Future? (In between episodes)
A/N Hey guys! Ok that's pretty much it...
"Melanie?" I heard my name as the door made a knocking sound. I opened the door. Zoey stood there, grinning.
"Come on, I want you to help me with Levin." She cheered. That was all it took for me to snap awake, pulling my sword into its place and grabbing my banana for breakfast.
--------------------
"So we can start teaching him to walk?" I asked, playing cars with Levin as Zoey watched us while she experimented with something.
"Soon enough... We want Aphmau's permission first." She explained.
"Mel, Mel!" I turned and saw Levin crawling to his music box, pointing at it.
"Play, play!" He cried. I chuckled and turned it on. Aphmau explained to me already why Levin's mother was imprisoned, and I thought she was doing an amazing thing.
"Of course I will Levin." I said, winding it up. Levin stared at the music box in awe as he clapped along to the tune.
"He seems to be enjoying that." Said Zoey, sitting next to me. I nodded in agreement, when suddenly...
Everything went black.
~-VISION-~
"I can't believe I missed your childhood, Levin." Aphmau was there, and she looked normal, but there was a young man sleeping uneasily. Aphmau winded up a music box next to him, and the boy slept peacefully. Aphmau smiled, swiping hair away from his face.
"I wish I was there for you, Levin. You have no idea how much I love you." She whispered, tears brimming her eyes. Then, she sat on the floor, and soon enough, fell asleep.
I walked towards the boy, and tried to touch him. Nope. I bent down to get a better look at him. The boy kind of looked a bit like Garroth, but he wasn't. Then, it hit me.
This was Levin in the future. But why was Aphmau crying, saying she missed his childhood? And why was she so young if this was the future?
~-VISION OVER-~
I woke up, and stood up. It was becoming normal, and I wasn't getting bad dreams anymore. I was on a bed, and a worried Zeoy looked at me as if I was crazy.
"Melanie, is this normal!?" She asked. I nodded.
"This could mean something else... Hold on, I'll need more studies, but if only I had another magicks user in this village to help me, I might've been able to get answers faster." She sighed, handing me Levin and walking to her desk, tinkering away. I frowned, and stared at Levin who was smiling and reaching for my helm. I didn't take it off, though.
Not yet... I thought.
Soon Levin, but not quite yet.
