It was bright sunny new day in a quite place of kanto where kids playing around at the park which they were at summer camp where kids come and meet new Pokemon at their young age. it was a great experience to learn more about Pokemon.

Near a park, there was a young boy named Ash  heading to park with a smile on his face, feeling excited that made his smile even more wide. He couldn't wait to get to summer camp, wondering what he will do.

Beside him was a brown haired boy, same age as him but taller in height. He was totally different than the raven boy, all he wanted was to be the best Pokemon trainer there ever was which same goes to Ash, but both of their dream are different yet same.

When they arrived at camp, Gary goes to a empty bench and sat down, waiting for the even to start, same goes for Ash who also sits down beside his childhood friend.

"So Gary, what shall we do" Ash said with a smile, looking at him.

"Don't know Ash boy, but I'm going to be the best trainer" he said with a  smirk by closing his eyes with arms folded against his chest.

"Oh yeah, I'm going to be best trainer, and be a Pokemon a master" Ash exclaimed, immersion stood up from his seat and fist pump through air.

"Oh yeah" Gary responded, he too stood up from his seat and glared mockingly at Ash "well I'm going to be best, and beat you" he said with a smirk.

With anger rose up, Ash eyebrows narrowed "oh yeah, we shall see about that" he said as his head moved forward, glaring into his childhood friends eyes.

Gary also did the same. Their foreheads touch each other's while glaring into each other's without taking them away as their teeth clenched. They have been going on like this for a month lately, talking about their dream and beat each when they grow up.  Well it's kids these days.

When they glared at each other non stop. A older man came in between the two boys and gently pulls them away from each other in short distance. 

"Boys settle down, no need to fight." Said the old man, not wanting to cause a ruckus from the two. 

"Professor oak" Ash said with a smile that formed out immediently.

"Hey gramps" Gary said in unison with Ash.

As they were talking with the professor. There was a young shy girl entering summer camp, wearing a pink sundress  skirt that fitted properly in her outfit. She wasn't all happy like the other kids around her, she was just shy.

When she enters summer camp playground. Her mind didn't went through with it so she starts to head back, but a young women stops her from doing it.

"Serena, come on, I'm sure you love it"

The young shy, honey blond haired girl looks up at the women who was her mother.

"B-but I'm scared, what if I get hurt" she said. Almost like she was scared of her life.

"You won't" said the women as she kneels down, same level as her daughter. "I'm sure you will meet new friend, even Pokemon" she added with a gentle smile. Then She looks at her watch on the wrist and looks back at her daughter.

"I got to go, take care" she said in a hurry for something, giving one last kiss on her daughters fore-head and walks away, going into the Parked car as she drives off away from camp, out of sight from her daughter view.

Serena watches the car drive out. She whirls around, facing toward camp and enters through the gate which she dreaded she didn't want to do it.

When she did. She looks around to see lots to children playing games in the playground which she was shy of meeting new people. Who knows, maybe she will meet someone or maybe get bullied.

At this. A loud bell was heard, Serena jumps up from the sound then soon regained as it was just to get the kids attention.

They all looked ahead to see professor oak stepping up the stage with a microphone in his bare left hand. He stops at the centres on the stage and faces towards children.

"Welcome" he greeted "Now at this camp, you will all be meeting new Pokemon in a about short period of time."

There were loud exciting cheers going around the whole area from the children. Ash too was excited with joy as for Gary, he was just here for fun of his friends. With Serena, she was actually scared.

"Now, you will be in groups with other professors, they will guide through the forest so don't worry. so let's get going" he said. Ending the announcement and walks off the stage.

Instantly the kids formed groups, Some were bigger while other were least.

Ash and Gary were in the same group since they both want to find strong Pokemon and battle each other to see who is better. However. Serena was the opposite. She didn't like the idea but she has to go through with it.

She looked over her left shoulder to see two boys which were Ash and Gary. Her mind thought to go talk to them while her body just stiffened not to. Little did we know...this is her last time meeting them.

When the groups were finished, they now head to the forest with other professors guiding them. Not letting one lose away from the group, but little did we know again, that will change with one person.

After a long period of time of searching Pokemon in the quite forest. The kids tried to look for Pokemon. Some of them were found while others didn't, leaving them empty handed. There wasn't much in the forest to find pokemon and It was hard to look one.

Luckily Ash found a Pokemon, far away in his view in distance. It was actually a poliwag, jumping by walking along the dark forest.

"Wait" Ash called. Catching up polliwag as he runs up to it.

On the other side of the forest. There was a girl looking around her surrounding, a scared expression spread across her face that feared for life as the forest was getting darker, hard enough to see. A quite cold gust blew lightly at her skin bringing shivers crawled up to her spine.

