Episode 49

A/N So, for Cadenza I decided on Karen Gillan. I'm not sure why, but the picture that I tried posting isn't working... Sowwy! If you see it, great! If you don't, go look her up!

Also, GO DOCTOR WHO!

Melanie's POV

"Garroth, I know we have to wear our armor twenty-four seven, but... I need to find something to wear in my house." I complained. Garroth rolled his eyes. I think, he was wearing his helm.

"Listen Melanie... There's a new girl in the village, her name is Cadenza, and she's said to be a seamstress. You can go right now if you want, your post is over anyways." Garroth said. I smiled, hugging him before I left.

I entered the store, looking around.

"Hi! I'm new here, and my name is Cadenza. What's yours?" A girl with bright, orange hair and a white, lacy dress said. I smirked.

"My name is Melanie, I'm a head guard." I explained. She smiled sweetly.

"Uh, I need something to wear aside from my armor. Can you make me something, if it's not a hassle." I said nervously. Cadenza laughed.

"Of course! Now, I'm going to need you to take off your armor, and-"

"Oh, um... I can't." I said. Cadenza furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"And why not?" She asked. I bit my lip.

"It's hard to explain." I said, hoping the subject would drop. It didn't.

"Now Melanie, if you want me to make you something, I need to be able to measure you. And to see your eyes so I know what to make you." Cadenza explained. I sighed.

"All right." I mumbled, taking off the clunky material which revealed my white tank top and blue jeans. She gasped as my blonde sandy hair fell to my shoulders.

"Oh my... YOU HAVE THE MOST GORGEOUS EYES AND HAIR!! I'm so jealous! You look beautiful, Melanie." She said. I blushed.

"No I'm not..." I said, remembering all the gorgeous, green eyed girls back at O'kasis.

"Yes you are! I know EXACTLY what to make you!" She cried, pulling her supplies from her cabinets.

A couple of hours later, I was twirling in a white dress, barefoot.

"It's perfect!" Cried Cadenza, gasping. Then, she tapped her chin, mumbling something under her breath.

"Got it!" She cried, making me jump.

"Got what?" I asked, lifting an eyebrow. She quickly went to a small closet, and pulled out a light blue cloth, along with a pair of black flats.

"Here, try this on." She motioned the shoes towards me. I nodded, slipping my feet in like butter was rubbed in them. They fit perfectly.

"Great! Now this!" She said, handing me the light blue cloth. I took it from her, and as I lifted it, I saw it was a cloak. I pinned it on, the little pin was a white jewel. The hood of the cloak went over my head, and covered my blonde curls.

"Oh wow, it's amazing! I can't believe I haven't made this outfit before, actually. I should try one for me, but instead of blue, maybe orange?" I chuckled.

Then, a noise came from the door. I looked up and noticed a familiar armored man.

"Hey Garroth!" I said, smiling. He cocked his head to the side as he took in my new clothing.

"What do you think?" I asked, twirling around.

"Well, the uniform did get old- wait, you're not wearing your helm! Did you..." He asked. I nodded, feeling guilty.

"Isn't she awesome?" Asked Cadenza. I bit my lip.

"Um, we have to go now... But we can talk some other time, right?" I asked, walking into one of the changing rooms to get my armor back on.

I walked out of the changing room, and Garroth motioned for me to join him, and I quickly made eye contact with Cadenza when suddenly-

Everything went black.

~-VISION-~

"WHY ARE YOU HERE!?" Garroth and I clutched our swords, staring at him. He was smirking, a smug look on his face as he sent his guards to attack us. Garroth and I fought, our swords clashing with theirs when-

"AH!" A huge pain entered my stomach, causing me to let out a loud scream. I was too afraid to look down. But I did.

After stabbing one of his guards, he had sneaked up behind me. I turned, and his sword stabbed through my flesh.

"NO!" I heard Garroth cry. I couldn't speak, or scream anymore. His sword slipped out from my stomach, and I fell on my back, coughing. Garroth ran over to me, him giving us some space. Garroth quickly pulled off his helm, and dos the same to me, wincing when he saw me.

"M-Melanie, stay awake!" He ordered. He chuckled from behind.

"It's too bad. I was just about to tell you both some shocking news I found out from father." He sighed. I could feel the horrible pain in my stomach get worse, when...

"Garroth was born with a twin- Melanie. And an identical one at that." He smirked. Garroth's eyes widened, and I could feel mine do the same thing.

"W-w-what?!" He yelled, standing up and facing him. He narrowed his eyes.

"Such a pity too. This means that Melanie was murdered by her younger brother." He smirked. Garroth looked at him, then at me, then at him again.

"No. She will not die. I will make sure of it. You on the other hand I can't say the same thing about." Garroth glared daggers into him, and ran to him. He pulled out his sword too late, and Garroth had stabbed his gut, leaving him to die alone.

"G-Garroth." I coughed out, feeling myself slipping away. If Garroth was truly my brother, I wanted him to be the last person I saw before...

"Melanie, no! I'll... I'll get help! Hold on, and I'll be back with-"

"Garroth! Don't." I whispered, tears threatening to spill. I could see his glossy blue eyes.

"No Melanie. PROMISE me you won't." Garroth said, taking off both of our gloves and grabbing my hand, squeezing it.

"I-I can't, Garroth. I'm sorry." I whispered. He let the tears spill, letting them fall onto the now wet with blood grass. I leaned up very slowly, and wrapped my arms around him, giving him one last hug.

"I love you Garroth." I whispered before feeling my grip on Garroth's hand loosen, and myself fall backwards into darkness.

The last thing I heard were Garroth's cries for me not to go.

A/N Did I make any of you cry?! Because honestly, I made myself cry. No joke, I'm wiping my tears.

Now, there are two possibilities here.

A) It's a nightmare, and Melanie will have many more that get worse and worse

B) It's a vision, and will eventually happen.

Which is it? WHICH?!

Even I don't know, I'm still deciding.
