With the battle continuing on. Ash takes out three of Calem's Pokemon Tyranatram, Talonflame and Florges. while Ash's pokemon did not faint, they were without scratches with Pikachu, Talonflame and Goodra, who were unfainted. we now head toward the battlefield where Calem throws another pokeball.

Calem: Chestnaught your up

Throwing the pokeball and out comes a green type armoured Pokemon making a loud roar.

"Chestnaught!"

Ash looked at the Pokemon, he knew it was raised well by sensing its power.

Ash: that's a good looking Pokemon Calem, you raised it quite well.

Calem: Shut up, I'm here to beat you ass ketchup and you're not going to win! 

Ash: we shall see

When he said that, he returned Goodra to its pokeball and gets another one out, throwing it up in the air as a flash came out, revealing a grass type pokemon who had a stick from its mouth, green skin and lizard eyes. On its back we're yellow balls.

Landing on the battle with one knee on the ground and screams with a battle cry.

"Scep Sceptile!"

At the stands, the group were watching on the battle, which was now a grass type battle. However, they never knew that Calem was getting easily defeated. Gary knew that Calem was no match for Ash even May who was smiling down at her cousin while Serena was in deep thought.

How are you strong that Ash, she thought

A shiver went up to her spine, thinking of how he's going deal with Calem's mega evolved Pokemon.

On the battlefield Ash commands first beating Calem from speaking out the move.

Ash: Sceptile use quick attack.

the grass type forms a white aura, surrounding its body and runs with quick force towards the green armoured pokemon. Calem gazes on the move of how fast it was but shook it off in time to command.

Calem: Chestnaught quick, use hammer arm.

Chestnaught quickly forms a white shining glow from both its arm and raises high for the hit but Ash commands its next move.

Ash: sceptile use leaf blade.

Sceptile both arms had sticks coming out, looking like curve knive, glowing it green and motioned as a X shape, quickly hitting the hammer arm from Chestnaught who blocks it.

Then the two grass type Pokemon attack head on, turning into a back to back with trainer's watching on their pokemon to see who could hit first. luckily, Chestnaught hits Sceptile body making it slide back. Calem smirked, knowing it was the time to wrap things up.

Calem: Now Chestnaught, hyper beam.

Chestnaught makes a orange ball near to it's open mouth, focusing all the power by aiming it at Sceptile and fires with a orange fiery colour as it blasts. Sceptile didn't move but Ash knew he had plan up his sleeve.

Soon, the beam hitted with black smoke coming in the air. Calem smirks again that he had finally beaten one of Ash's pokemon. The crowd looked intense, even the gang but what they didn't know was something up in the air.

As the smoke cleared, there was no sign of sceptile anywhere not in sight on the battlefield. Calem looks around to see if there is any sign then looks at Ash who grinned and points his finger up.
Calem was confused at first but follows up with his eyes started to widened. There he saw Sceptile who was high up in the air, on the roof.

Calem: what the, How! 

Everyone looked at Calem and followed him with shocked and gape expression to see Sceptile not injured or hurt, even the gang were surprised except Gary who knew his friend would do it, because that was his plan.

Ash: Now sceptile, use soler beam.

Sceptile straighten its body, aiming it at Chestnaught. The small balls on its back started to glow as sparks followed on and fires straight at chestnaught.

Calem didn't have time to react as the solar beam moved faster than his words. the beam hitted Chesnaught who made a scream of pain. Soon the beam ended with the smoke cleared up and Chestnaught falls to the ground with immense and swirling eyes.

Referee "Chestnaught is unable to battle, Sceptile wins"

Calem was surprised that his first pokemon and friend was defeated. He return his pokemon to its pokeball in silence and took another one, throwing it in the air revealing a dog with white fur and blue hair.

"ABSOL"

Ash took a closer look at Absol and saw a necklace with a sphere shape, inside two colours. He knew what it was because Clemont did tell him before when he started school. Although, he still thought why Calem used Absol his fifth. Should it be his last Pokemon?

He returned Sceptile to it's own pokeball, still wanting to let all his friends to take turns. He detaches one sphere pokeball from his belt and throws it in the air. A flash came out and revealed a big dragon with orange skin and big flappy wings as it lands heavily on the battlefield.

"CHAAAAARR"

When it roared, it breathed out fire from its mouth. Ash smiled knowing his pokemon would do that when it enters in battle.

the crowd and the gang watched in amazement, they never knew that Ash's pokemon was that big.

Gary started to smiled remembering the time his Blastoise versed Ash's Charizard before the league those good old times. however, what he didn't know was something around its neck of Charizard.