"Hello, where are you" she called with a spit of anxiety coming out from her mouth as she looks around her surrounding, finding where has her group had gone but to her avail and  hope, there's wasn't even a slight glimpse of them anywhere.

Lost in a forest with no one around to protect.

Darkness was filled over light.

Horror was sneaking up.

As she walks along the soft-felt green grass while gazing around without watching were she's going. suddenly, she trips over a branch under her foot, causing her too land at the ground with a hard thump from the knee that shot pain through her body with a yelp.

Soon, She looks at her knee while lying on the floor. There was a gash red mark coming from it as hot tears swelled up from her eyes.

"I knew I didn't want to camp, I knew it" she whimpered under her breath with a couple of sniffs. Tears overflowed her eyes as they run down her cheeks to the bottom chin. Her throat was getting heavy but manages to speak out one word.

"MOMMY!" She shouted but it wasn't loud enough for anyone to hear since they were faraway at camp. Well technically she wasn't that far.

When she cried out for help, begging  for someone to rescue her. A rustling bush started to move which alerted Serena. More tears pour out from eyes as she thought it was going to be wild Pokemon or something. When more thought filled out, suddenly a Pokemon jumped out from the bush and land in front of Serena which she got a clear view to see what it was since the forest was getting darker but still could see clearly. When she did, it was only a poliwag, but when looking at it closely for a moment, she remembers it belongs to a boy from before.

Soon, the poliwag jumped away through to another bush, out of sight from Serena as more tears were now pouring out. Leaving her left alone with no around.

From the other side. Ash was glancing around over his shoulder while walking along the path in dark forest. He did fall a couple of times but manages to keep in balance, the reason why was he looking around was to find a Pokemon that ran off.

When he did, he start to reach to a bush, thinking it was hiding inside, also it was a way to Serena.

As he was about to enter through the bush reaching towards it. He was immediently stopped when he caught something from the corner of his eye. He stopped in his tracks from reaching the bush and looks over his left shoulder only to see a certain polliwag hopping towards him.

"Hey poliwag" he said as he motioned his arms wide open to let the Pokemon jump to his free open arms.

The poliwag jumps near the raven boy and jumps again, leaping its body in his warm arms as Ash hold him tight but little loose for comfort, not letting it go.

With a smile on the lips "Come on, let's get out if here, it's getting dark" he said which he was correct as the forest was now getting darker and darker.

Instantly, Ash walks along the way heading straight out of the forest with poliwag in It's arms as they walk out, entering through the bright light. However, he leaving one person behind that he was so close to save in the forest.

Was she safe from harm? Or is it too late.

After a couple of hours playing different activists in each time. The kids now have ended a thier camp. They were pretty fun to play which they loved to play again someday.

Their own parents were outside the summer camps gate as they came to collect their own kids to take home.

Ash and Gary walk out the gate as they head to their own homes which wasn't far for both of them.

"Hey Ash, have you heard" Gary said by getting his friend attention.

"Heard What" Ash responded.

"That a girl has been missing when we were camping out in the forest." Gary replied.

"No way." Ash exclaimed.

With a nod "Yeah, my gramps notice the groups and found that one of the kid which was a girl has been missing, so he looked around in the forest to find that girl." Gary explained.

Ash was curios to know who's the girl so he saved that question for later, wanting to know more if they had found her.

"So have they found her?" ash questioned.

Gary shook "apparently, no they Haven't. They looked for hours but no sign of the girl"

"Oh" Ash respond. " what was the girls name anyway"

"I think it was Selena or Serena, I don't know, I don't even know her." Gary said with a shrug as he carried on walking to his house as they came near.

Ash thought for a moment, thinking if he has heard that name before at camp which made a tingling sense from the brain of his. He shook off the feeling and walks with Gary, heading towards their house saying goodbyes to each other, but rivalry will always come between them.

Little did the raven boy know, that the girl was actually lost in the forest, alone and long gone.

8 years later

"I'm going to miss you guys " the raven called as he was bidding farewell to two blond siblings, waving goodbye. lifting his arms in the air with a yellow mouse on other shoulder doing the same with its paws.

"Bye Ash" a young yeallie haired girl called back with tears overflowing in her eyes.

"Take care" a teenage boy said with glasses placed on as he watches the raven leave from his view. Going to the airport leaving the kalos region.

It has been 8 years since the day from
Summer camp. It has been rollercoaster for the raven haired boy who was actually Ash Ketchum.  Throughout the years, he has travelled around every region, catching and meeting new Pokemon, saving the world from evil organisation and competing leagues out of six, he didn't win one them but will dream one day that he will beat a league. The closest one was the kalos leagues where he faced against a trainer and lost in the final around, he would have felt upset of his lost but he didn't, just smiled, looking back through his journey that he overcame.

