Character Bio/Beginnings: Benjamin McFarland began his career at the young age of 10. Having grown up in a family of wrestling fans, Ben had is heart set since experiencing his first live WWE event. His father had connections to the owners of a wrestling school that also had its own training league for kids. He had to keep doing good in school of course, but he was always a smart kid. Combining his wrestling training with gymnastics and martial arts training, the little newb progressed in his ability amazingly quick. Not only that, but he impressed many of his peers with how professional he was at such a young age. He began competing at live gym shows with all the big kids, wrestling under the name Big Bad Ben. Not the best of names, but he was still a kid then. Being a preteen kid doing the crazy, high-risk stunts he was, he quickly earned the nickname The Psycho Kid that made him an internet sensation, assisted by the fact he is also borderline-autistic and very proud and open about it. He even had his head shaved into a mohawk and would have the word "PSYCHO" painted on one side and "KID" on the other. At age 12, he started competing at local weekend shows. He could only do weekend ones given his schooling. As his career rose to new heights and his in-ring personality only became crazier, his fame only continued to spread. So much in fact, it even drew the attention of some big names in World Wrestling Entertainment. Some of these names included, John Cena, Triple H, Rey Mysterio, The Hardy Boyz, and even The Undertaker; and this would end up being the starting point in what would be one of the craziest and most interesting superstar careers in the history of the business.

WWE Career: Although 18 is the minimum age for a youngster to be accepted into WWE, everyone there, superstars and fans and executives alike, wanted this kid in their beloved industry. Therefore, just like Dana White did for Kimbo Slice in the UFC, Vince McMahon went deep DEEP into his pocket to rightfully get this crazed kid in his business. Thus, after so much campaigning and fan-requests, 14 year old Benjamin McFarland became WWE's youngest addition in history. Well, at that time of course. However, in order to begin this new chapter, he would have to come up with a new in-ring identity.

Thus, Daniel Dalton was born; and thankfully, he still got to keep the nickname. To say the least, his career was certainly different, and quite the crowd drawer. Although the competition was much bigger, the kid had no quarrels with jumping in there with the best of them. Living up to his nickname, he would often target the most annoying and obnoxious of superstars, or ones he simply just didn't like. He became incredibly well-known, not just for his age and unique presence, but for his fearless moveset and salty mic skills that could even bring Attitude-Era stars to tears. Receiving mentorship from the best of them, Dan's success and popularity in WWE only continued to grow. Unsurprisingly, he also became a profound tag team wrestler, forming the most lovable of duos and even winning the tag titles with some of his idols. Which included, Cena, Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, and many others. Backstage, he was looked at as the prince of the locker room, either like a kid brother or awesome nephew to everyone in the back, and the kid relished in the family he had and living the best life he could.

Oh, and yes, he was still going to school. Nothing would change that, nor would ANYONE backstage allow it to.

As time went on and the young athlete grew, there eventually came a time when the Psycho Kid persona had to evolve and mature. Even though he let his hair stay normal and changed his attire from time to time, the character itself still needed something much bigger. Therefore, Daniel turned heel and became the Mad Child; a moody yet dangerously chaotic teen that grew disgusted and fed up with the toxic, fickle universe. As well as, the way things were being run at the current time and era in WWE. He did a fine job at drawing heat, but was also somewhat relatable in a way. He would often insult the crowd, steal titles before smashing them up, attack foes in some of the most brutal of ways, especially for this being during the PG Era, and it did wonders for him and WWE. Then, a rivalry and five-star-rated match with former partner/idol/big brotherly figure John Cena reshaped him into someone even greater. In a way, much similar to how he is in the present. You could say this was even the starting point for it.

