Episode 2
A/N now that I'm rewatching all MD videos, I've realized something...
WEVE COME A LOONG WAY FROM JUST NPCS!!!
Above is a picture of the person I cast as Garroth, Ross Lynch! It's so obvious I would cast him as Garroth, because...
Same sandy, moppy blonde hair...
Same mesmerizing eyes..
...WAIT WHAT!?
Melanie's POV
Today, I walked out of Garroth, Zenix and I's house, and noticed something.
The streets were replaced. No longer wood, it was now stone. My mouth hung open.
Did Garroth do this? How much did it cost? My thoughts erupted through me, and I heard Garroth walk out too.
"Woah." He said. I nodded in agreement. Who did this?
"Hey guys! Like the new road? I figured this town could use some fixing up." I looked up and saw Aphmau, standing in front of us with a smile on her face.
"You did this?" I asked. She looked at the floor.
"W-was I not supposed to?" She asked nervously.
"N-no! We're thankful, if anything!" Garroth said. Aphmau grinned.
"Really?! Well, it was my pleasure. But... It seems like you guys are the only people here who think that way... I guess my little 'announcement' at the well yesterday caused people to not give me a chance." Aphmau said, looking down at the ground. I immediately felt bad. She's done so many nice things for us, and all people give her is hate.
"So, I've decided to go on a small trip for the day. I'll be back by sunset." Aphmau promised, making her way out of the village.
"It's too bad people don't like her like you." I said. Even with his helm on, I could tell he was blushing.
"Ok, f-for the l-last time, I-I-I don't like h-her." He stuttered. I laughed.
"Yeah you do." I sighed, walking to Zenix's post.
"You seem cheerful." I said, looking at a grinning Zenix. He shrugged.
"I don't know why. I guess it's the new roads." He concluded. I nodded.
"You know Garroth likes Aphmau right?" I asked. Zenix chuckled.
"Even under that helm of his, I'm pretty sure everyone knows except Aphmau. She's probably really oblivious." Said Zenix. Then, and idea popped into my head.
"What if... I help him confess his feelings for her?" I asked. Zenix eyes brightened.
"That sounds like a good idea." He said. I said bye, and ran to Garroth, making sure villagers weren't being strange at the same time.
"Hey Garroth! I wanna show you something." I said, grabbing his hand and pulling him into the house before he could object.
"Melanie, what is it now?" He asked. I scoffed.
"Admit your feelings for me." I said.
"Oh, Melanie... You're a great friend but-" I started laughing.
"Oh my- I'm sorry Garroth! I forgot to tell you how I was helping you!" I said between breaths.
"Help me what?" He asked.
"Admit your feelings to Aphmau!" I squealed. What? I may be a head guard, but I can still be girly when I feel like it!
"A-again, I don't like Aphmau." Garroth said. I made a tsk sound with my tongue.
"See, that's where you're wrong. One thing about me and you is that when we get nervous, we both tend to stutter." I said.
It's true... I thought.
"I don't need help, seeing as I don't intend to tell Aphmau how I feel anytime soon." Garroth sighed. I pouted.
"I'm not going to be able to change your mind anytime soon, am I?" I asked. He shook his head no.
------------------------------
I was walking back from meeting Donna, the new villager Aphmau brough from the water village, when it happened. I'm not sure where I was, or who was with me, but one minute I'm walking to meet up with Garroth and Zenix at home, and the next, everything went black.
***VISION***
Aphmau was standing in an abandoned house. I realized it wasn't just any house-it was the old Lord's home. She started reading a book that looked like a journal, and two figures started creeping up to her. I tried warning her, but nothing came out of my mouth.
"Hmm... Well, next page." Said Aphmau, starting to turn the page. One of the figures hit her upside the head with a sack of coal, causing her to fall to the floor. I ran towards her, trying to wake her up, but my hands passed through her like I was a ghost.
Then, the scene changed.
It was horrifying.
Zenix and Garroth were being executed, Garroth had his head in a guillotine, and he was there. He was laughing as he ordered one of his men to let go of the rope. As the executor walked up the ramp to Garroth, I started to try and move myself so I could save Garroth.
Nothing.
He grabbed my chin in his hand and cackled.
"Can't move? Good. I want you to be really comfortable." He said, turning my face to see Garroth. I couldn't close my eyes either. I was forced to watch the executioner let go of the rope. The last thing I heard was myself screaming Garroth's name.
***VISION***
"MELANIE!!! Stop screaming!" My eyes burst open, and I took in my surroundings. Garroth and Zenix were holding me down with their arms on a bed.
"G-Gartoth!? Zenix?!" I cried, realizing that my eyes were full of tears that were dangerously close to spilling.
"Melanie, what happened?! You were screaming my name, and kicking, and... Are you ok?!" Asked Garroth. I started crying, letting the tears drip down my cheeks.
"I-It was the s-scariest thing! Aphmau was knocked out, and y-you and Z-Zenix were being executed and... And..."
Then, I just broke down into more sobs and I kept trembling. Garroth and Zenix scooped me up into a hug.
"It was just a dream, Melanie." Assured Zenix. I nodded, calming myself down.
"Ok... Just a dream." I said to myself.
But deep down inside, I knew it wasn't. If it was just a dream, why did I black out in the middle of walking? Why was it so terrifying?
And worst of all, why was he in it?
A/N I'm actually enjoying editing this story! You know, making it better! Isn't Ross Lynch the cutest thing though?
Wait what?
