After a month. ...

     The ambience was uplifted to high voltage enthusiasm as Suman's voice reached the high pitch, added with the high notes that already had created  goose flesh among the onlookers. ..

   " are you ready for more. ..?"

Encouraging the viewers to take part, suman began to tone her voice to the settings. ..as expected, her voice emotionally dragged all  and the whole  auditorium was a treat to the senses. ..

  The laser lights danced to her voice and her lustrous hair shone at the light. ..she merely was the  lady of the evening. ..her eyes were shut and she sang as like she was somewhere in the heaven. ...

    fun and frolic accelerated high by time to time. ..there came a point, when her voice broke out beyond the world and it slowly got down. ..

    Mesmerised, the audience kept a pin drop silence for a while before breaking out into the sky high applause. ...

Indeed, it was an out of the world performance. ...!!!

Bravo. ..!!!!

Accepting the appreciations, suman walked down the stage. Vinodh guarded her , making way from the people who flooded to take a picture with sumo. ..

  
    " please. ..Make the  way. .."

He requested and led her to the car. ..

" ma'm. ....why did you keep your personal life under the wrap. .? We assume that you got married. ..why don't you introduce your life partner. .? "

   Press people gathered around the car and shooted queries at sumo that obviously irritated vinodh. ..

His lips curled sarcastically. ..He stepped forward to move them away ...

" wait  vino. ..let me answer them this time. ..."

  She leaned at the car, smiling ...

" I will answer your questions. ..but , on one condition. ..."

While they all looking at each other at confusion , suman continued. ..

  " you shouldn't ask me questions further. ..is that okay. .?"

  Her voice was firm,  yet strong enough to convey that she's sure about what she's saying. ..

  She deliberately cleared her throat. ..

" so, as you all know I keep my personal life as secret. ..but, why do you want to know my personal life. .?I am a normal person and righteous to live a life as I wish. ..ask whatever you want about my singing career. ..I am on to answer. ..my personal life is my personal thing. .."

Her strict tone made the press people dumbstruck. ..they dare not to ask the further questions. ..

  Understanding them, sumo sat into the car. ..smiling formally, she told vinodh to move the car. ..

   It had been a month, she more or less curled herself in to the nest of Shravan's love ...

   She hated to be away from him as his proximity was irresistible. ..she chose to be with him,sitting beside him,  sometimes talking with him. ..sometimes administering  the medications. ..sometimes preparing his favourite food. ..at times, simply starring his calm and alluring face....

  She just hated herself being alone as suman... rather , she loved herself  to be with shravan. ..

Beyond the measure, he took her heart with him. ..hence, she felt it to be incomplete as long as she's away from him. ..

      On the other hand, shravan thought that he already had spoilt her talent only because of his love that she didn't even think to give  a chance to her singing career. ..so, it was a request from him that she should explore singing strictly. ..

    It's really a wonder, how she had threw away her life's ambition and her  independent just like that in a  second. ..perhaps, the love ....the love she had for him stood   high above all her instincts. ..

  But, he wanted her to be the same independent, strong woman besides his love. ..He insisted her to follow her dreams. ..

As his continuous request worked, she began to rock the platforms. ..

Though, she admitted to sing she was very particular in her personal life and, that was such a moment she gave a bold reply to the press people. ...

     Schreeech . ...!!!!

  As the car stopped, she came out of her reverie. ..

" see you in the morning. ..good night. ..."

Vinodh said. Seeing her brightly lit eyes,he nodded mischievously....

" good night. .."

Replying him monotonous, sumo leapt to the doorstep. ..

   " shravan. ..."

Her expectant love loaded voice resonanced through the walls while she pranced over the steps. ..it took less than a  minute for her to reach the room and instantly she clang to him tightly. ...

   " ouch. .."

  Knowing her heart, he hold her into him and beyond his control the moan rolled out. ..

   " shravan. ..are you alright. .?"

Inquiring, she made him to sit in the couch. ..

  Holding the right shoulder that was kept close to chest by the sling bandage, he sat with discomfort. ..His eyes were expressing the pain that shot sharply. ..

