The night was a memorable one for Manik and Nandini. They got to know so much about each other , about likes , dislikes, friends,  family, work. Also they opened their hearts about their feelings for each other.

Nandini wakes up first only to blush early morning seeing their position and how could she miss the cute boy who looked much cuter sleeping. His hold was tight on her waist and she was struggling to come out carefully as she did not want to wake him up. She wanted to leave without anyone noticing them there. However, Manik woke up cribbing. He noticed Nandini looking at her blushingly and then he noticed their position. He did not mind but he did not want to make it awkward for Nandini and so he got up. Nandini got up too and to avoid more awkwardness she decided to leave when she heard Manik.

Manik: Friends are allowed to cuddle. She looked at him , smiled.

Nandini: Ofcourse. Well functions are starting from today. We have a puja today and some announcement from Mamma,Papa, Uncle Aunty.

Manik: Announcement?

Nandini: Yeah they said they want to talk to us about something. Go get ready.

Manik: HMM, umm Nandini only if u don't mind can u wear Red today?

Nandini: (smiled as she remembered its his fav color): I will

And she left.

Manik: What did I just do? Did I make her uncomfortable..NO but she smiled na. 

Nandini: Stop thinking and move MALHOTRA

Manik: haan haan 

And they went to freshen up.

Nandini wore her red dress while Manik was in a red kurta too.

Manik was just stunned seeing her, she will be his death some day.
Manik: U look gorgeous and he was still checking her out.
Nandini: ummm thankyou u too.
She noticed him staring,she coughed
..
They smiled as it was definitely not awkward.
They first went to their parents.

Nandini hugged her parents and NYONIKA,RAJ too.

Manik smiled seeing that. He greeted them too when they asked him to settle down.

Nyonika: Dekho baccho listen to us first and then take a decision okay?

Manan were confused but nodded.

Ishita: Kids we want u both to get married only if u both agree. We were talking about this from quite a few days and now even MA has agreed so its ur decision now. 

Manik and Nandini were startled but happy too. They did not have a problem in sharing their lives with each other and infact they could not have got anyone better too.

Raj: Guys u can take ur time, We are not forcing you for anything. 

Raman: Yeah we just wish for the best for u people and no one can be better than Manik Nandu.

Nyonika: YEA likewise Manik Nandini is the best for u and we love her already.

Nandini and Manik share a look and decide to give it a chance only after talking once.

Nandini: Mamma Papa We will let u know.

Mamma: OKAY beta.

They left for doing preparations for the puja.

Manik and Nandini were alone in the room.

MANIK: Nandini its a YES from me. I already like you and I have told u this before. But this does not mean u have to say YES too. Do what u feel is right. All that I can promise is this wont affect our friendship and having u as my WIFE is all i could have ever asked for but foremost I don't want to lose a friend please.

Nandini was touched.

Nandini: Manik I like you too and I mean it. Having u as a friend was the best and having u as my HUSBAND, a blessing.

Ofcourse its a YES.

Manik was surprised, he was happy, joyed ,excited and he hugged her.

Manik: Thankyou so much for giving me a chance Nandini.

NANDINI hugged him back.

Nandini: I gave us a chance Manik and I am sure we are meant to be.

Manik broke the hug but still eyes in eyes smiling. He kissed her forehead.

Manik: Lets tell everyone?

Nandini: Yeah...chale?

hmm...and they descended down the stairs.

Manik: ummm Mom Dad and he had everyone's attention.He looked at Nandini she nodded.

Nyonika: bolo beta

he continued: We are ready mom, we will marry each other. 

Nandini: YES mamma papa, We want it to happen.

Ishita and Nyonika hugged each other immediately. Raj and Raman came towards them.

Raj hugged Nandini while Raman hugged Manik. Manik did notice Raman's eyes tearing up. 

Manik: Uncle ur daughter will never cry, I cant promise that but she will always have me by her side on her low days, I PROMISE.

Raman : I know beta...Aur Uncle nhi Papa bol pagle

Manik smiled and nodded.

Raj and Nyonika were proud of their son.

Raj: Nandini u are calling me DAD too...We promise to keep u happy beta. 

Nyonika:  Haan Nandini. I am always there for you.

