It was the next day, and finally time for Beomgyu to leave the hospital.

Soobin was watching Baby Kai, entertaining him with the many toys Taehyun and Chin-Hae bought the previous day.

The TaeHae couple themselves were running around the beach house, making sure it was comfortable and clean.

"Question, where does this candle go?", Chin-Hae asked.

"Coffee table I think. Or...side table?"

The two stared at each other for a second.

"Coffee table.", they said in unison.

Chin-Hae put the candle down on the coffee table, lighting it so the smell could spread across the house.

That morning, Yeonjun had called to inform them that they would be leaving soon, going to pack some things and then headed to the beach house.

So they could literally be here any minute now.

"Should we make cookies?", Taehyun asked.

"I don't know. Do you know how to make cookies?"

"I can figure it out. Maybe."

"We should ask Soobin."

"Soobin hyung!", Taehyun yelled.

Soobin came out of his room.

"Yes?"

"Can we make cookies?"

"Sure. Just don't burn down my house. And please follow a recipe. I have a lot of groceries here so we should have everything for cookies."

"Nice. I'm going to be the best baker.", Chin-Hae said.

"Not better than me.", Taehyun replied.

"Bake-off?"

"Bake-off."

Soobin went back into his room.

Baby Kai was swinging around a toy monkey, laughing at its long arms.

"Hehe, you like that one huh sweetie?"

Kai smiled.

"Oh you know what baby? We should put you in that cute onesie! Gyu will love it!"

Kai reached his hands up towards Soobin, who picked him up and sat him on his lap.

"I'm guessing that's a yes. You know, you're so precious."

Kai placed the toy monkey on Soobin's head.

"Hehe, cute. Come on, let's get you changed."

Soobin sat Kai back on the bed, going to an unpacked suitcase in the room.

Kai just watched him with a smile.

Soobin opened the suitcase to reveal a onesie printed with little dancing bears all over it. The hood of the onesie had tiny round ears attached to it as well.

"Perfect."

Soobin went back to Kai to help him change clothes.

As he was doing so, Taehyun peeked into the room.

"Hyung. How many chocolate chips is too many?"

"How many did you put?"

"All of them."

"...I had a whole bag-"

"Okay thanksss!"

Taehyun closed the door and went back to the kitchen.

Kai laughed at Soobin's confused face.

"That's your hyung you know? I hope he doesn't spread his crazy to you."

Soobin ruffled the littles hair.

He stared at him for a minute, taking in all the beautiful features he's come to love.

"I'm happy you made a good decision Kai. I couldn't imagine a world where I didn't get to do things like this anymore."

Soobin finished helping the baby change.

"Let's go to the living room. They'll be here any minute."

The little decided to get on Soobin's back in order to be carried to the living room.

The two exited the bedroom, going over to the couch.

In the kitchen, Taehyun and Chin-Hae were trying to make perfect dough circles for perfect cookies.

"That's way too big.", Chin-Hae said.

"I want to make at least one cookies with a dough ball the size of a tennis ball. Is that too much to ask?"

"Yes. Yes it is."

"You're so mean..."

Taehyun fake pouted, turning away.

"Aww, I'm sorry baby. Make your tennis cookie."

"Yessss!"

Soobin was very much ignoring them, turning the TV to something Kai would like.

A little bit of time went by before the door bell rang, gaining everyone's attention.

"Okay! They're here! Everyone be calm!", Taehyun said.

"You act like the CEO is coming over.", Chin-Hae said.

"Shhhh."

"Don't you shush me-"

Soobin got up, going to the door.

When he opened it, he saw the smiling faces of Yeonjun and Beomgyu.

"Hi guys!", Soobin said, hugging both of them.

Taehyun and Chin-Hae came up, doing the same.

Then, Yeonjun and Beomgyu noticed Baby Kai.

"Aiiiii! Look at him! Look at his little onesie!", Beomgyu yelled.

They went over to the baby, hugging him as well. Kai hugged them back, handing his monkey plushie to Beomgyu.

"For me baby?"

The little nodded.

"Why thank you. I'm honored to be receiving such a cute plushie."

"It's not an award ceremony Gyu...", Yeonjun told him.

"Let me do my thing please. Thank you."

"Whoa, attitude. I like it."

"No flirting in Soobin's beach house.", Chin-Hae told them.

"No promises. Also, why is Taehyun holding a wad of cookie dough?", Beomgyu asked.

Taehyun looked at the dough ball in his hands.

"I'm making cookies. Well, we are, I'm making this one. My tennis cookie."

"What did we walk into?", Yeonjun asked Soobin.

"No idea. But anyways, let's get you two settled into a room shall we?"

Soobin decided to show Yeonjun and Beomgyu where they would be sleeping.

This left Taehyun and Chin-Hae with Kai.

The little watched the two going back to the kitchen.

He reached his arms out to them, making tiny noises to get their attention.

Chin-Hae noticed him first.

"Aww, we left you in here all by yourself? I'm sorry cutie!"

He walked over to Kai, picking him up.

Chin-Hae was quite strong, so he's able to lift the TXT members up like he isn't just a small bit bigger than them.

He brought Kai to the kitchen, and put him on the counter.

"Want to be our taste tester?", Chin-Hae asked.

"Babe don't give the baby raw cookie dough. It's not good to eat."

"I eat it all the time."

"You what?"

"At home. In my fridge I have a long tube of cookie dough that I scoop off of and eat."

"How come I didn't see that cookie dough when I was over there?"

"I hide it behind the fruit so people don't see."

Taehyun stared at his boyfriend.

"Remind me why we started dating again?"

"Because..."

Chin-Hae swiped his hair to the side, looking up at the sky.

"I'm cute."

"Eww."
