hun", "ahh, give me some moment" & Haseena walks into the cabin of doctor, & asked for some hour leave, while she shows Karishma on call, & the man agrees with a smile, & Haseena coming out of the room "I am coming", & Karishma's lips curved into smile, "I am waiting"

The rain started in-between way. Haseena parked the car, near Karishma's office building, & looked out through the glass, "please stop raining, till I reach the building" but there was no sign to stop, & Haseena got out of the car, & runs towards the building, & she wet a little, & entered the elevator..

Karishma arranged the chair near the small table, where they gonna have lunch, & a soft knock on the door grabbed Karishma's attention, & looks Haseena peeped in, "aa jaao" & Karishma's happy eyes turned into worried, "bheeg kaise gayi, umbrella nahi tha car mei", "relax I am good", & Haseena pulled her jacket, & spread on chair's head, & take a seat, while she dries her hair by setting them, & Karishma says, "ruko", & she suddenly sides her scarf from neck, & Haseena started to stare at Karishma, without saying a word, & Karishma started dry Haseena's hair, after she satisfies by that hair is dry, & she adjusts her scarf around her neck, & Haseena asked with a smile, "what did you order", "usual your favourite pasta, & fried chicken", "wow", & they take a seat on the chair, & Haseena take a smell of food & says, "nahh, these food has no smell like your food", & Karishma smiles, & asked, "so next week kitne dinno ke liye tum nahi rahogi"

"why don't join me", & Karishma looked at Haseena with a surprised eye, "yeah, I mean mai poore 7 days ke liye nahi rahungi, aur waha par conference ke baad koi toh chahiye na mere saath ghumne ke liye" & Karishma cross her arms, & started to stare at Haseena, "mazak kar rahi thi, tum aise arms ko takleef mat do" she pocking Karishma's arm with a smile..

At the same time, the cabin door knocked, & Haseena stopped tickling Karishma, & a man peeped in, & Karishma looked at Haseena once, & he little confused by a new face in Karishma's cabin, & Karishma said, "Ked, hi", "hi" he says with little hesitation tone, "actually I came here to ask for lunch, but I guess", "ahem, I am taking a lunch with my fiancée, she got an invitation letter from doctors conference, where all country's best doctors will be available, so, I am sorry" Karishma says with a smile, & Ked left the place, "why" Karishma rolls her eyes towards Haseena, "why means, I wanted to cut off his branches, which were growing day by day, now he got the answer", "tum aisi kiu ho", Karishma gives a confused look, "means, hum doono ne kuch rule set kiye the, ussmei se koi bhi used nahi huye, kiu", "mai insan hun, jise khaana khilana pasand hai, aur tumhe khaana pasand hai, itna toh easy hai" Haseena nods only, "ab khaana shuru karo, koi call aane se pehle" & they both smiles at each other..

The flight day, Karishma checking out each bag, & handover Haseena's small hand bag, & says, "issmei precaution ke liye medicine hai, issmei hi passport, visa aur baki papers ki file bhi hai, taake last moment par kahi aur dhudne na lag jaao, most important, copies wali file hai, original bag mei rakhi hai, nahi toh tum pareshaan hogi", "okay mommy", & Karishma slapped on Haseena's arm, who calling her mommy in front of Sam & Priya, "maar kiu rahi ho, tum behave hi aisa kar rahi ho, jaise ke mai choti bacchi hun, aur mai inn sab ko lekar responsible hun, aur ek doctor ko kon dawai precaution ke tuar par deta hai, waha par kuch hota bhi hai toh best doctor ki line lag jaayegi" & she shut her mouth look after Karishma dead glare, & Karishma walks into her room, & Haseena looks at her friends, with glare at her with a mischief smile, "mommy", "well ek baat baata deti hun, bhale hi tum badi dhurandar doctor ho, lekin iss ghar ki aur tumhare life ki doctor Karishma hi hai" Priya says with a smile, & she share a hi-fi with Sam, & Haseena smiles with blushed cheek, "ahh, somebody is blushing", "shut up", & Karishma comes back, & says, "this is for you", & Haseena looks at the box, & Karishma open it, a simple rose gold butterfly pendent tuck it in box, "it's beautiful", & Karishma smiles, & untied from box, & carefully makes wear around Haseena's neck, while Haseena closed her eyes, & inhale Karishma scent & Karishma says, "issye har roz pehena, aur har ek shirt par yeh suit hoga" & she little away herself from Haseena, & Haseena blink her eyes, "abhi niklo, warna late hoga", & Haseena shook her head, & Haseena carefully gives a hugged to Karishma, but Karishma tight her arms around Haseena's waist, & Haseena too tight her arms, & whispered, "will miss you", & Haseena break the hugged, & bid bye to Karishma..