On the battlefield, Calem didn't waste anytime. He slides his wrist jacket up revealing a black bracelet with a sphere shape jewellery, inside was a little black feather.

Calem: Ok Absol, mega evolve *raising its arm that had the bracelet on*

A bright light came from Absol necklace with Calem bracelet as the both attach, making a white line. Absol started to change it's forms into a different version. It's horn was bigger and had wings that looks like angel wings on it's back.

Everyone knew that Calem was going to mega evolve, they even knew what it looks like. Even the gang knew about this.

Dawn: well he evolved it.

Drew: He does mega evolve his Absol in the start.

May: don't worry guys, Ash will beat him. I know it.

Gary: *smiles while closing his eyes* you're right May, who knows, maybe that charizard could be stronger that Absol.

Serena watches from Gary to Ash. Watching the battle continuing on. Calem commands first after the evolution.

Calem: lets finish this Absol, use mega horn.

The dark type pokemon glows a green from on its horn that looks like a pruning knife making the attack go bigger and run fast towards the drgaon type,

Ash: Dragon claw.

Charizard's clawed hands were glowing green, making It go bigger as claw shape and then went straight for the attack by blocking it with its strength and power.

The two Pokemon soon go back to back as they fight on to see who hits first, Charizard finds a way and hits Absol's head, making the dark type grunt in most damage as it gets up slowly.

Ash smiles and takes out bracelet from it's pocket Revealing a bracelet with a sphere shape in the centre. on the other side of the battlefield, Calem saw this with a shocked expression.

Calem: No way!

Ash puts the bracelet on his wrist and presses gently on the gem, making charizard necklace and the bracelet glow together.

Ash: Key stone, respond to my heart, let's win this challenge and never give up. Charizard mega evolve!

with the light glowing from the bracelet and Charizard's necklace, they both connect their lines together before Charizard body began to change its form.

The crowd watched on in amazement. seeing a new Pokemon evolution infront of their eyes, even professor Sychamore, who was standing in the stands. Although, there was someone on his mind that had a Charizard like that, which can mega evolve .

Soon, the evolution ended. We now see Charizard's body has now changed, revealing a big and monstrous size. its colour is the same but the form is different.

the crowd roared in excitement and ecstasy, watching a mega evolution battle. The gang were stunned even the great Gary oak except for may who knew her cousin was that strong.

Gary: WHAT! WHEN DID ASH GET A MEGA STONE.
standing up from his seat and shouted until Misty spoke out.

Misty: Gary, sit down.

When she said that, Misty grabbed Gary's back shirt, making him sit back in his chair.

Iris: that's a dragon type Pokemon, isn't it.

Dawn: No its a fire type.

"It's both" someone spoke out behind.

The gang looked behind to see their head teacher, professor sycamore, standing behind them.

Gary: What do mean both?

Sycamore: well, when Charizard mega evolves, it has two types, one is fire and the other is dragon.

the group listened and nodded in understand, then watched on the battlefield to see Ash make the first move.

Ash: Ok Charizard, let's give it all we got, wing attack.

Charizard made a mighty loud roar making a flamethrower come out from its mouth and starts to flaps its wings with a white brightening on, as it speed lightening straight at Absol. However, Calem had time to speak up, countering the attack.

Calem: Mega horn

the dark type Pokemon's horn glows green, gathering the energy and runs straight towards Charizard, hitting it straight but was block from its wings. Charizard use some of its strength by overtaking Absol and pushes the dark type away, making it slide back in front of Calem.

Ash: flamethrower!

Charizard mouth had fire inside and spits out the flamethrowers straight at Absol and hitted dead on making it fly to the wall in immense force as it cracks the wall then lands on the floor with burnt scratch marks on the fur, Calem didn't see that coming but knew that his Pokemon can do it.

Calem: absol you alright

Absol nods at his trainer but still felt the pain from flamethrower. Ash knew this straight away that Absol was suffering a lot of damage from the attack, he thought Calem was going to return to its pokeball and rest. But no, he was wrong, Although it didn't affect that to Calem as he command the next move.

Calem: Absol use dark pulse.

Absol jumps up and forms a dark purple sphere near to its open mouth that had lines as it circled around and blast its way to Charizard.

Ash: Dodge it.

Charizard flys out of the way from the dark pulse and flyes up in the air but not near the stand. Not wanting the attack to head straight towards the students.

Calem: again use dark pulse.

