I walked through the village, doing my daily post, when...

Boom!

Something makes a loud booming noise, and someone screams. Before I know it, Garroth is at my side, giving orders.

"Melanie, evacuate the villagers NOW!" He yelled before leaving to get Dale and Logan. I quickly rounded up all the villagers and hid them in the mines, blocking them up before joining Garroth and the others. To my surprise, the person there was...

"Zenix!?" I cried. He chuckled.

"Ah, if it isn't Melanie and Garroth! Hello!" He said. I glared at him.

"But we took you in!" Yelled Garroth. Zenix ignored him.

"Prepare to fall!" Zenix yelled, ordering his Knights to attack. All four of us started attacking him and his followers.

Not too much later, Logan and Dale were on the floor unconscious, and Garroth and I were left to fight Zenix ourselves. My dream from such a long time ago came to my mind, and I started trembling.

"Looks like we're about to have ourselves a fight of the century." Said Zenix, walking towards me. I whimpered.

"G-G-Garroth... My dream." I whispered. Garroth froze.

"Ah, you're having dreams, are you?" Asked Zenix. I didn't respond.

"Are these dreams becoming... Reality?" He started circling me. I kept quiet.

"So they are. Ever consider that they might be... Visions?" Asked Zenix. My mouth gaped open in realization.

"Wait... They could be-"

I was cutoff by Zenix's sword hilt being swung at my head, and leaving me in the darkness.

I woke up with a start, sweat beads lining around my forehead. Then, I started swinging my head to see where I was. Still in the forest. Then, some thing caught my eye as I examined the area.

Garroth. With an axe in his helm.

I gasped, tripping over myself as I got up quickly and ran to him, hoping I wasn't too late.

"Please oh please oh please oh please oh please don't do this to me Garroth!" I cried, rushing to take his helm off and praying to Lady Irene there would be no blood. First though, I took off my own helm, wanting to keep our oath in honor. I hadn't seen his face in a while, so it took me some time to get used to him.

Sandy blonde hair covered his blue eyes and I quickly swept it out of the way. His breathing started to return to normal, and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh my Lady Irene, GARROTH WHAT HAPPENED?!" I yelled, pulling him up to his feet. Garroth shook his head.

"I-I'm not sure." He said. Then, he started to fall backwards.

"Garroth!" I cried, grabbing his arm to stop him from falling over.

"All I remember is Zenix knocking you out. I got so mad, that I attacked him. Then, I thought he was unconscious, but he wasn't, and he pulled an axe out and swung at my head with it. Then, I was just like you. In the darkness." Said Garroth. Then, he narrowed his eyes at my face.

"Where's your- Where are our helms Melanie!?" He asked. I sighed, lifting his helm up.

It had a big dent in it, and a tint of red. I immediately felt bad, because this helm had always stuck with Garroth.

"I'll get you a new one-" I started to say.

"No. Just have this one fixed." He said. I nodded, and we walked off into the village to let the others go.