All these years, meeting new people and new friends in each region. However, in Kalos it was the first time having without a female companion in the team. It didn't concern him but he wanted to finish the league as soon as possible.  He has defeated all the gym leaders without a lost and saved the world from team flare, so he was perfect without another companion joining the team.

Now, he enters the plane which was heading to kanto, his home native town. He buckled up his seat belt and watches the view outside of the window as the transport begins to move, flying up in the clear blue skies travelling in the air straight to kanto region.

After a long time of flight. The plane lands on ground with a little shake causing Ash to open his eyes and looks outside the window once again to see he has finally landed in his home region.

He woke Pikachu from slumber and goes out of the plane. When he did. He begins to travel all the way back to pallet where he has missed most. friend, Pokemon and last family of his single mother.

When Ash walks over the hill as the sky turned dark with full moon rose in the sky. he saw a small town which was pallet. A smile rose on his lips, seeing that he has returned to his town after a long journey.

"I'm home" he mumbled and runs down the hill with Pikachu following behind, catching up to its trainer.

As Ash was running to his house. A corner of the eyes caught something near a forest tree which made him stop in his track, wanted to see what was on the ground grass, having no clue what it was.

Pikachu instantly stops running too see it's trainer not running along.

Ash walks over the fence. When he did, there he saw a person lying flat down on grass with back facing up at the dark sky.

Ash came closet I take a closer look. A thought ran through his mind of the person if it's dead or alive. He kneels down to its level and begin to gently shake the person without hesitation, trying to wake it up.

"Hey" he said, shaking repeatedly at the mute person who was giving no response.

In fact, he scans from top to bottom at her, seeing a long hair was coulored honey blond but it was all covered in mud which made it go darker. Skin was all freckled with bones forming out. probably underweight. The dress she wore was ripped at bottom to top, it tight for her to wear except looking at her naked which as actually covered.

Ash turned her over and saw her complete face that her eyes were fully closed.

He didn't know what to do until hatching a plan. He easily Picked the girl which wasn't heavy at all, just light as a feather. Dragging her all the way to his house with Pikachu following behind. 

In fact, Ash didn't even know who she was at first but he likes to help people. this was his character.

When he arrives at his front house. He manages to open the door, entering inside the house with girl in his arms.

Pikachu enters the house before it closed and enters in the living room.

"Mom!" Ash called out from the hallway.

Faint footsteps were heard coming out from the kitchen as a adult women appears with her hands wet after washing the dishes clean at the sink.

But when she did, she saw a helpless girl that was being carried by her son.

"What happened" she exclaimed, placing her bare hands near to her mouth in shock of what she saw.

"I don't know mum, I just found her lying on ground outside, but she needs help" ash said, not wasting time.

With a nod in understand "place her on the chair in the kitchen. I'll go get the aid kit." Delia told as she heads up staires to get the kit of bandages and medicine from closet.

Instantly, Ash walks to the kitchen with a girl in his arms who was peacefull throught the time. He enters and places her down on a empty seat then looks at her closely. The face was pale with bones sticking out from the cheek.

"Hey" Ash said as he gently taps her on shoulder. there was no response.

Soon. Delia came downstairs and reached at the kitchen with a kit in her hands. She walks to the helpless girl, taking out the medicine from the box and gives it to her. 

After a couple of minutes. The girl slowly opened her eyes, giving out a clear view of them which were blue like ocean sea. She looked around to see two people before her that she even doesn't recognise them.

Soon, a boy stepped forward in her view, he was the same age as her.

"Hey, what your name" a raven boy said with curious.

There was no response from the girl, just mute.

The boy signed until a gasp was heard from the tall women. He looked over his shoulder and spoke.

"Mum, what wrong?" He questioned of her action.

"Ash, do you remember the news at summer camp when you were little" said the mother.

Ash nods "yeah, I've heard that a girl was lost in a forest, but they never found for years."

"Ash, she's the girl who was lost in the forest" Delia said by pointing out at girl "I remember correctly that a women was looking for her daughter. she looks exactly the same in the photo....I think her Name was grace."

Ash's eyes grew wide. Hearing the words been spoken out from her mother. He was completely shocked that he has found the missing girl that has been gone for years without been found. He now looks at the girl still in her seat.

"Wait, your name is Serena. Right" he said, remembering it.

The honey blond girl tilted her head with confusion plastered on Her face, not giving a single word out from her mouth which was difficult to tell if she is the one. luckily they managed to find out that it really is the girl from summer camp.

"I'll go contact professor oak and tell him the news" Delia said as she steps out of the kitchen leaving the two teenagers alone.

Ash looks at Serena one last time... to see his new friend before him.
