Guddan entered the house only to find her Uncle and Aunt, her father's brother and sister-in-law sitting in the living room along with Akshat's parents. Just then she sees Akshat descending the stairs as he has just freshen up after returning back from his office.

Mahesh: Guddan, tum inhe jaanti ho? Ye log keh rahe hai ki ye tumhare rishtedaar hai. Tumne hame pehle kabhi nahi bataya.

Guddan: Mai inhe nahi jaanti, bas inke chehre thode jaane pehchane se hai.

She said looking away from them as her eyes met with those of Akshat's in which he could clearly see the pain she was holding.

Aarti: Aisa bhi kya sadma lag gaya hai tujhe ki teri yaaddaasht hi chali gayi.

Her Badi Maa came forward yelling at her with loud voice.

Ajay: Aarti, ye koi tareeqa nahi hai usse baat karne ka. Ek behen hi to thi uski, usne use bhi kho diya hai. Use sambhalne ke liye thoda waqt lagega. Guddan beta.....

He came forward and lifted his hand to caress her head but she immediately stepped back feeling disgusted to be even touched by them.

Guddan: Kyun aaye hai aap log yahaan?

Aarti: Teri puja karne aaye hai. Dekho to kaise baat kar rahi hai jaise hame jaanti hi nahi. Sach me yaaddaasht chali gayi hai kya?

Guddan: Yaaddaasht to shayad aapki chali gayi thi jo aaj 10 saalon baad waapas aayi hai.

Ajay: Bet....

Guddan: Please, us shabd ko mere liye use karne ke baare me sochiye bhi mat. Ghin aati hai mujhe.

Aarti: Akad to dekho iski 10 saal pehle jahaan thi aaj bhi wahin hai. Arey ab kis baat ka itni akad dikha rahi hai. Sab to khatam ho gaye hai ab tu kis khushi me jee rahi hai.

Guddan: Agar aap log ye behes karne ke liye yahaan aaye hai to please chale jaaiye. Mujhe kisi se koi baat nahi karni, aap logon se to bilkul bhi nahi.

She turned around to leave but Aarti held her hand in a tight grip stopping her. Akshat fisted his hands in rage witnessing it.

Aarti: Tujh jaisi ladki se to behes bhi nahi kar sakte. Tujhe kya laga tu aur teri behen saari property le kar wahaan se bhaag jaayenge aur ham tujhe khushi khushi jaane denge. Hamara hissa hame de de warna tere saath bilkul bhi achha nahi hoga.

Guddan: Oh, to ye baat hai. Mujhe pehle hi samajh jaana chahiye tha ki aap log yahaan kis liye aaye hai. Aur kya kaha aapne? Meri akad pichle 10 saalon se wahin ki wahin hai? Aapki laalach bhi to pichle 30 saalon se wahi hai. To aap apne liye kya kehna chahenge?

Aarti: Teri itni himmat ki tu mujhse is tarah baat kare!!!

She lifted her hand to slap Guddan and Akshat immediately stepped forward to stop her from even touching Guddan but Guddan herself held her hand and jerked it away giving her pain.

Guddan: 10 saal pehle mai majboor thi, kamzor nahi isiliye aap logon ke against koi action nahi le saki lekin aaj na hi mai majboor hun aur na hi kamzor. Agar aap donon ko apna bacha kucha budhapa jail ke andar nahi guzarna hai to chup chap yahaan se nikal jaaiye.

Ajay: Hamari baat to suno......

Guddan: Kya sunna bacha hai? Yehi ki aapke bete ne aap donon ko ghar se nikal diya hai aur aap yahaan mujhse madad lene ke liye aaye hai?

Aarti: Tujhe kaise pata?....

Her face fell down after knowing that Guddan know about the true intentions behind their arrival.

Guddan: Oh, matlab mai sahi thi. Maine to bas aise hi andhere me teer chhod diya lekin ye baat to sach nikli. Waise aap logon ko zara si bhi sharm mehsoos nahi huyi jo mujhse madad lene aa gaye? Usi ladki se jiske maa baap ko aapne ghar se nikala tha? Waise jo hua bilkul sahi hua aap logon ke saath. Jaisi karni waisi bharni.

