Aarav's POV

One of my team went to his office while I moved to his house. I pushed the main gate with my leg and it opened. I entered inside and security stopped us. I gave them a look "I will shoot you and no one can stop me so back off" I yelled and they quietly stepped aside giving me a way to move forward. 

I stepped inside and signaled everyone to search every corner of the house. Sameer had been standing in front of me with an innocent smile "inspector Aarav I am respectable citizen and you have no right to insult me like this" 

I moved closer to him and shot a deadly glare "Behind this industrialist is a blackmailer and kidnapper so stop faking it Sameer.. I will find her"

"no one is here Inspector you are wasting your time" He said meaningfully. 

I walked passed him and began to search myself. I entered the room and felt a familiar fragrance. She was in this room, I searched around but couldn't find anything suspicious. I bend down and there was dried blood traces. I asked the forensic person to take the sample and moved to other room but failed to find anything. I received the phone call from Shinde who informed me nothing is in his office and other premises. 

I sighed deeply and moved downstairs with everyone. A smile appears on Sameer's face "Aarav you know I could file a case against you for disturbing my privacy"

I was trying hard to remain calm "Where is Manvi? She is your girlfriend right? where is she?" I questioned.

"hang on.." he picks up his ipad and calls one of the best hospital of the city. I glanced at the consultant room was left shocked seeing her getting treated. 

"She had gone for medical checkup.. Manvi say Hi to your ex husband!" he said

I glanced at the screen and she smiled at him. He ends the call and gave a look at me "so if you excuse I shall be with her!" 

I demanded to visit the hospital but to my surprise commissioner reached there. Sameer smiled "Sir your officer is not letting me go to my fiancee who is in hospital! even after showing him" 

I turned and said "Sir he is faking it!"

"Aarav there is nothing over here right.. and he just showed the live video call what else you want? he will file complaint against you and then I would have to take action against you which I don't want so leave" he warned me.

"Sir please I found blood traces in the bedroom" I tried to explain.

"That is mine inspector I was hurt..!" he showed me the wound on his forehead. He gave an explanation and I was dam sure it was because he was trying to hurt Manvi. Commissioner strictly told me go away and I left the place with my team in disappointment. 

I reached the police station and sat down on the chair with thud. Shinde passed me a glass of water but I refused to have it. The test reports of that blood came and it actually belong to Sameer. 

I again received a phone call from private number. I picked it up and Sameer laughed "Failed failed.. failed.. very smart move Aarav" 

"Sameer what the hell was that?" I shouted

"I showed what I wanted to show to the world.. the truth is that video! now tell me what punishment I should give her for your over smartness? Shall I have harsh sex with her and harm the baby?" He asked

I got up from my chair in anger "Sameer Khurrana I will break your bones if you crossed your lines!" 

"I already did Aarav.. she cried a lot that day! I really wished you had picked up her calls and saved her" He said and I received a notification on my phone.

"something you don't want me to do again!" he said. I instantly checked it and a tear escaped down my eyes. This man claimed to love her and now forced himself on her.

I placed my phone to my ear again "No Sameer what do you want from me?" I asked

"That's like a good inspector.. There is small piece of paper in your pocket take it out" He said. I checked my pocket and took it out. He must have kept it when I was speaking to him. I opened it and it was a map of something with some dots. 

"These 4 places belong to my rivals I want you to arrest them and make a strong cases against them.. once you do it your ex-wife will be freed! I promise" Sameer said

I ended the call and examined the paper. He joins the joints and places to against the map of the town. He notes down the areas and glanced at Shinde. 

"Sir.. let me get the information about these people" Shinde informed but I denied.

"no Shinde I don't want to take any risk now your job is to try to find out about the location in the first video if that is not Sameer's house or office it must be his hideout! I will go and fulfill his demand" I said.

Shinde was shocked hearing him "Sir I am coming with you" he said as he can't let me take this risk alone. I refused as this is my personal matter. I moved out of the police station and sat on my bike. I headed off towards the first location. I saw a few people inside the building, I took out my binoculars and looked closely. 

I turned and saw Shinde along with a few more police officers. I glared at all of them "why you all are here?"

