Soobin and Yeonjun were together on the porch, watching Beomgyu, Kai, Taehyun, and Chin-Hae run around in the sand and water.

"So...want to talk about it?", Yeonjun asked.

"About what?"

"Kai being sick, and the doctors appointment. How is everything going?"

"Well, we must seem to be having a stroke of luck after everything that has happened. The doctor wants to see him back in two weeks."

The previous morning, Soobin had taken Kai to the doctors appointment that the maknae scheduled for himself.

Luckily, Kai's primary doctor was able to give him some help in an attempt to stop his illness in its tracks.

He was advised to stay under supervision (which Soobin already did every day) and take the medication he was prescribed.

The members didn't know how long they would stay at the beach house, but it had now been around a week, and the boys didn't want to go home anytime soon.

Beomgyu came running up to them.

"Yeonjun hyung, Taehyun told me that there are giant octopus creatures in the water and now I'm scared."

"You...believe him?", Yeonjun responded.

"Of course I do! The ocean is dangerous, no telling what else is down there!"

Soobin and Yeonjun looked at each other, the back to Beomgyu.

"Well I guess we will have to see.", Yeonjun said.

"Good."

Beomgyu ran off back to the other boys as Yeonjun and Soobin stood to follow him.

But before Yeonjun could walk off, Soobin stopped him.

"Yeonjun...there is also something else I wanted to talk to you about."

"Really? What is it?"

"I've been thinking about something. The night of the accident."

"Yeah?"

"Did you read the vehicle damage report?"

"No need. The car was totaled."

"I guessed so. But, there was something in that report. Something that has been on my mind for the last week and a half."

Yeonjun had a look of confusion on his face.

"Beomgyu was wearing his seatbelt, right?"

"Yeah. He was."

"According to the report. The seatbelt was broken. But it wasn't totally because of the crash. It had a clean cut across it, as if someone had partially cut it with the intention of the person in that seat, in case of an accident, breaking out of the seatbelt and hitting the dashboard."

"So what are you trying to say? You think someone wanted us to crash?"

"I'm saying they were prepared in case you did. There's no way they couldn't have predicted a drunk driver."

Yeonjun looked out at the boys running in the sand and Beomgyu avoiding the ocean like the plague.

"Who would do that?"

"I don't know. I just felt like I should tell you. I probably should have said something sooner...but we were all dealing with something."

"It's okay. And look, the good thing is that Beomgyu survived. Let's not worry about anything else."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Come on Soobin. Let's not be sad today. Let's go have fun!"

Yeonjun ran off into the sand.

Soobin smiled, following him.

The group of boys chased each other, tossed sand in one another's hair, and just had a good time, a stress relieving time.

Little Kai ran up to Soobin.

"I throw sand at chu daddy."

"Come on Kai, I just washed my hair-"

Kai picked up a handful of sand.

"Kai..."

The little raised his hand.

As he did, Soobin took off running.

Kai chased him as they went towards the water.

Soobin ran into the water, turning around and catching Kai before the little could throw the sand, tackling him into the water.

"Haha! No sand in my hair! You failed little penguin.", Soobin said.

Kai laughed, looking up at Soobin.

"You're so cute, Kai."

"Thank chu daddy!"

Soobin let Kai get up. The little felt something under his leg.

When he lifted his leg up, there was none other than a crab crawling right under him.

"Ahhhhhh!", he screamed, getting up and running.

Soobin laughed, standing up. He waved goodbye to the crab and apologized to it for having the poor thing nearly squished by Kai.

The caregiver went after Kai, who was using Chin-Hae as a shield.

"Get it!", Kai yelled.

"Ah, Kai, it's just a crab.", Chin-Hae replied.

"Noooooo! He pinch me!"

"Did it hurt you Kai?", Soobin asked, walking up.

The little came from behind Chin-Hae, running to Soobin and hugging him.

"Aww, my poor angel. You got scared huh?"

Kai nodded his head yes, hiding it in Soobin's shoulder.

"I guess it's time to go inside then.", Taehyun said.

The boys used the hose outside to clean the sand off of themselves before drying off as much as they could to go inside.

It was becoming late afternoon, and Soobin decided it was prime time for Little Kai to get some sleep.

They were all trying to improve their sleeping schedules, seeing as they had recently developed habits of staying up late together, watching kdramas.

"Awwwww, don't pout darling. I'll have to go tell that mean crab he made you sad."

Kai watched Soobin walk around the bedroom, making sure it was perfectly set up for sleep.

The fan was on, blankets were piled, and the little himself was changing clothes into his pajamas.

"Do you want a bottle, angel?", Soobin asked as Kai finished changing.

The little nodded, climbing into the bed.

"Adorable. I'll be right back."

Soobin left the room.

Taehyun and Chin-Hae were watching a marathon of Gordon Ramsey's "Hotel Hell" series.

Yeonjun and Beomgyu were in their room, with their TV on a loud enough volume to hear them watching kdramas.

Soobin went to the kitchen to make the bottle, loving the peace of the house right now.

As long as they were together, he was happy.

After he was done, he went back to the bedroom.

Kai was cuddling up under the blankets.

Soobin laid next to him, having the little lean on his chest.

"Here you are. Is it too dark in here?", Soobin asked.

Kai shook his head no.

Soobin smiled, watching the baby accept his bottle, comfortably relaxing.

The caregiver decided to hum a song to his little.

As he sang, Kai closed his eyes, feeling as happy as he possibly could in Soobin's arms.

"Would you mind if I fell asleep too?", Soobin stopped humming to ask.

Kai cuddled closer to him.

"I'll take that as you saying you wouldn't mind."

Together, the two laid there, enjoying each other's embrace. Within minutes, they were asleep.

Kai's bottle just casually fell to the side when he was done.

Their bedroom door opened, and Yeonjun peeked in.

"Oh...you guys are sleeping."

"Are they awake in there?", Beomgyu asked, peeking in from under Yeonjun.

"Nope. Quickly, snap a photo."

"Why?"

"I'm sharing it on the secret group chat I have with Hybe eldest members."

"I want to be in that group chat."

"Beomgyu, you're the middle child. You can't be in the chat."

"Can you two shut up?", Soobin asked, opening his eyes.

Yeonjun and Beomgyu sprinted from the room, closing the door.

Soobin closed his eyes again.

"I have some odd friends."