Ajay: Dekho Guddan, ham jaante hai hamne tumhare aur tumhare parivaar ke saath bohot bura kiya lekin ab is budhaape me tumhare siwa hamara koi sahara nahi hai. Please hamari madad kar do. Bas rehne ke liye chhat aur do waqt ka khana chahiye hame aur kuchh nahi.

Guddan: Yehi shabd shaayad Mummy Papa ne bhi kabhi aap logon se kaha tha lekin aap logon ne kya kiya tha wo yaad hi hoga.

Ajay: Hamara koi nahi hai, sab mar chuke hai aur tumhare liye bhi to koi nahi hai na....

Guddan: Jis tarah baaki sab mar chuke hai usi tarah mujhe bhi mara hua samajh lijiye kyunki maine kabhi aap logon ko kuchh samjha hi nahi.

Ajay: Guddan......

Guddan: Bas!!!

She roared at them showing her hand as she looked away hiding her tears.

Guddan: Nikal jaaiye yahaan se.

Aarti: Aise kaise chale jaaye? Tujhe kya lagta hai hame nahi pata ki teri asliyat kya hai. Arey hamne jo kiya so kiya, tu bata tu kya kar rahi hai. Saari property apne naam karwaane ke liye apni hi behen ko maar diya na tu ne.

Her words were enough to stab her to death with the guilt she was feeling for not being able to save her sister. Every time Akshat blamed her for it, she knew that she had to endure the pain for her love but receiving it from someone else was more painful than death to her.

Aarti: Arey manhoos tha wo din jab tu is duniya me aayi. Tujhse bada manhoos to maine aaj tak dekha hi nahi jisne apne hi poore parivaar ko khatam kar diya. Pehle apne Maa baap ko aur phir apni behen ko.

Tears uncontrollably streamed down her face as she bit her lips and curled her hands into fists controlling herself from breaking down infront of everyone.

Aarti: Yaad rakhiyega meri baaton ko, ki ye ladki aapke ghar ko bhi barbaad kar degi. Door nahi hai wo din jab iski manhoosiyat ka kala saya is ghar ko barbaad kar dega.

She said to Akshat's parents who were giving her a disgusted look for using such words for Guddan.

Mahesh: Dekhiye hame nahi pata ki aap log koun hai lekin ham hamari beti ke khilaaf ek shabd nahi sunne wale. Agar aap log apni salamati chahte hai to isi waqt yahaan se chale jaaiye warna aap logon ke saath jo bhi hura hoga uske zimmedar ham nahi honge.

Ajay: Guddan beta.....

Guddan: Leave!

She said in a slow voice because she knew if she would raise her voice she would end up breaking down.

Ajay: Lek.....

Guddan: I said Leave!!!

She yelled making then flinch as they turned to leave.

Guddan: Aur doobara apni shakal dikhane ki galti bhi mat kariyega.

Saying that she ran from there unable to control herself and locked herself in the washroom crying her heart out remembering the venomous words spoken about her.

When she was tired of crying and her tears has dried up, she came out of the washroom and was moving towards the garden, her one of the most favorite place in the house speaking to someone on the phone. Akshat who wanted to speak to Guddan about what Aniket has said followed her but was stunned to hear the words spoken by her.

Guddan: Yeah, mai jo house rent ke liye lena chahti thi kya wo ab bhi hai?

Akshat (thinking): Is she planning to leave the house? Because of me?

Guddan: Yeah, I know ki maine kuchh din pehle mana kar diya hai but I need it now. So tell me clearly if it's still vacant or not.

She walked all the way and sat on the swing which was her favorite place since the time she came into the house.

Guddan: Actually it's for a elderly couple. I will pay the advance and the remaining they will be paying it. Ok, I will send them.

Akshat sighed in relief knowing that it wasn't for her. She ended the call and then called someone else asking to locate them and lead them towards the address given by her and provide with all the necessities they would need for a month.

Guddan: Haa aur kuchh kaam bhi de dena so that they can help themselves with the expenses. Aur baaki shaytani kaamon me unka dhyaan na jaaye.

Akshat (thinking): Ye ladki mere samajh se baahar hai. Abhi kuchh der pehle unhe ghar se jaane ke liye keh diya aur wo iske baare me itna bura keh rahe the aur ye unki madad kar rahi hai.