"Sir we are with you!" Shinde said

"no! I don't know what Sameer wants me to do.. if anything happened I don't want my team to get framed so just leave" I ordered but they refused.

"We are a team Sir.. many times you have saved our lives, you have helped us and today you need us so how can we leave you alone?" other police office said.

I sighed deeply. I glanced at each one of them and they were determined to stay with me. I finally agreed. I instructed the three officers to go to other location and somehow arrest the industrialists by faking that they tried to shoot a police officer. They agreed and left from there. 

I walked inside with Shinde and began to speak to the industrialist. I began to search but couldn't find anything. I pretended that he tried to attack me and I arrested him. I noticed a bag at the corner. I picked up and opened it there were drugs inside the bag. I was shocked, he was actually involved in drug dealing. I saw a few foreigners trying to run.  I catch them and pointed my gun towards them. 

Shinde checked the boxes and beneath the goods were drugs. I snatched the bag filled with money from their hand and Shinde took them into the jeep. 

Everyone was arrested and I made a fake case against the three but the forth one I doubted. I was about to place the proofs of drugs and those foreigners information but stopped when someone grabbed my hand. 

I looked and it was commissioner. "Sir... you"

"So my informer was right! you are involved in drug dealings!" he said

I was shocked "no Sir" I denied this accusation. 

Commissioner shows the photograph of me taking bag filled with money from foreigners and that drugs bag in my hand. He glanced at the people in the jail and was shocked to see them. 

"Aarav how could you arrest these four industrialist they are the repudiated people of the town and everyone respects them.. you are making false case against them?" it was unbelievable. 

I remained silent at my place. He looked around and glanced at each officer "who else is involved in this forgery?" 

Shinde was about to speak but I interrupted "no one Sir! I accept my crime" I said leaving everyone in state of shock. I finally go to know Sameer's intentions, he wants to ruin my name and snatch the honest police office tag from me. 

I was handcuffed and arrested. The honest police cop had became a criminal in just few hours.

Third Person POV

Alisha had been pacing up and down the hall. She was worried about Aarav, she receives a phone call and she instantly picked it up "yes.."

"Alisha mam" she heard the crying voice of Shinde.

Alisha was shocked to hear him "Shinde what happened is Aarav alright?" 

"no mam.. please turn on the television" he said

Alisha picked up the television remote and turned on the television. She gets stunned to read the headlines. "ASP Aarav Malhotra arrested in case of drug dealings and corruption" 

She picks up her car keys and immediately rushes towards the police station. She reaches within half an hour and looks around. She sees commissioner speaking to other senior officer. 

"Sir.." 

Commissioner turned and glanced at her "Yes how can I help you?" 

"Aarav.." I took his name.

"no one is allowed to meet him he is being interrogated.." he said

Alisha requested "please sir" 

He denied, Shinde comes and request. He agreed and Shinde takes her to the interrogation room. Alisha hears his screams and gets stunned seeing him. He hands were tied to the stick and was given third degree torture by police officer. 

"Because of officers like you whole police department is getting blamed!" 

Aarav was in his semi-conscious state. "Sir please stop" the inspector looked at her. 

"keep beating him till he reveals the names of police officers involved with him" the instructed and stepped out the cell. 

Alisha said with teary eyes "Sir why?"

He shouted "he is caught doing drug dealing with foreigners, we found about 5 million of cash in his house.. not only that he made wrong case against 4 business industrialist" 

He shows her the proof against him. The photographs and video recordings. Alisha couldn't believe her eyes. She glanced at Aarav who was silently bearing the torture. 

Manvi had been tied up into the dark room, the door opened and she saw Sameer in front of her eyes. He stepped forwarded and leaned closer to her. She pushed her head back as she hated his closeness. He removed the cloth from her mouth and smiled "I have something to show you.." 

He takes out his Ipad and shows the news headline to her. Her eyes became wide seeing it and tears slips down her eyes. 

He smirked "I must say he still loves you! just to save your dignity he ruined himself! Inspector Aarav Malhotra a traitor" he laughed while Manvi cried in pain. She won't be able to forgive herself as because of her act of love someone suffered who wasn't at fault at all.