Now in his late teens, Benjamin/Daniel became the only superstar to have held both midcard championships, the United States and Intercontinental Titles, at the same time. As well as, the youngest to hold either. He held both for a couple of months before losing the I.C. title to Dolph Ziggler. Then, another month later, he was forced to vacate the U.S. title after suffering a knee injury in the Money in the Bank latter match. It was caused when he nearly had the briefcase in hand and then the latter got tipped over. He meant to land on the ropes, but overshot himself and landed outside the ring instead, popping the knee and tearing his leg. That's been the scariest moment in his career and the worst injury in his life ever since. Seven months later and he was back in the saddle, conquering his fears and regaining the gold.

Age 17 became a major time for him as he was proving to be a future main event guy, maturing in many impressive ways, adding to his wrestling ability, stealing the show wherever he went, and even became the sole survivor in Team Cena vs The Authority. It was also the year when he managed to start dating. He had struggled with relationships since he came of age for searching for such, but circumstances and his social awkwardness, things that come with being a young wrestler and borderline-autistic, made it severly difficult. However, things finally turned around for him with the help of some people backstage, and some talent closer to his age being signed on. Each relationship he had was special, but never lasted sadly, for one reason or the next; but each came with many great memories, personal growth, and helped him a lot as far as dating wise.

Not to mention, he finally graduated high school at 18.

However, it was later that same year when things started to go south. An adult now, he began to face new challenges and endure greater pressure. He started struggling with his mental health and the way he was being booked wasn't helping. It was like he was stuck in a place he couldn't get out of and he was unable to keep growing now. He was starting to become bitter and angry and turning into someone neither he nor anyone else backstage enjoyed having. The whole ordeal resulted in him having a bad breakdown backstage after a show one night. It was also the point when he realized he wasn't ok and needed to step down from wrestling and work on himself. Thankfully, he still had the unconditional support of everyone backstage who still loved their boy. That would never change no matter what. He was granted his release from WWE and advised by C.O.O. Triple H, when he was ready to return, to widen his experience a little more before returning to WWE. Dan knew he would be back and would do everything in his power to revamp, recreate and return. He would be the best version of himself that he could possibly be.

Indie Career: After taking a much-needed year off to improve himself, Daniel Dalton returned to the Indie Circuit in order to follow Triple H's advice and better himself. He began to take this as a blessing in disguise as he was now able to wrestle in areas he never could before; Japan, Europe, Mexico, even Canada. His best run with the Indies was for NJPW, where he became the youngest American star to win the IWGP Juniorweight and United States Championships. He also had a brief stint with Impact Wrestling, just so he could finally get a feel for their six-sided ring he always loved. None of those runs lasted long though, just as long as he needed them too.

Return to WWE/NXT Career: It was at age 21 when Triple H saw him fit for a return to the big leagues; and what better way to do so than through arguably WWE's top brand, NXT?

It was through here that Daniel became his true self, the version he had spent his life working up to perfect and bring to life. He entered NXT with dark purple hair and a whole new set of skills, tattoos, and a brand new aura. He made his debut fighting off Undisputed Era before grabbing a mic and proclaiming to the world, "The Archangel has risen in N.X.T!" Since then, Dalton has been a raging firestorm in the black and gold promotion; rolling with an epic series of fueds and matches with Undisputed Era, Pete Dunne, Johnny Gargano, and especially Finn Balor; a dream match come to life that resulted in a close friendship. Eventually, he would even go on to become the youngest NXT Champion in history. His reign with the title only lasted a couple of months, but he made every second of it memorable. After losing the title, he would stick around in NXT for another year, continuing to thrive and never letting the loss slow his momentum down.

Then afterwards, it became time to return home.

Return to Main Roster: Dan got the call from Triple H that he would be returning to the main roster on the Monday Night Raw after Wrestlemania. With that, the Archangel grew eager and nervous all at once. After all this time, he was going to be back where he belongs. He knew this had to be it, that this would be his year, his journey. He just hoped things wouldn't turn out like they did last time. He hoped to make it this time and pull through in order to capture his moment. Most of all, there was a part of him that wished for a special someone to help him fight through this ordeal.

Little did he know that such a heavenly figure would arrive to answer that prayer, in more ways than ever imagined.
