When Calem woke up, he got dressed and went outside to see if anyone was up. He walked out of his bedroom and saw that Ash and Serena were talking to each other in the living room, both of them smiling. A stinging pain hit Calem in the chest.

"Hey, guys." Calem walked into the living room.

"Hey Calem, did you sleep alright?" Serena asked.

"Yeah. You?"

"I slept well, thanks." She smiled.

When ever he made her laugh, smile, or blush, his heart would feel like jumping out of his chest as waves of happiness overflowed.

"So, I was thinking about living here." Ash continued his conversation with Serena.

Serena's face lit up. "Really? You're going to live here?"

Calem's heart stopped giving out the waves of happiness and created anger and hatred for Ash. "No. No. No! He can't live here. This can't be happening! I'm going o be the one to live with Serena for the rest of my life not Ash. Not ever."

"Yeah, Ive been thinking about it lately and I don't see why not, what do you think?" Ash asked happily after seeing Serena's reaction.

"That's a great idea!" Serena nodded.

"I'm glad to hear, I'm going to unpack my stuff right now, if you don't mind." Ash stood up, from the couch.

"Sure, I don't mind at all." Serena stood up to to go to the kitchen.

Ash headed to Calem's room to grab his stuff and unpack with a smile on his face.

Serena headed for the kitchen, but then was interrupted by Calem.

"Um, Serena?" Calem asked.

Serena turned around. "Yeah Calem?"

"What do you think of me?"

"What do you mean?" Serena asked confused.

"I mean, how do you think of me? Like, how do you see me?" Calem stood up and asked.

"Oh... Well first off you always make me laugh when I'm down, you make me smile by the compliments you say and you're an amazing person Calem. That's what I see in you." She smiled and she started to walk back towards the kitchen, but before she could do anything, she felt herself get pulled back to the wall. And the next thing she knew, Calem was kissing her. His arms held her against the wall, so she couldn't escape the kiss. She tried to break free, but failed.

Ash came in the room. His mouth dropped. He heard his heart give one final beat and shatter. Then he felt the pieces fall down to his stomach. Then rising anger and pain replaced his heart.

Calem released her and she saw Ash. Tears were in his eyes.

"Ash-"

"I don't even want to hear it." He headed towards the front door and opened it. He walked out and slammed the door behind him. It hurt. More then anything he could of felt. It was different then the time he saw Serena die. This one was mixed his anger, creating a whirlpool that Ash couldn't control, nor handle. It was too big. The whirlpool swirled around in him, trying to break out, sending pain throughout his body. It tore everything in its path, including his heart. He ran as fast as he could. He never wanted to come back, never wanted to visit the person who brought him this pain, never wanting to see Serena again.

"Ash, wait!" Tears formed in her eyes, blurring her vision as she ran towards the door. Her heart pounded against her chest, new cracks formed each time, spreading pain throughout her body. It was the worst thing she's ever felt. She felt like killing herself. Her heart felt as if it was tearing itself apart. Creating a rippling pain.

By the time she opened the front door, she couldn't even see Ash. She headed back into the house. She walked back over to Calem and slapped him across face.

A stinging pain was sent to his cheek, but the pain didn't compare to the pain that was in his heart as she saw Serena reject him and run after Ash. "Ow! What did you do that for!?"

"For kissing me!" Serena yelled, tears streaming down her face.

"Didn't you like it?" Calem asked.

"Shut up! I didn't like it! You just kissed me in front of Ash and now he hates me!" Serena yelled at him.

Her voice lowered and turned into scared tone, "Calem why did you do that?"

"I thought- I thought that if I kissed you, you would start to like me." Calem said.

"Calem, I love Ash and now-" She cried, tears still falling down on the carpet floor in the living room. "And now he probably doesn't even love me anymore." The words stung Serena. She never thought that this would happen.

She ran out of the living room and ran to her bedroom, passing Bonnie, crying.

Bonnie ran out of the hallway and saw Calem. "What happened!?"

"I- I kissed Serena... and Ash kind of saw it and ran out of the house." Calem felt tears form on his eyelids.

"You what!? Are you crazy! Does that mean that Ash and Serena broke up!?" Bonnie yelled.

"Wait? They were dating!?" Calem yelled out, dumbfounded. "They were dating this whole time? Why did no one tell me!?" Calem cried out.

"I guess we just suspected you knew." Bonnie frowned.

For hours Serena stayed in her bed room, locked up. Bonnie, Calem, and Clemont all tried to convince her to let them in, but no attempt was successful. Serena couldn't even hear them. She was lost in her thoughts.

She laid on her bed crying, sometimes she would even forget why she was crying. She stopped for a few minutes, until her memory came back and the image of Ash storming out came back vividly. Pain rushed towards her heart as if it was a sponge every time she remembered. How could this happen to her? Who knew where Ash was now? Probably boarding a plane right now to go back to Kanto, or at least that was just what Serena thought, hoping that she wasn't right.

She cried into her pillow, until it got too wet with her tears and she moved on to the mattress. She couldn't stand it anymore. She stayed in her room for the whole day, she didn't even eat anything. All she did was cry. She even cried asleep, her heart cracked and torn, just like Calem's and Ash's.
