Chapter 24

The dimly lit room was shrouded in an aura of despair. Taehyung and Jungkook sat amidst the shadows, their bodies slumped in defeat. The weight of Rizin and Saga's departure had crushed them, leaving behind a trail of devastation.

Taehyung's eyes had lost their luster, his gaze now feral and untamed. His hair was disheveled, his clothes torn, and his skin smeared with dirt. He looked like a wild animal, cornered and wounded. His fingers curled into claws, as if ready to lash out at the world. A low, menacing growl rumbled in his throat, a sound that sent shivers down Jungkook's spine.

Jungkook, on the other hand, was a picture of hopelessness. His eyes were sunken, his skin pale, and his lips cracked. He stared blankly into space, his mind numb and empty. His body seemed to have given up, his limbs limp and lifeless. He looked like a puppet with its strings cut, a mere shell of his former self.

The hyungs, Hobi, Jin, Suga, and RM, gathered around them, their faces etched with concern and empathy.

Suga, with his gentle touch, tried to coax Taehyung out of his feral state, speaking softly and reassuringly. "Taehyung, hey, it's okay. We're here for you. You're not alone." But Taehyung's response was muted, his eyes flashing with a mixture of anger and hurt.

RM, with his calm demeanor, attempted to reason with Jungkook, "Jungkook, we know it's tough, but we're here to support you. We'll get through this together." However, Jungkook's gaze remained vacant, his voice barely above a whisper, "I'm fine, hyung. Don't worry about me."

Jimin's world crumbled around him as he realized the extent of his mistakes. He had let his fear and insecurity consume him, and now he had lost the one person he loved more than anything - Helina. Taehyung and Jungkook, his  friends and more say brothers now became lifeless persons faking themselves, dying everyday in grief of separation of their love. Just because some pitty  revenge of him.

"How could you, Jimin? For you only for you lost my love" Taehyung spat, his voice venomous. "We trusted you, and you betrayed that trust. You've ruined everything!" Jungkook's eyes blazed with fury. "You're the reason Helina's gone.... Rizin and Saga... My saga ... If only you had been not so furious about your bullshit ego,  none of this would have happened!" Jimin collapsed to the ground, overwhelmed by the weight of their words ringing in his mind which they never spoke but he guilted himself for all which he certainly was. He knew they were right. He had let his own ego and disrespect destroy the one thing that truly mattered. He wept uncontrollably, his heart and mind both shattered into a million pieces.

As the reality of his actions set in, Jimin realized that he had hit rock bottom. He had lost the love of his life, and the respect of his friends. The road to redemption would be long and arduous, but he knew he had to try but still full with his new fears of destroying things.

Jimin was unable to even put eyes on eyes with Taehyung and Jungkook. Their condition and facade self for hyungs was eating him from deep core. Jimin's mind was a mess. He couldn't eat, couldn't sleep. He was consumed by thoughts of Helina. He would see her everywhere, hear her voice in the wind. He started to question his own sanity.

One day, while wandering the empty streets, Jimin saw her. Helina. She was standing right in front of him, her eyes sparkling with tears. "Helina?" Jimin whispered, his voice trembling. She didn't respond. She just kept staring at him, her eyes filled with a deep sadness. Jimin reached out a hand, hoping to touch her, but she vanished into thin air. He was left standing alone, his heart racing. Had he really seen her? Or was it just his mind playing tricks on him?

As the days went by, Jimin started to hallucinate more frequently. He would see Helina in his dreams, in the mirror, even in the clouds. He knew it wasn't real, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that she was trying to communicate with him.

As Jimin sat alone at the coffee shop. His eyes, once bright and full of life, now seemed dull and lifeless, like two empty wells that had been drained of all hope. He stared blankly into his cup, the coffee inside having long since gone cold, just like his heart. The pain of losing Helina still lingered, a constant ache that refused to subside. He felt like a part of him had been ripped away, leaving a gaping hole that could never be filled.

And then, he saw her. Or at least, he thought he did. A girl with long, curly hair and bright blue eyes, just like Helina's. His heart skipped a beat as he gazed at her, his mind reeling with the possibility that it could really be her. "Helina?" he whispered, his voice barely audible over the sound of his own heartbeat. The girl looked up, a faint smile on her face, and Jimin's heart soared. But as he gazed deeper into her eyes, he realized that it wasn't her. It was just a cruel trick of his mind, a hallucination born of his own desperation and longing.

The girl's smile faltered, and she looked at him with a mixture of concern and confusion. "I'm not Helina," she said, her voice firm. "I don't know what you're talking about." Jimin's eyes filled with tears as he realized that he was truly alone. "Why can't you be her?" he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. "Why can't you be the one I love?" The girl's face began to distort, like a reflection in rippling water, and Jimin's grip on reality began to slip. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of despair, with no lifeline to cling to.

Suddenly, the girl's expression changed from concern to annoyance. "Look, I don't know what's wrong with you, but I'm not who you think I am," she said, her voice rising. "Stop staring at me like that, it's creepy." Jimin's face contorted in anguish, and he reached out a trembling hand towards the girl. "Please," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "Just tell me it's really you."

The girl's eyes flashed with anger, and she stood up, her chair scraping against the floor. "I'm not Helina, okay?" she shouted, her voice echoing through the coffee shop. "I don't know what kind of sick game you're playing, but I'm not the person whom you are thinking."

The coffee shop patrons began to stare, drawn in by the commotion. Jimin's face was a picture of despair, his eyes wild and uncontrolled. He looked like a man on the brink of collapse, and the girl's words were the final push that sent him over the edge. Just as it seemed like the situation was going to escalate further, Taehyung and Jungkook appeared out of nowhere, their faces set in determined lines. They had been searching for Jimin everywhere, and they had finally found him.

"Hey, hey, it's okay," Taehyung said, his voice calm and soothing. He stepped forward, his eyes locked on Jimin's, and gently took his arm. "Let's get out of here, Jimin. You don't need to be here right now."Jungkook, meanwhile, turned to the girl, his eyes apologetic. "I'm sorry about this," he said, his voice low and respectful. "My friend is going through a tough time. Please, just ignore him and let us take care of him."

The girl's expression softened, and she nodded, looking relieved. "Okay,no issues," she said, before quickly gathering her things and leaving the coffee shop. As the girl walked away, Taehyung and Jungkook turned their attention to Jimin, who was still staring after her, his eyes filled with tears.

"Jimin, come on," Taehyung said, his voice gentle. "Let's get out of here. We'll take care of you, okay?"Jimin's gaze slowly focused on Taehyung, and he nodded, his face contorting in a sob. Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged a concerned glance, before wrapping their arms around Jimin and leading him out of the coffee shop, away from the painful memories and the girl who wasn't Helina. They both were able to understand the storm running inside him because they were also in that storm trying to survive which was most difficult thing to do. They took Jimin carefully along with them to the dorms, and made him sleep. They themselves also slept beside him wetting the pillow covers.