Nandini hugged them both. All of them were happy.

Radhika came down calling for Manik Uncle.

Radhika: Uncle see my drawing.

Naira: Uncle nahi Mausa bol ab

Manik: Ewww no Radhika u call me whatever u want to but no MAUSA okay?

Radhika: Okay ummmmm I will call u Mama.

Cabir: Are nhi phir Nandini,Manik bhai behen ho jayenge beta.

All others laughed.Manik said immedately: NO MAMA. Uncle is fine for now.

Radhika: OKAY OKAY

NAIRA hugged Nandini:   I m so happy for u diiii....CONGRATULATIONS...

Nandini: I Love You and they hugged again.

Abhimanyu came forward...u happy na?

Nandini: I am Bhai.

Abhi met Manik and congratulated him too.

Naira: Hey JIJU

MANIK: HEY laughingly and he side hugged too.

SUMITRA blessed them too.

Nyonika: Ok so Roka kal kar dete h kyu Ishita?

Ishita: Haa haa why not...for now chalo puja me baitho...Manik Nandini sit together okay.

Pandit Ji started with his mantras.

Manik ,Nandini on one side and Kartik ,Naira the other side.

Nandini was praying for the new relationships to work efficiently..

NANDINI: Itni shakti dena bhagwaan ji ki sabki expectations pe khadi ho pau....naye rishte sambhal pau aur Manik aur apne rishte ko aur mazboot kar pau.

Manik prayed too.

Manik: Itni himmat dena bhagwaan ji ki Nandini ko khush rakh pau..Papa ko diya promise pura kar pau.

And the puja came to an end. 

Naira and Kartik prayed for their relationship to grow stronger and all the parents prayed for their children's happiness.

They were all in the living room enjoying when Aryaman(Naira's friend0 came in. Naira hugged him, Kartik met him too. Nandini hugged him next and this caught Manik's eyes. Manik was a bit jealous maybe but soon a thought crossed him and he let it go but his temper rose to heights when he heard some ladies talking.

'Dekho to ladki ko abhi shaadi tay hui phir bhi gale lag rahi hain. Sharam nhi aati hain aaj kal ki ladkiyon ko. Ladke ka parivaar bhi h yaha kuch to sharam kare'

That disturbed Manik and he wanted to shut their mouths then and there but he somehow controlled not to create a drama there.

His mood was spoiled completely now. Smile was a way gone business. He stormed upstairs to control himself out of everyone's notice but how could Nandini miss him when she was just staring at him. She followed him to the terrace too.

Manik was sitting on the swing with closed eyes.

Nandini was standing there. He seemed to be disturbed.

Manik: U can come near me Nandini.

Nandini was surprised. She came and sat beside him.

Nandini: How did u know it was me? ur eyes were closed Manik..dont tell me u have some superpowers and I am marrying a mysterious man.

Manik: Whatttt listen Cabir se door raho uski tarah baatei kar rahi ho.. I dont need to see you to know its you okay. I can feel it.

Nandini: Oh feellll anyways kya hua? dare u lie 

Manik: Kuch nahi

Nandini: Dont tell me u were jealous Manik...come on Aryaman is a friend.

Manik got up and stood near the railing.

Nandini: Manikkk look at me na....The Manik Malhotra is jealous ha

Manik(Facing her): Nandini if this would have happened yesterday, trust me I would have killed him but today, its different. I know you are mine now for eternity and when I already know you are mine, why will I be jealous? 

Nandini was speechless.

Nandini: What did I do to get u ha....such an understanding man.

Manik: Well I will take that as a compliment.

Nandini: It was one, Manik why are you disturbed then?

Manik told her everything.

Nandini was stuned to see him affected cause it was about her. She hugged him .

Manik hugged her too. They both needed it.

Nandini: Manik we cant get affected with every negative person around na. We cant please everyone and nor do we need to. You understand me and I dont care about those ladies who care about nothing but their gossips. This is not right and my Manik is strong.

He understood and was amazed to see her maturity too. He kissed her forehead again and hugged her.

after some time,

Manik: Vaise what did u say? your MANIK hmm So I am yours?

Nandini: Yup only mine and she snuggled more in him while he smiled kissing her head again.