Absol does it again, aiming it better this time but to its luck, it missed by far. Charizard was flying glidely up in the air without a mark. Absol lands on the ground but still felt pain from the flamethrower before. but that didn't go unnoticed that Ash can see right through the dark type Pokemon.

Ash: Calem, return Absol, look at it, it's in pain, can't you see it.

Calem: shut up ketchup, if my Pokemon can still battle then so be it. Absol use dark pulse again.

Absol felt very tired almost like it wanted to faint but has to carry on for it's trainer. Absol forms another dark pulse but this time it misses and the attack was slower as usual, Ash takes a glance at the tired Absol, he felt sorry for doing this but he has to do it for it's sake. Ash makes a fist as he spoke.

Ash: Charizard finish it with blast burn.

the dragon flyes from the air and descend straight to the ground, punch its clawed fist by making the ground shake with flames coming out, heading straight for Absolute who had no time to move as the blast hit the dark type dead on. making black smoke come out from the attack, the referee tried to check, which he did and saw Absol lying down with black marks and scratches on it's body.

Referee: Absol is unable to battle Charizard wins, Calem you have one last Pokemon left.

Calem didn't say a word, he had a shocked expression that his mega evolved has fainted, everyone in the crowd thought he was going to lose. However they where wrong as Calem was hiding his next Pokemon.

Charizard flyed down to it's trainer who hugged its head and returns to its pokeball same with Calem.

in the stand the gang were still watching on as they saw another pokemon fainted from Calem. Then Dawn spoke up with a excited tone.

Dawn: oh wow! i never knew your cousin was that strong.

May: well, what can i say, that my cousin for ya.

Gary: hey! that's ashy boy for you.

Misty hits Gary on the head with a mallet, shutting him up. Gary scratches his head in pain and spoke out to Misty.

Gary: Ow, what was that for.

Misty: Shut up Gary.

The gang sweat dropped and ignored the argument from the two. Serena was watching Ash beat Calem in front of her eyes, she never knew he was that strong to begin with but to her usual thought, what is Calem's next Pokemon. That even goes to everyone in the stadium, they only saw his Absol last as they wander what could be Calem's next one.

in the battlefield Calem puts his pokeball to its belt and takes out another which he strangely smiled at Ash.

The crowd were watching on, this was the first time they saw their champion on its last pokeball, they saw his mega evolve absol fainted but they didn't know his next pokeball, it was their first time

Calem: i got say....ass ketchup, you really have beated my five Pokemon.

Ash: its Ash, Ash ketchum, can't you get in your thick brain.

Calem: whatever, for this next one I'm going to beat you and every single one of your Pokemon, so come on out.

Calem spoke and throws the pokeball on the air and opens. revealing a dragon or bird type with a Y shape body. everyone in the crowd looked in astonishment seeing Calem's last Pokemon. Ash looks up to see a legendary in his own auburn eyes. It had red skin with black zig zag lines on the back with big wings as its flaps down.

Ash: So you got a legendary Yvetal, impressive.

Calem: yeah, I've been hiding this Pokemon for ages. now its revealed, i'm going to beat you.

Ash smiles and takes out another pokeball from his belt. presses the button to expand it in his grip.

Ash: Well Calem, I think your time has came to an end.

Calem: what do you mean.

Ash throws the pokeball in the air with a flash brought down, revealing a frog that looked like a man but different feature. it had it's arms crossed upto its chest and stood still like a statue.

"Gren"

In the stands they were all looking scared for Ash that he was up against Calem's legendary, Yvetal. To add, the gang didn't know that Calem had a legendary behind their back this whole time, it was like they were back stabbed.

Gary: he has a fricking legendary! what the hell.

May: i got say but, i never expected this or knew that Calem was hiding this from us the whole time, did you know Serena?

As may questioned that, she didn't get any respond, so she she turned her head to look at her. what she saw was Serena had a scared expression, not looking at Calem but at Ash.

May: Serena

Serena broke out of thought and looked over at her friend.

Serena: yeah

May: You dosed off, you alright.

Serena: y-yeah, I'm fine thanks.

When she replied to may. Serena looks away and focused on Ash.

'please be careful Ash' she thought

on the battlefield, we now head over to the two battlers with Ash who uses Greninja to win this last battle and be the new champ while Calem uses the legendary yveltal to defend his title of champ and carry on to win. there was a short silent between the two but Calem broke it.

Calem: hmph, lets finish this once for all, use oblivion wing.

the legendary Pokemon forms a dark purple balloon that kept blowing big into a sphere then fires straight at Greninja but Ash quickly manages to command just in time.

Ash: quick greninja dodge it.

the frog leaped out of the way from the attack as it continues straight making dust poured out from the ground after turning the path into stone.

