A/N I remember waiting for two hours for Episode 100 of MD, only to realize that it would come out the next day. But, I didn't mind!

Melanie's POV

I stood inside the new guard tower, staring out the window. The moon was shining on my face, and I was counting stars when I heard something.

"Sh! Someone might hear us!"

"I'm sowwy, Malachi!"

My head flung around, and my eyes widened when I saw Levin and Malachi trying to sneak up behind me.

"What are you two doing here?" I asked astonished.

"We're sorry, Mel, but... Mom says that she has to send us away. We wanted to come and say goodbye." Explained Malachi, biting his lip.

"Oh you guys... You'll be back soon anyways, right?" I asked. Levin nodded.

"Mama says you will join us soon, right?" Asked Levin. I smiled, my heart breaking.

"Of course Levin. I'll try." I said, tears brimming my face.

The two boys ran up to me, and hugged me tightly. I picked them both up in my arms, cradling them.

"Will you please promise to take care of Mama?" Asked Malachi, his voice cracking.

"Yes Malachi. I promise I will take care of your mother." I said without hesitation. I kissed the tops of their heads and placed them down, sighing."

"Now, does Lady Aphmau know you boys are here?" I asked. They looked down, bowing their heads.

"N-No..." Levin said. I sighed, grabbing their hands in mine.

"Well then, I'll have to take you back." I said, bringing them home.

Aphmau had tears in her eyes as she said goodbye to her boys. I was currently in the middle of saying goodbye to Cadenza.

"Promise you'll be ok?" Asked Cadenza. I nodded, smiling.

"Of course, Cadenza. Why wouldn't I be?" I asked. She smiled.

"Promise you'll take care of Laurence for me?" She asked. My breath hesitated for a moment, and I took in a deep breath.

"Of course I will, Cadenza. You know I would, anyways." I said. Candeza's smile dropped.

"I know, it's just... You two haven't been getting along." Cadenza explained.

"Hey. That does not mean we can't get along." I said.

Dale started yelling that it was time for everyone to leave.

"I'm gonna miss you so much, Melanie!" Cadenza said, hugging me tightly. I hugged her tight.

"I'm going to miss you more." I said. She giggled, sniffing as she left on the boat.

Aphmau was breaking down into sobs. She looked like she needed a shoulder to cry on.

I decided to be that shoulder.

I walked up to her, opening my arms in a welcoming expression. She let out more sobs, crying into my shoulder as she hugged me tightly.

"It'll be ok, Aphmau. You're doing the right thing. Besides, I've been assigned by your children to protect you." I said. She laughed, wiping her nose and eyes as she pulled away.

"Really?" She asked. I nodded.

"As long as I'm here, nothing will ever happen to you.

I didn't know that promise would be short lived.

A/N Ok, I dare you to watch this episode, and listen to Levin asking Aphmau if she'll meet up with them, already knowing what happens.
