Orchid's POV
I was awoken by the rainfall again which is upsetting because the rain is freezing cold but there's more mud now which is a blessing so I quickly get up to play in the mud and Shelly does too and we are so happy and we're having a blast while everybody else is either crying or shaking the cage bars in either despair or rage but the mud is so fun to play in but the major downside is the cold so eventually the rain stops and it's just a bunch of mud so all the adults calm down drastically but suddenly someone comes by with a staff member and I bury myself in the mud while Shelly hides in the mud with me and the adults pile up in a corner of the cage when suddenly the staff member's hand quickly grabs Shelly! And all I can do is watch as Shelly is grabbed firmly and put in a cage and they close the gate to our cage! And Shelly waved a frantic "goodbye" to me while I realized that being in the corner is probably better as you can see the threat coming and react to it but now all I'm gonna do is lay here and cry because she was my only friend!