Suddenly, Ash had an idea but it was a very risky move to try. If he was going to end this battle, then he has to bond with Greninja. However, Pikachu notices this and grew worried for it's trainer safety.

Ash: Greninja, let'Z do it.

the frog looked back at his trainer for a moment and nods in agreement. Although, Greninja was feeling the pressure to make his trainer safe from all the attacks. Ash nods back in determination and lift his right straighten arm up as Greninja does the same. The crowd were confused of their action while Calem was laughing his head off.

Calem: hey! this isn't a dance show.

Ash heard this but ignores. Soon a big water veil forms around Greninja making a big tornado as it flyes up to the school roof.

Calem's face turned from laugh to shock expression, even the crowd. They have never seen this before in a battle, their thoughts were it could be a new move but there were so wrong.

With the gang they were looking with an astonished face, never seeing this experience.

Dawn: What going on

Gary: i don't know, but it looks like a new move to me.

Misty: a new water type move.

Clemont: hmm, this is interesting maybe sci-

May: this is no time for science Clemont, this is different.

Clemont stops talking and looks down in disappointment.

Dawn: Wait, look.

When Dawn shouted giving the gang the attention, they looked over at the battlefield to see the water around Greninja was moving to the back. Forming an X shape shuriken on its back glowing sea blue, but that's not it.

It's features has changed with a coloured red on top, raven hair on the side of its ears and on the body, there was a sign of a Y shape.

Calem looked in shocked, seeing a new feature of Greninja, even the crowd. They have never seen a Greninja that could mega evolve without a key stone.

Sycamore: this is marvellous, i must research this.

Soon, Greninja opened its eyes and glares straight at the legendary Pokemon.

Ash: Ok Greninja use water shuriken.

the frog jumps up by bending it's knees up to the body and throws the shuriken fast from its back towards the legendary as it spins rapidly.

Calem: Use dark pulse.

Yvetal creates a dark purple near its body and fires in path at the shurken, as both attack smash into each other with sparks coming out, fighting for strength. there was gusty wind going around the gym as people hold on to their seat.

Then, the spinning shuriken breaks through which shocked Calem, he never thought that a legendary move would get beaten. without realising the battle, yveltal get hit and falls down to the battlefield with immense.

Ash: Greninja, use Ariel ace!.

Ash commanded as loud as he can, it was now do or die for this last battle.

Greninja spread across the battlefield forming a white glow from both it's arms and legs and starts punching hard on yveltal body who screeches in so much pain. Greninja gives a last kick on Yvetal who was about to fall but Calem was not going give up that easily.

Calem: come on, get up, use oblivion wing.

He commanded, pointed out straight.

yveltal shook the pain off. It stood up and flyed up in the air forming a light purple spheres and fires stright at greninja with a blast.

Ash: dodge greninja.

Greninja Dodges the oblivion wing just in time. However, the oblivion wing doesn't end their, it was heading straight towards Ash who's eyes widened in fear.

"PIKA"

"GREN"

Pikachu and Greninja looked at the attack that was heading towards their trainer so they quickly went and stood in front of their trainer. Ash saw this with wide eyed.

Ash: Pikachu, Greninja.

He said in a concerned tone, worrying his Pokemon that were protecting him.

"PIIIKAAACHUUUU"

"GREEENNNINJAAA"

Pikachu uses thunderbolt while Greninja used Water shuriken as both thier attacks head straight at the oblivion wing, making it stop just in time from hitting thier own trainer into stone.

The crowd looked in shocked seeing their school champion could do such a horrible and dangerous attack against its opponent. Even the gang looked in awe and shocked, they couldn't believe that Calem would do such a thing. Suddenly, Paul stood up from his seat and shouted to Calem from the stand.

Paul: CALEM, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND.

the gang looked from Calem to Paul usually he always was a quite guy who doesn't socialise with other people but now here he is shouting. then Gary got up from his seat and shouted with Paul.

Gary: YEAH CALEM, WHAT THE HELL, YOU NEARLY MADE ASH INTO A STONE!

Calem heard this from the gang and looked at them with a very angry expression which caught them off guard.

Calem : SHUT UP

When shouting at the gang, he then looks straight at Ash, still with an angry expression.

Calem: I'll do whatever I want. And do what i want, yvetal use hurricane, Now!

yveltal attacks, which caught greninja off guard making it fly to wall, smashing it's back against wall and screams in pain with Pikachu, Ash eyes widen and felt great pain going through his body like a sharp bullet. Putting his arms around his body. However, Calem looks at Ash and notice this. An evil smirked formed was on his face with a plan shot straight up.

