"Are you okay?" Tenten cornered Haruka in bathroom who was washing her face. "You've been tense since this morning and now you're rushing away from the dinner table." 

Haruka gritted her teeth. "I'm fine." 

TenTen rolled her eyes. "It's Naruto isn't it?" 

"Shut up!" Haruka spun to her with a glare in her eyes. Her eyes widened as she realized that her best friend had hit the nail. She turned back to the mirror frustrated and started crying. TenTen frowned and tried to come over to comfort her but she pushed her away. "It's wrong! She isn't for him." 

"How could you know that?" TenTen defended. "She's Shino's fiance obviously Shino knows what's good for him." 

"But they don't even share hobbies, she just does whatever he wants to do," She spat bitterly.

"That's how they bond, you know Shino described her as adaptable. That she was accommodating to his hobbies since he never got the chance to indulge them. Stop twisting their words to paint Naruto in a bad light. You're being toxic," TenTen became serious. 

"I understand that you like Shino but let's be honest, throughout this entire day you've been nothing but snappy and bitter towards Naruto since the moment you laid eyes on her. She's conventionally attractive, we all know that but she is a good person and you're judging her since she's with someone like Shino who is seen as a nerd." 

"I'm being toxic?" She laughed coldly. 

"Yes, you claim to like Shino but you don't even know the little details about him from all your observations. Talking over Naruto who lives with him and knows him better than you about her being wrong about how he likes things are ridiculous. You're being a fool and we all know it. At this point, Shino and Naruto are just sparing you the embarrassment but I wouldn't be surprised if Naruto asks for Shino to keep a distance." 

"Oh, she's insecure?" Haruka mocked. 

TenTen narrowed his eyes. "It's not being insecure, it's putting measures to avoid certain situations. Like you coming onto him now that you're exposed." 

"Shino's a big boy, he can handle me." 

"No, I don't think so. You're a different type of crazy. You need to get back on your medicine," TenTen grabbed her and attempted to pull her from the restroom but Haruka hissed and smacked her hand away. On the outside, Sai and Heizo had begun to apologize to Naruto for Haruka and brought them in on the situation. 

"So she's in love with my fiance?" Naruto sighed and then turned to Shino who was uncomfortable, she could tell because his eyebrows were scrunched together. 

"Essentially, when we heard you wanted to join we thought it would be the time to show her that Shino's relationship was strong with you, you guys are engaged but it seemed to have the opposite effect. She's in denial," Sai sighed and got out a cigarette. 

"It's going to be a meltdown when you guys leave," Heizo swiped the cigarette and took a puff as well. 

Naruto leaned on Shino's shoulder and closed her eyes in deep thought. "We can leave if you want," Shino murmured, putting his arm around her shoulders. Naruto's suddenly shot up with an angry expression. 

"No, I want her to look me in the face and say it." 

Just at that moment, TenTen came back out with Haruka whose eyes were puffy from crying but she looked semi-put together. When she sat back down at the table she took a moment before facing Naruto who wore an empty face, it was unnerving how she looked at Haruka like she was dried mud on white sneakers. It was annoyance bordering on rage and Naruto felt herself falling into that same mindset when she attacked Sakura unconsciously her hand reached out across the table to grab the other woman but Shino stopped her. 

"No," He spoke firmly but Naruto didn't even hear him as she tilted her head, her gaze narrowing in on her opponent. Her other hand reached out and it was faster than the one Shino had a grasp on. Haruka pulled away quickly as she looked into Naruto's dark gaze. 

"How dare you," Naruto snarled. "I have been nothing but kind this entire trip and you have the gall to lust after a taken man. And to do it so boldly in my face, like I'm the other woman. You're the other woman!" 

Shino pulled her into his chest to keep her steady as she was trembling with rage. She broke down and clung to Shino crying. He held her tightly and excused himself from his friends as he hurried Naruto into a private area. The blonde looked up at him through blurry eyes. "Why does everyone want to take you away?" 

"I ask myself that every time someone wants to take you too," He answered honestly. "No one will take me away from you. I only leave when you don't want me around anymore." 

"I want you around forever," Naruto sniffed. "Is it wrong that I want boundaries with her, the rest were all fine friends but I don't want her near you?" 

"You don't have to worry about that, I plan to enforce boundaries. It's inappropriate for an engaged man to have such a person around himself." 

Naruto nodded, satisfied with his answer.