" sorry shravan. ..does it hurt more. .?really I am a fool. ..sorry shravan. .."

    As she was blowing air at his wound, his lips drew a naughty smile. ..

" sumo. ..you can get rid off the pain at your simple gesture. .."

Sumo stopped worrying and looked his face. ...He was merily smiling, his eyes winking cautiously demanding a kiss. ..

Sumo stood up swiftly with fake  anger. ..her hands rose to slap him. ..shravan shut his eyes partially,  acting asif he scared. ..

  Seeing his half opened eyes and innocent look ,sumo yanked his cheeks playfully. ...

" shravan. ..shravan. ..."

She whispered his name huskily and rubbed her forehead with his. ..slowly, shravan lifted his face. Reluctantly, her lips touched his. ..

  She softly spoke to his lips. ..

" I love you shravan. .."

   Driven by the effects of her soft lips that touched his manly lips, his hands went to her cheeks and he reciprocated her feelings. ..

" love you too babe"

It took some time for them to come out of their own world. ..just then, the land line phone  rang. ..

" hello. .."  sumo took the receiver. ..

   Her face bloomed at the voice. ..

" Ma. ..how are you. .?mmm ..I am fine. .."

.....

" yes. ..the programme went well. .."

......

"He is getting better. ..by two days, we have doctor's appointment for him. ..don't worry ma. ..I will take care of him. .."

......

" yea ma. ..I am taking oil bath weakly. ..drinking water properly, not wearing jeans frequently. .."

......

"What. .?!!ma. ..."

......

" Ma. ...what are you asking. ..?I am happy with shravan. ....did you hear it well. .? I am happy with shravan...ma. ..Please. ..stop it. ."

......

"  okay..okay. ...I understand. ...ma...now. ..for god sake, please cut the call. .."

   Sumo embarrassed with her mom's enquiries and her face blushed redder. ..

How shameless. ..! It's every  newly wedded couple 's trouble that they should assure their parent that they are happy being married. ..

She sighed ... tapped her head smiling shyly. ..she  walked to shravan who was already witnessing her from the begining. ..

  " What she told. .?" 

Well known to  everything, he inquired as though nothing  he knew. . ..He obsolutely wanted to cherish the cherry red face of hers one more time. ..

She rolled her eyes for a second. ..then , tried to behave casually. ..

    " What she told. .?nothing. ..an usual mother -girl conversation. ..that's it. .."

She stammered in between and managed to fabricate. ..

" Acha. ..then, why did you blush so hard. .? Didn't she talk about her grand children. .?"

His eyes shrunk and squinted at her despondent eyes. ..

" shut up shravan. .."

  He broke out into laughter ....she turned around unable to control her despair. ..

   " my pretty sumo. ..you're such a sweet devil. .."

   He was about to hug her from behind. ..

  " enough ...time to change your wound dressing. .."

She made him to sit and arranged the medical kid to dress his wound...

     She removed the sling support that held his  hand to his chest and opened the old dressing. ..inspecting the wound ,she applied medicine and bandage. .

" shravan. ..I think you don't need this sling support anymore. ...doctor will remove the sutures  (stitches ) soon I think. .."

 
She settled down  the chores and  sat beside him. ..leaning at his left shoulder, she entwined her fingers with him.

  Pressing them softly, she exhaled deeply. ..

" Shravan. ..I would have lost you on that day if I hadn't arrive on time. .."

Recalling the day, Shravan's smile faded away. ..

" sumo. ..I thought I had lost you when I received the bullet deep at my shoulder. ..still, I strove to live only to see you. ..it was your face that clung at my soul when I shut my last breath. .."

Shravan's voice choked ..she hissed him to be quite. ..

"  ishhhh. ..don't say that again. ..you're fine now. .."

  Huskily spoke to his ears, she patted his shoulder very gently. ..

Her gesture was what he wanted all and he felt her shoulders to be cozy. .Sooner, he drifted off. ..

  Hitherto, sumo was his strength. ..now, she couldn't push the memories of the black day when she struggled to hold Shravan's life. ..

  The flashback rolled out as the tears coursed down her cheeks. ... ...