Akshat who heard her speaking on the phone thought about her in disbelief.

She was about to turn but he hid himself before she could see him trying to know what she actually does.

Guddan: Aap log aise kyun dekh rahe hai mujhe?

She spoke looking at her phone. He guessed that she was speaking to her parents picture like she always did.

Guddan: Haa jaanti hun ki maine unse bohot badtameezi se baat ki, un par chillaya bhi lekin mujhse bardaasht nahi hota hai jab wo mere saamne aate hai. Out of control ho jaati hun mai..... Di, I know ki ab aap kya soch rahi hai.

Akshat who was listening to her looking at somewhere else now snapped his head towards her as she mentioned her.

Guddan: Yehi na ki jab mujhe unse itni problem hai to maine unki help kyun ki. To aur kya karti mai? Mujhe pata hai agar aap logon me se koi hota na to aap bhi yehi karte. Yehi keh kar ki jaisa un logon ne hamare saath kiya ham bhi to wahi unke saath nahi kar sakte na. Isiliye maine wo kiya....... To tu unhe bata kar bhi to kar sakti thi na? Wo tere baare me kitna bura soch rahe honge.

She spoke trying to mimick Antara's voice.

Guddan: Mai kisi ko dikhane ke liye help nahi karti. Agar maine pyaar se unki madad ki hoti na tab to wo mere sar par hi chadh jaate. Aisa kiya na to wo doobara meri shakal bhi dekhne nahi aayenge, jo mai chahti hun...... Papa, don't give me that proud look of yours. Di aapke paas hi hai jealous feel kar rahi hongi. And Mumma, now don't glare at me kyunki maine Di ke baare me aisa kaha.

She tried to chuckle but failed as she ended up crying bringing tears in Akshat's eyes.

Guddan: I miss you all so much. Kyun aap sab mujhe akele chhod kar chale gaye? Yahaan koi nahi hai mere liye, koi bhi nahi. Mai nahi rehna chahti hun aap logon ke bina. I know aap log bohot enjoy kar rahe honge mere bina na but I promise mai bhi jald hi aap logon ko join karne wali hun. Aap logon ko aise akele enjoy nahi kar dungi.

She locked her phone and closed her eyes crying in the remembrance of her family. Just then she felt a hand on her shoulder making her startle. She turned around to see Mahesh standing with a sad smile on his face. Akshat immediately left the place as he witnessed his father and doubted if he would be caught.

She stood up from the swing and made him sit on it and sat down on the grass resting her head against his leg as he caressed her head calming her.

Mahesh: Tumhe pata hai, pehle mai kya sochta tha? Yehi ki tumhare parents sab se zyaada lucky hai ki unhe tum donon jaisi betiyan mili.

She smiled even though her tears didn't stop.

Mahesh: Lekin mujhe baad me ye realise hua ki unse bhi zyaada lucky koi aur hai. Do you know who?

She shook her head looking at him confused.

Mahesh: It's me. Mai unse zyaada lucky hun. You know I always wanted to have daughters but I was only blessed with sons. Lekin phir mujhe tum donon mili, my daughters. You know they were lucky enough to have you both as their own daughters but despite that I had you both even though you aren't related to me by blood. What does that mean? That I was luckier than them, right? They were destined to have you as daughters but I met you by destiny which was in my luck.

He wiped her tears which weren't ready to cease and increased with the effect of his words. She indeed had someone in her life who made her feel special every moment even when she despised herself.

Guddan: You know what? You are the best!

She said holding his hands as her eyes reflected her true emotions.

Mahesh: Not more than you.

He said as he stood up followed by her. Losing herself infront of him, she hugged crying her heart out.

Guddan: I love you!

She said still in the hug as a smile played on his lips.

Mahesh: Not more than you love Akshat!!!

He said pulling away from the hug looking into her eyes.

As I already said that I am busy with my assignments and online exams so the updates will be delayed and I am informing it here again.

Actually, I wasn't going to update but this chapter was already half written and when I got to know that today is Father's day so I thought about completing the chapter and updating it. Which coincidentally has some father-daughter scene with one of the best Fathers, Mahesh Jindal.
