This story made me hate calem even more, how strange. Well everything happened after Ash reached alola and gone through his first and second grand trials.

Ash Ketchum couldn't think of anything or anyone except that one girl. After the incident happened he couldn't keep his mind of off it. Not battles, not leagues, not adventuring, non of it, only her. She was the inspiration for him to win every battle, and so he did They kept in touch, they often talked or texted, and he felt happy just listening to her voice, to him it's a sweet melody that can make his world better.
One day she sent him a picture of her and a boy and wrote 'meet my boyfriend, calem'

Ash was left heart broken but still congratulated her. He was on the urge of crying but didn't, he knew that he had lost his chance. That night he cried himself to sleep and his eyes looked bloody red.

With Serena
Serena and calem have been dating for a while now and they are happy well one of them is. But Serena couldn't get ash of her mind thinking he must have been heartbroken. She dated calem because he reminds her of him, her hero. She knew what she has done and now cannot take it back.

6 years later
Today was the day, Serena and Calem are getting married. As calem was standing there waiting for his gonna-be-wife, he was talking to Ash himself.
"Take good care of her, your lucky to have her, okay?" Said Ash. "Of course I will" calem replied.
After a while
Serena was walking down the aisle with her mother as she was handed to calem. She looked beautiful with her long flowing dress with flower patterns on it but there was one thing no one saw the blue ribbon Ash gave her. The ceremony began ( I don't want to bore you so to the end) "any objections" the room was filled with silence. "Ok so now I pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride" (I hate it as much as you do). Calem and Serena kiss each other passionately, as they thought.

As Ash and lilli (cause I hate pokeshipping) were making there way home, he thought 'no matter who your with because my heart will always belong to you Serena'
