13: Flashback
{Still No ones POV}
[Flashback]
It was just Nadia and her mother walking threw the thick woods behind her house. It was snowing and the wind was blowing against them. As they stood their, Nadia could see her mothers features. She was a wolf monster with long white hair and blue eyes.
As thew two walked further and further, little Nadia had this strange feeling going threw her body, but she didn't know what it was. They stopped onto of a hill that faced a tall mountain. Nadia had sat down and looked up at the stars. It was a crescent moon out, matching her little moon shaped birthmark on her forehead. Her mother looked up with her and wrapped her tail around her waist, dragging her closer.
"Look up at the stars my little angel. They remind me of you."
"Why?"
"Your bright, and my moon princess."
She just giggled at her mothers response. Even if she was a year old at the time, her speech was slower and she had trouble walking on her own. Her brown eyes gazed to her mother. She was the only monster living on the surface, well hiding on the surface. Everyday she would tell her stories about the war and what monsters were like in person. She told her about mercy and soul traits. As they laughed at each other, her mothers ears shot up and she sat in a defensive position.
"Nadia, get behind me."
She did as she was told as her mother started growling at the bushes. Standing there was her father with a sharp knife in one hand and a bat in the other. His green eyes glowed as he flashed an insane smile. Nadia was scared for her life as her mother just stood there.
"You really thought you could get away from me that easily Angel?"
"I'm done with you hurting our daughter John, I'm leaving and taking her somewhere safe."
" That 'thing' is not my daughter, and your not going anywhere."
It happened before she could blink. He had threw the knife and it had hit Nadia in the stomach. She cried out in pain as Angle jumped on him. The knife went right threw her small body. She was lying on the ground while her mother was fighting the man she called a father. She managed to look up and saw him bring out the metal bat and swing it at her mothers head. She was sent flying into the spot in front of Nadia. Her brown eyes were stuck on her mother as blood rolled down her head. She tried to get up, but John put his foot on her back, pinning her down. He grabbed Nadia by her hair and threw her down the hill into a tree. Her vision went blurry, but she saw the shadow of John swinging the bat onto her mothers head again, making her cry out. As he kept on doing it, multiple cracks could be heard as Nadia had tear pouring down her face as she screamed for him to stop. After a while, her vision came back, and she crawled up to her mother with the knife still in her stomach. She stopped as she noticed all the blood coming from her body. Her face was pale and her eyes dull, and she wasn't breathing. John was covered in he blood as he just smiled at his work. Nadia's eyes were now a dull brown and her mouth hung open. The last thing she remembered was something hitting her head as she blacked out.
