Kelsey's POV

He stares, stunned, then begins screaming as the sunlight burns his skin.

"What have you done?" He shouts. I yank the tracking device out of his hands and he curls up on the floor, whimpering.

"Something instantaneous. You've got about ten seconds." I give a small wave before jumping backwards out of his ship.

The Doctor's POV

"Kelsey?" I stand up and rub my eyes, forcing them open.

"She's not here." Martha says. She helps me over to the jumpseat and begins disinfecting the gash on my forehead.

"Don't be ridiculous. Kelsey wouldn't abandon us for that vampire." I scoff. "quit playing games, where is she?"

"Not here. she left with Dracula to save us all." Martha snaps.

"What?" I jump up and start for the door.

As I exit the Tardis, I can see Kelsey walking to Dracula's ship. I scream out her name and she turns, gives me a simple wave, and continues walking. Her fingers curl tightly around a round object in her hand. She must have sent me a signal. falling on my knees in defeat, I begin to wonder what she has in her hand.

The ship engines start and they leave me in a cloud of dust.

I stand up and walk back to the Tardis slowly. once inside, however, I sprint to the console and look around for my phototrophic tracking device. that must have been what she flashed at me.

Sure enough, it's missing.

I turn on the solar tracker and try desperately to pinpoint her location.

"Doctor, what are you doing?" Martha asks.

"Saving Kelsey." I reply sharply before slamming my hand on the lever and starting up the engine.
