"Navya,here are your clothes for the evening" said Nandini entering her room

"Keep them on the table Nandini,thank you" said  Navya busy on her phone

Nandini felt awkward and strange. Nevertheless, she kept the clothes on the dressing

"Do you need anything Navya? I hope you are okay here. If you need any-" 

"Its my house as well Nandini, I can take whatever I want to, you don't need to worry about me and if you are saying all this to make me feel that you are the real daughter-in-law of this house and not me, then I feel sorry for you" said Navya coldly 

"What? Are you out of your mind? Why would I do that?" asked Nandini taken aback

"Stop pretending Nandini and even if you won't, in a matter of few days everyone around will make me feel that after all fact remains ki Cabir adopted hai to us hisaab se hamara koi hak nahi hai yaha" said Navya getting up and marching towards her closet

"You know me, don't you? But let me tell you, I don't know you at all. Its an all together different face that you are showing me right now" said Nandini

"Nandini, kuch dino baad tum bhi badal hi jaogi na, dusra chehra to yaha sabka time ke saath hi saamne aayega" said Navya going in the washroom.

It was clear now. Nandini knew Navya was insecure due to the fact that Cabir was adopted but no one ever made her feel so, its all build up inside her and none but Navya can do anything about that .

"Nandini,  can you please ask Navya to get ready , we need to leave for the reception before 7" said Nyonika as she was busy in the kitchen. Nandini hesitated as after her morning confrontation Navya, she had decided to be out of her way.

"Mamma, I will look after the kitchen , you go na" said Nandini lighting the gas and putting the vegetables to boil while Nyonika stood observing her

"What  happened baby?" asked Nyonika 

"Nothing mamma, if you go and help her get ready you would be able to spend some time with her and she would be....she would be more comfortable here" said Nandini looking at Nyonika as she nodded and went up, not convinced at all.

"Navya, did you say anything to Nandini?" asked Nyonika making Navya stop wearing her jewellery and facing her.

"So she complained about me mom? and you are here to teach me a lesson about the same" asked Navya

"What? No she did not say anything to me but I know there is something wrong" said Nyonika observing her strange behaviour

"Don't side her mom. As I had said, she's showing her colours, trying to instigate you against me" said Navya

"Shut up Navya. I don't know what's leading you to say all this stuff but let me make this very clear, Nandini as well as you are equal in this house and from our side, nothing will ever make you feel inferior to her but if you have this already settled in your mind that you are not being treated right infront of her then nothing can help you. I am going to get ready" said Nyonika in a not loud but commanding voice while Navya sat defeated. Nyonika's words did not help her insecurity at all and in fact, just boosted it further.

"I will se you here at the venue directly, come soon:)" read Manik's message to Nandini who smiled at it and went to get ready. She was draped in her saree when Mukti and Alya barged in the room with their outfits in their hands.

"This saree is just impossible" said Alya frustratingly

"You can take something else Alya" said Nandini

"No no not like that, I like this saree but I am not able to wear it Nandini" said Alya

"SAMEEE" exclaimed Mukti while Nandini chuckled at the two.

"I'll help you" said Nandini helping them drape the sarees as the three then continued with their makeup real quick to avoid being late.

"Oh my gosh, we look so pretty" said Mukti as the three stood infront of the mirror taking selfies.

"I am posting this picture that Aunty took of us" said Alya showing them the picture that Nyonika clicked for them a few minutes back before going to get ready. 

"Shall we go and check on Navya?" asked Mukti

"I did go but the room was locked so I thought of not disturbing her" said Alya editing the picture with filters

"Oh" said Mukti while Nandini sat silent

"Accha haan, Nandini how is Naira? Manik told me that she was not well and so she did not come for the wedding" asked Mukti while Nandini had no answer to the question.

It had been one month of Naira's pregnancy and she still had not disclosed it. Inspite of Nandini insisting her to, she did not. Though Naira assured her that it was all fine between her and Kartik, Nandini did not know why but she was not able to believe it cause if it was so, why did Naira not seem happy . She even asked her about the same several times but she managed to dodge the question everytime.

"She is better Mukti, she said she will come soon" lied Nandini while Mukti nodded at her.