For six days, they connected through video calls, & messages, once Haseena's conference was done, first, she dialled the number of Karishma, to tell her about her day at the conference, & Karishma tells about her day, & they talked endlessly..

On day 7, Karishma dialled the number of Haseena, it was switched off, & says to herself, "itne jaldi conference shuru ho gayi aaj" & she checked the date, "argh, it's your special day, Ms. Surgeon, phone toh shuru karo", & she turned towards bowl of cake batter, & oven beeps, & she pullout tray from oven, & smells it, "perfect cookies" & she set the cake batter to mould, & keep it in oven with a smile..

Karishma dialled Haseena's number again, but it was still switched off, & she looked at her cell with a sad grin, & looked at no cream cake, & sighed, & started to icing cake with cream..

Open door rings, & Karishma confusingly comes out of the kitchen & looks at the figure, & surprised by the presence of Haseena, who lets down her shoes silently, "tum, parso aane wali thi na", & Haseena smiles at Karishma, & comes near her, & gives a hug with a smile, after some moment, Haseena break the hugged & says, "haan, phir socha, party ke liye kiu rukna, toh aa gayi, waise bhi waha ka khaana mujhe accha nahi laga", & Karishma smiles, "kuch banaya hai kya, smells so good"

"get fresh first" & Haseena shook her head, & quickly runs towards the kitchen, "Haseena bilkul bhi kisi chiz ko choona mat" Karishma says with stern tone, but time has passed, Haseena's finger deep in decorated cake, & she read some alphabets, 'happ', & she looks at Karishma with confusion, "tumhara birthday hai" Haseena asked with excited tone, "well happy birthday" Karishma says with a smile & Haseena checks out the date, "I turned 30, no", "yes, you turned 30, aur subhe se iss liye phone kar rahi thi taake wish kar saku, lekin tum toh tum ho, phone band karke baithi thi", "yeh nahi dikh raha hai, ke mai samne hun, mera birthday tum ek, ek call pe nipata rahi thi", "itne ghatiya dialogue tumhare dimag mei aate kaha se hai", "the cake looks good", "kya fyda, mai tumhe surprise karne wali thi, lekin mai khud surprise ho gayi", "lekin abhi tak poora nahi hua hai, toh tum issye poora karo, mai yuh jaati hun, aur yuh aati hun, tab tum mujhe surprise kar dena", & they smiles, & Karishma shook her head with a smile, & Haseena shared a side hugged, & looks at the cake, & says, "well, I hate to celebrate my birthdays", Karishma looks at Haseena, & says, "I know, mom told me, that's why only we are celebrating your birthday", "oh" Haseena whispered & they smiles, "jaldi aati hun"

Karishma set the cake in the living area near the couch on a small table, & lit some candles, Haseena came out of the room in casual wear, & looked at the surrounding atmosphere, dim lights with a cold AC breeze, & Karishma seated on the floor near the table, & she shares a soft smile, & Haseena take a seat beside the table, & says, "I am surprised, thank you", "let's click one picture" & Karishma click a selfie with Haseena, "ek cake ke saath", & Haseena carefully picks up cake in her hand, & open her mouth with happiness & Karishma click a picture, "come here" & Haseena pulls Karishma near her, & says, "hum doono ki picture cake ke saath" & Haseena round her arm around Karishma's shoulder, & Karishma stare at Haseena for a moment, & then click a picture, "it's our first picture together" & Haseena softly smiles..

Haseena keep the cake on table, & Karishma siad, "wish", & Haseena nods & join her hands with closed eyes, & Karishma only stare at Haseena with a soft smile, & Haseena open her eyes, & blow the candle, Karishma sign for Haseena, & Haseena cut the cake, & first feed to Karishma, & same piece Karishma feed to Haseena, "ahem, I wanted to scream to world, want to tell them my to be wife is a best chef", & she looks at Karishma, & asked, "poora khaa sakti hun na", & Karishma nods a little, "thank you", "one minute", & Karishma walks into her room, & comes back with a box, & gives it to Haseena, "aur ek gift", "kholo toh", & Haseena carefully unpacking the gift, & Karishma snatch it from Haseena's hand, unpack it, quickly & get back the box to Haseena, & Haseena open the box, & looks at Karishma, "yeh tum hospital mei pehnogi, issye tumhare paire ko swelling nahi aayegi, it is specially designed for doctors", & Haseena stay quiet, "pasand nahi aaya", "I love it a lot" & Haseena smiles, "thank you to celebrate your birthday with me" Karishma says with a smile, "what will be my returned gift", "ahhh, return gift, what do you want", Karishma sighs, & says, "a day out with me, at least dinner, & movie", "okay done"
