A/N So, for this season, I'm going to make Laurence not like Aphmau because of two reasons.

1) This is a fanfiction and I can do whatever I want without people judging me.

2) LAURNIE FOREVER!!

I have Zoey cast now, and she's up there. Annasophia Robb, in case you don't know, was my original choice for Melanie, but then I watched Liv and Maddie and saw Dove Cameron.

Melanie's POV

I paced in front of Aphmau's house nervously.

What if Laurence doesn't remember me? What if he no longer loves me? What if-

The door opened, interrupting my thoughts. My head snapped up, and out came Zoey.

"Melanie. You've been out here for an hour. He's still not conscious. How about you play with Levin in the playground? Teach him how to walk, please?" She asked. Levin was in her arms. I picked him up and took him to the playground.

"Hey Levin!" I said, smiling as I sat him down on the sandbox.

"Hi Mel!" He cried, smiling.

"Wanna learn how to walk?" I asked. Levin smiled, and reached his hands up.

"Wok?" He asked. I giggled.

"Yeah, walk." I said. Levin nodded, and I helped him up to his feet.

"Ok, Levin. Stand up." I said, slowly taking my hands away from him. He stood.

"Good! Good job, Levin! Now, I'm going to come back here, and your going to walk to me, ok?" I asked, backing up about three feet.

Levin put one foot in front of him, and started to become unbalanced. But before I could stand up and help him, he put his other foot in front of him, balancing out. Then, he put his foot in front of him again, but faster.

And the next thing I knew, he had just walked to me.

I grinned and picked him up as he fell into my arms.

"Levin! You did it! I'm so proud of you!" I cried. Levin clapped and shrieked.

"I wok I wok!" He shouted. I put him down and tickled him.

"Yes you did, you little Levin you! You walked!" I said. He laughed and shrieked.

"Melanie! Laurence is awake! He's asking for you!" I looked up. Zoey was there, an astonished expression on her face.

"He's awake?!" I asked, picking up Levin and handing him off to Zoey as I ran inside Aphmau's wooden home and down the stairs.

I saw Aphmau standing in front of Laurence, staring at him as if he was dying. Garroth ran up next to me, and I feared the worst. Garroth sensed my fear.

"Don't worry, he's not dead. He and Aphmau are talking." Said Garroth. I nodded.

"But he's asking for you-" I ran to Laurence. Aphmau walked away, and grabbed Garroth's arm, pulling him out of the basement, leaving me and Laurence alone.

"L-Laurence? A-Are you ok?" I asked, nearing Laurence who was on the bed.

"Melanie?! Where are you?" He asked. I frowned. Couldn't he see me?

"I-I'm right here, Laurence." I said, grabbing his hand. Laurence's face went from worried to relieved when his hand made contact with mine.

"Melanie, I have to tell you something. I'm blind." He said.

My heart collapsed. He was blind!? How?

"I'm blind because when Ungurth rescued me, the realm barrier had its effects." Explained Laurence. I hadn't realized I said that out loud.

"Oh Laurence. I'm sorry." I said, squeezing his hand.

"Listen Melanie. I need to tell you something important. I'm in love with you. That day I met you, I thought you looked beautiful. Those two weeks that you had to escort me around town just made me fall even more. And then, we kissed in the Nether. The day I told you I thought you were beautiful, I meant it. But since you ran away, I thought you didn't love me back." Said Laurence.

"Laurence, now it's my turn to tell you something." I said. I explained my dreams, and how they became real. I also explained that I was trying my hardest not to love him back because going to the Nether had its consequences.

"So, that's why I ran." I concluded. Laurence nodded.

"But the kiss in the Nether still happened, didn't it?" Asked Laurence. I smiled.

"Yeah. That was my first ever kiss, by the way." I said.

"Really? I find that hard to believe." He said. I sighed.

"Yeah, it's true." I said.

"By the way, I'm really sorry I had to hurt you. It was probably the worst thing I've ever done." Said Laurence.

"Laurence, I should be thanking you. You saved me from being a Shadow Knight." I said. Then, I looked up and saw an armor stand. His armor that he was wearing that day at the Nether was there.

"Melanie, do you think I could take you out on a date? But an actual one this time?" He asked. I blushed.

"Yeah. That'd be perfect." I said. I bent down, pecking his lips with mine before I let go of his hand and went outside.
