Third person pov
Emerald sat on the couch and watched tv,thinking about how long it had been since she came here,it had been what ten years? And she could never forget the day she came here,to the Autobot base,it was like yesterday,she was thirteen,Emerald closed her eyes and thought back to that day.

*Flashback*

Emeralds pov
"Run,run,dont stop"  I thought as I ran through the woods. I have to get away from him,that evil man of a stepfather,I cant stop,I wont stop,keep going. I thought mentally encouraging myself to keep going. But I could feel the tiredness in my body,but I kept going. But then my body gave out and I fell on the ground,I heard someone coming and tried to get up,but fell again. My eyes started to close and the last thing I remember before passing out was seeing a pair of bright blue eyes looking over me.

Third person pov
Emerald opened her eyes as she heard the sounds of the Autobots returning. She turned around to see that Arcee,Bulkhead,and Bumblebee had come back with the children. Miko hopped out of Bulkhead with a smile and waved "Hi Miss Emerald" She said.Emerald walked down to the children "Hello Miko" she said. Then Jack got off Arcee and took off his helmet "Hello Miss Emerald ma'am" he said with a smile. She turned and greeted jack "Hello Jackson" she said,she always called Jack by his full name,but Jack didnt seem to  mind. Next little Raf jumped out of Bumblebee and ran to hug Emerald,Emerald got down on her knees as Raf ran into her giving her a bear hug. "Hello Miss Emerald,How was your day?" He asked. Emerald chuckled "Hello Rafael,My day was fine" she said as she hugged him back. "Good" he said "I always want you to have a good day". After he pulled away Raf went to watch tv with the other children. Emerald looked at the three bots and asked. "Did you see anything?" Arcee spoke "Sorry Emmie,Nothing not a sign of him." Arcee said. Emerald cursed "Scrap." Optimus had been gone for almost ten weeks,and Emerald was starting to worry about her big brother,and she wasnt the only one. Arcee was worrying too,she hadnt seen nor heard from her sparkmate and she feared the worst. "He'll be alright." Bulkhead reasured "This is Prime we are talking about here". "I hope you are right Bulk." Arcee stated.

-A few hours later-

*This is Ratchet I need a groundbridge and fast* Ratchet commed. Arcee immediately opened a bridge and Ratchet walked through carrying a wounded Optimus. "Make room,make room he has lost alot of energon." Ratchet said. Arcee put her hands to her mouth and ran from the room,tears streaming down her face. Ratchet layed Optimus down on the medical berth. "Bulkhead,Bumblebee go and check on her please." He asked as he patched Optimus up.Bulkhead and Bumblebee left to go calm Arcee down. After Ratchet was done he sat down and he looked at his old friend and then at Emerald. "Ratchet what happened,where has he been?" She asked. "He was.......looking for energon and he was attacked by a bunch of decepticons." Ratchet said "I can only imagine how much you and Arcee have worried." Ratchet stated with a sigh. Suddenly they heard a groan and saw Optimus open his eyes and try to move."Ep,ep,ep dont you move Optimus you will reopen those wounds of yours." Ratchet said. "Arcee......where is she....I need to see her." Optimus asked. "She has been worried sick about you and so have I." Emerald said. Optimus looked down at Emerald with sad eyes. "Im truly sorry Emerald,I didnt mean to worry anyone." Optimus quickly apologized. Suddenly Arcee ran and smashed into Optimus knocking him on his back. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED IVE BEEN?!" She yelled. "Arcee Im sorry for worrying you love." Optimus apologized hugging her and kissing her in the forehead. Suddenly an alarm went off. "Its an energon signal." Ratchet said. "Ill go." Emerald said. "Emerald......are you sure?" Optimus asked. "Yes Optimus Im sure,you stay here and rest." She said with a smile. "Ratchet open me a groundbridge." Ratchet typed in the coordinates and activated the bridge. "Be careful Emerald." He said. Emerald chuckled "Ill try." She said. Emerald walked through the bridge,hopeing that the decepticons were not there. Little did she know that on the otherside was the one person that would change her life....forever.