Serena looks at Calem and follows knowing his plan, she knew it was a vengeance so Serena stood up from her seat and shouted in concerned which didn't bother for Calem.

Serena: Ash!, look out.

Calem: yveltal use Ariel ace.

the Y shaped pokemon obeyed and went straight with such speed at greninja, hitting with such great power into its stomach making his eyes widened and scream pain. Ash does the same. his legs bend down hitting the floor, coughing out with a little blood as it spits to the floor.

Calem watches Ash fall and evilly laughs then continued with no mercy.

Calem: do it again

the Y shaped pokemon does it again. Obeying it's trainer's command and heads straight at Greninja stomach again with aerial ace. Making Greninja and Ash feeling more pain. Feeling the pressure on their ribs which surely was about to get crushed.

The gang watched in horror seeing Ash who was feeling the pain with Greninja. Serena couldn't bare watching her crush, she wanted to stop this but didn't have the courage to do but Gary stood up and shouts trying to stop Calem from hurting his friend.

Gary: CALEM STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!

Calem didn't listen to Gary words and continued on with an evil smirk across his face.

Calem: again yvetal!, harder!

Yveltal obeyed once again and hit greninja on the stomach with full force and strength making Ash coughed out blood from his mouth, clutching on his stomach as blood drips.

Serena couldn't bare seeing this, her boyfriend hurting her crush made her fear all go away and stood up.

Serena: CALEM STOP IT!

Calem looked at Serena with a mad expression, he didn't like people stopping him even Serena. Calem turns his head away from his girlfriend and onto the battle but was shocked on what he saw. Ash stood up from the ground, his legs were wobbly a little like catterpie but hanged in balance and forms a smiles with a chuck to

Ash: heh, is that all you got, that was weak.

Ash said In a mocking tone Which made Calem get mad as ever and commands.

Calem: yvetal, finish this, use oblivion wing.

Ash: Greninja double team.

Calem: take out the fakes.

Yvetal starts to create a oblivion wing while Greninja makes copies of itself trying to confuse yvetal as it hits all Greninja's fakes but there was not a single sight of the real one.

Ash: Ariel ace

Ash Screamed with all his might from his lungs.
Out of nowhere, Greninja swiftly appears in front of Yvetal and starts punching and kicking it's body, making it fall to the ground immensely with dust as it lands on the battlefield ground.

Ash: now, WATER SHURIKEN!

still in the air, Greninja quickly grabs the shuriken from its back and throws it towards yveltal who didn't have to move as the shuriken hits it's target which made black smoke come out with a gusty wind.

Soon the Smoke cleared, revealing yvetal lying on the fall with swirling eyes.

Referee: yvetal is unable to battle, Greninja wins. All Calem's Pokemon are unable to battle which means Ash Ketchum is the winner making our new school champion!

When the referee spoke out. The crowd stood up from their seat and roared explosively For Ash's victory, Even the gang but they were still angry with Calem.

Ash slowly walks towards Greninja who reverts back to it's normal form, still feeling the pain by giving a high five for their victory even pikachu who climbs on its trainer shoulder. Ash looks to his shoulder and pets Pikachu giving out a coeed sound. 

Calem fall down to his knees looking defeated that he lost. However what he didn't know was Ash who was walking up to him.

Ash: Calem.

He looks up from the ground and saw Ash smiling down at him.

Ash: That was good battle, lets battle next time except the killing part.

He chuckled and offers his hand for a handshake. Calem looks at the offer with a snort and slapped the handshake away, refusing it. He stood up from the ground and faced Ash.

Calem: listen, you got lucky but next time. I'm going to beat you.

When he said that, he turns around, returning yvetal to it's pokeball without saying a word and walks away, leaving the gym arena.

Ash looked on and shrugged then turned around, looking up to the stand to see his friends cheering him. 

Dawn and may we're jumping like children, the boys were smiling down even the girl. Ash smiles and vetted his eyes at Serena. When he stops, Serena cheeks blushed red, he doesn't know why but ignored it and continued smiling at her which she smiles back before Gary interrupts.

Gary: ASHY BOY, WILL MEET YOU AT LUNCH.

When Gary shouted, the whole gang walked away, exiting the gym arena and out of his sight. 

Ash looks from the gang to his two Pokemon who were in front, suddenly his stomach rumbled loud. Luckily there weren't any students around the gym to hear it. Ash sweat dropped and spoke.

Ash: ehe, who wants lunch.
